Using version r20827 and it's cancelling buffs other than my mount buff when I attempt to dismount.

I have encountered an issue with AutoDismount not dismounting at all that I've been unable to pin down that is probably related, but whatever the circumstances are that cause it I'm unable to reproduce consistently so I'm not sure where the problem is.

    1) Repair items in my bags as well...

    It doesn't? :-o

If that's the case (I have to take a look next time), I also would like to see that added. ^^

I am quite positive it does in fact repair items in bags. Earlier this year my previous version did not, I noticed when I was preparing to release Automaton that the function RepairAllItems() now includes bag items and even added the wowwiki page for it.

I don't have the slightest clue why you would be repairing items from your bags by hand.

Uploaded a couple updates which add a delay option to AutoGroup and AutoRez. Some changes to AutoSummon, which I've still not tested at all -- someone let me know if there's anything screwy with that module. Also added in the dismount changes listed above to work when spells are out of range, which I can't actually decide if I like or not. That may turn into something you can toggle on or off at some point.

If your raid leaders are using it 5 times in a row I'd consider that an issue with misuse of the ready check functionality causing you to need this automated. But that's all opinion and circumstances as we've been over, which I think we've covered this well enough. You probably don't have control over how often they use it so I can see why you would want this.

I'd also like the autoready check.

Not including it because you don't agree with it's usage doesn't prevent usage of autoready addons at all. If someone wants that functionality they'll get it from another addon if you don't provide it. As someone previously mentioned, there isn't currently a nice small addon that does all of: auto accept invite, auto res, auto summon, auto ready. There are several that do all but one.

You could even argue auto res and auto accept invite can also support afk'ers during raids.
Auto ready is a feature that can be used responsibly too, it doesn't necessarily have to hurt raids.

Regardless of arguing it's proper usage, its an automation feature that many people want and can either be included in an all-in-one automation addon like this, or people's addons will be a bit messier with an additional addon for just that or one that covered duplicate functionality too.

As I said I am a guild leader of a raiding guild and I know for a fact I would hate my members using it. The point of a ready check is to make sure everyone in the raid is paying attention and ready to begin a fight, receive instructions, move -- whatever. Not requiring user interaction defeats the purpose -- there's no way to be sure they really are in fact ready.

However, I'm not completely unreasonable. If someone else wants to write a module to do it and put it on the svn, I'm absolutely fine with that. In fact, if it's written well and refuses to accept ready checks if the player is marked AFK I might even be willing to put it in the "official" release (although no promises).

If confirming a ready check does not require a hardware event though, I'm probably going to suggest that it be changed to.

I'm wondering if you could add settings for Group Loot rolls, like, auto roll need, or auto roll pass. Trying to setup an addon to do it automatically when I dual log instances, if you can't I'll just do it myself I guess, doesn't look too hard ^^

I'm not quite sure I understand what you would want this to do. I know pickup groups often pass on bop and need/greed everything else, but from my experience it can vary widely as to which is appropriate. I foresee something that tries to guess which to choose ending up mostly just annoying the user.

Could you please add auto accepting of ready checks? Reslack does this, but does not have the additional functionality that yours does.

Please don't. Having a mod auto-accept ready checks completely defeats the purpose of ready checks. A ready check is to verify that you're present and paying attention. If you are, it's not hard to click the "Yes" button. If your raid leader is spamming ready checks, that's something you should take up with him/her.

As a guild leader in a raiding guild, I'm going to have to agree with Phanx. I'm certainly not going to add this.

And the Auto loot BoP function doesn't work either (will just stay in loot position and do nothing, no error msgs).

Fixed this issue -- sorta. Turns out, unsurprisingly, binding confirmation requires a hardware event. So while you won't be able to auto loot an entire corpse that has BOP items on it with this feature, it will suppress the confirmation window when you do click on the item.

Have a problem with the shift autogossip bypass ain't working.

And the Auto loot BoP function doesn't work either (will just stay in loot position and do nothing, no error msgs).

I'll have a look at these tonight.

I've also added another module that triggers stand on UI "Must be standing" errors.

Might I add would be great... if you could add support for the Shaman ghost wolf for auto unshapeshift. I installed this mod thinking that it was already in there! Thanks

    Fixed.

I've also bumped it to 1.2.1 and added modules to auto accept summons, and to automatically loot BOP items when you're not in a raid/party. However, I haven't had a chance to test either of these modules so let me know if they fail horribly.

The Conjured Cinnamon Rolls are missing in the AutoTrade file :-)

With tomorrow's patch, AutoTrade flat out won't work, so it's going to fall into the twisting nether never to return.

There will be a new 'official' release put up either tonight or tomorrow sometime as well.

I've decided at this point it makes more sense to hold off on a new "official" release until the 2.0 patch; hopefully that won't be too long. I'm happy to see some of the new modules that have been made, and I'll be putting them in with the next release. By the way, if you write a module please credit yourself with a comment at the top of it, I don't want to steal credit for anyone's work!

If you are using autoattack mod and pull aggro on a mount the mod will try to autoattack and i get the "you are mounted" and automation dismounts me. Is there anyway to tell automation to not dismount when you have a hostile target?

Maybe this is something autoattack author needs to fix. But i just wanted let you know and see if there is something that can be done. Otherwise great mod keep up the good work.

That sounds quite annoying, and I'm not at all surprised an issue like this crops up for some users. Your solution of not dismounting if you have a hostile target however, would not always fix it I suspect. I'd imagine this autoattack mod is getting called on PLAYER_REGEN_DISABLED, meaning the fix would only work occasionally. If you happen to have yourself targeted, or a player in your group, etc, you'd still get the message. So it'd be best to have that check occur in the autoattack mod. Although if it's all that I think it is (I haven't actually looked at it), I could hack together a quick little Automaton module to do this as well.

Could you please add a check, so that the auto-join battleground will not auto-join when I am actually in a battleground? :)

I do intend to add a couple more features to AutoQueue with the next version, such as this.

If you'd like to provide translations for what's missing, I'm sure other the other Deutsche speaking users would appreciate it.

I did. I'm not sure about some things, though:
    - "Thank you, Stable Master. Please take the animal." (that's Horde side AV, I suppose, I don't play Horde, so...)
-in the 'AQ War Effort Items' section, I might have put plural forms, where singular belongs, but my server is past the opening of AQ so I can't check that
-some patches ago, they changed the MC entering process, we no longer touch the crystal but instead tell Lothos to teleport us to MC. Don't know about the US/GB, since you still have <Touch the unstable rift crystal.> in the .lua

    so here's my changed Locale-deDE.lua

<edit:> looks like the next Autotrade.lua is next^^

I left the MC rift crystal thing in because that's how it was when I actually went to MC way, way back when :) I haven't actually played in many months.

Thanks very much for the translations! I'll put them in with the next version.

I've not forgotten Automaton, just gotten myself busy with a number of other things (cough TBC beta cough). There are a lot of good suggestions for fixes/additions I'm looking forward to putting in when I get around to setting a few hours aside for it.

Yes, I was lazy and just copied the English locale over to the others and then changed them. I couldn't find/didn't have time for everything, so the ones I hadn't changed were left as they were in the English locale. I didn't realize that they couldn't be set to true in other Locales, and don't have any method of testing so...

This should be a somewhat quick fix, just go into your Automaton/modules/Autogossip/ directory and open up your locale (Locale-deDE.lua). Anywhere you see ["Something"] = true, needs to be translated before it will work for that quest/gossip item. If you just want to get rid of the errors you can just change them to ["Something"] = "Something", but I'm pretty sure deleting them would generate a different error.

If you'd like to provide translations for what's missing, I'm sure other the other Deutsche speaking users would appreciate it.

I've just gotten a key for TBC beta, so I've been messing with that lately and seeing what kinds of changes are necessary (mostly very minor ones) and what new hurdles exist (some in-combat quirkiness with a few modules). I do intended to still provide updates for the 1.12 retail version, but it may be a bit before I get to it. I can also release a working version for TBC at some point in the near future for those of you who are in it.
