I've noticed over the last few builds that the Shaman Ankh is not showing up on the raid cooldowns in oRA2.

It would also be really nice to have the oRA2 version check have an option to whisper all users who are not up to date with the most recent version of the mod in the raid telling them to go update.

As for the center-justification: You're exactly right. As a workaround, though, I use Align to center it.

I just recently switched to Chocolate Bar and I find that anyone looking for that Fubar replacement with the center-justification should give it a go. It was just added in the last build and it has a very simple, low configuration option that now does exactly what I want in replacing Fubar.

I've been loving Baggins more and more as I have gotten used to using the mod but one problem I haven't found a work around for yet is that as I am getting new 22 slot bags I have been rotating bags into my bank slots but the only way to access my bank slot bags is to disable Baggins to see the default UI for the bank.

Not beeing able to Set MTs / PTs via Dropdown as in older versions made the thing a bit to hard to handle for me - especially since we often change MTs during a raid.

I decided to write my first Broker Addon - bringing back this functionality.
If someone is interested - a download link is in the first post of this thread:
    http://forums.wowace.com/showthread.php?t=14829

I've been really missing the drop down for the MT setting. Having to use the menu to type in the tank names is extremely tedious. I'll have to check your addon out tonight.

I found the problem with the scroll issue -- old code is used there.
Change the existing function in core.lua

    sframe:SetScript("OnVerticalScroll", function(self)
    FauxScrollFrame_OnVerticalScroll(self, 16, 4, updateScroll)
    end)
    TO:

    sframe:SetScript("OnVerticalScroll", function(self, offset)
    FauxScrollFrame_OnVerticalScroll(self, offset, 16, updateScroll)
    end)

^ The scrolling issue has been really annoying, I'll look for the beta that has the fix in it as the latest oRA2 from curse does not seem to have the fix yet, otherwise I'll have to go code hunting for this fix. Thanks!

    seppyk,

My data admin took off for a week and I ended up having to cover the data entry for a few raids. I have to say that the mod was for the most part very easy to use. The lack of waitlisting from outside the raid was tough because it required some alt+tabbing and manual data entry to add our waitlist players. I'd love to at the very least get the whisper command to add people to the list.

Also, when my data admin got back he told me that CTRT in a recent update had the ability to watch raid chat for bidding and pull the highest number typed out by the looter as the value of the item. I don't think it would be important to do anything quite so fancy but having the Headcount window popup so we can quickly enter the value for an epic item (that is not on the exclusion list) when it gets looted would help. Also, an option to disable that feature when not doing data entry would be nice for someone like myself who only does data entry sometimes.

I was doing a version check for BigWigs and I saw the very nice feature that will tell people to update their copy of BigWigs. I was wondering if the scope of that could be increased to tell anyone in the raid who doesn't have it installed to install the mod. At the very least include the people who do not have the mod installed on the list so that it is easy to see who doesn't have it.

That would save me having to try to figure it out through process of elimination: 20/25 people have the mod... who are the 5?

I just wanted to repost this as I didn't see any reply to my question about the version checking and version update notification to raid members.

Awesome. Its showing properly now in the version check.

Would it be possible to increase the scope of the version check to send either a /ra message or whispers to people who need to install or update their version of the mod? That would help in keeping the raid updated, especially when big bugs are fixed.

Tried this out for the first time last night and it looks like a great mod.

My wish for the list is a wait list that doesn't require adding people to a raid. I often just tell my wait list players to go play on an alt or go do dailies now that we can summon into an instance. So of course if they are questing they will not want to be in the raid to be on the wait list.

Would it be possible to add a key word waitlist to this tracker? I think the functionality could be simple, you would just need to cover the basic whisper commands:

    - add
    - remove
    - list (display the list)
    - alt (so the tracker can find people on alts)
    - noalt (when you are no longer on an alt)
    - afk check (send an afk check to the wait list to make sure people are there)

Currently we've been using 2 separate mods for raid tracking and wait list tracking which slows down data entry a bit. If this could be merged into a single mod it would be a great boon for my data admin!

    Thanks.

Edit: doing an "NRT like" check for standby raiders would also work.

    Rabbit,

Had most of the raid update and the large lag spikes seems to be gone for the most part.

Only bug I'm noticing now is that everyone is showing as version 71810 in the check when we all updated to "oRA2-r73843.zip 14-May-2008 14:32 313K"

So something in there needs to be fixed to show the proper version in the version check.

    Thanks again.

Thanks, could you try again now? I think I nailed the issue.

I updated and did a 10 man last night and didn't have any lag issues at all. We have our 25 man raid tonight so I'll see how it handles within the larger group and let you know. That's for the fast reply.

If someone in the raid DCs and comes back in, I get a 3-4 second stutter. If I disable oRA it doesn't happen. I saw someone had posted about this several pages back, but I didn't see a resolution posted.

Could it be caused by these people having older versions? Our guild has to pull teeth to get people to update their mods, but I'm one of those guys who updates almost daily.

My group was having this problem in a big way last night during our Hyjal raid. Any time someone logged in about a quarter of the users would get lag spikes. I had about 5 people uninstall the mod because it was becoming a deal breaker for them. If this is a version compatibility problem I can force everyone to update to the latest build.

I do recall that when I did a version check that one guy was still using a 5XXXX version of oRA2 and about 5 were using 6XXXX. The rest were using something like 72XXX.

    posted a message on Violation
I've been pretty happy with Violation but I noticed a problem with the "in combat" and "out of combat" stuff. I like to reset my damage meters every fight so that I can see specifically what is working damage/heal wise both for me personally as well as for the group. The problem is that when I raid on my Hunter, if I feign death it resets Violation.

Is there a setting or some way to set up Violation so that it can ignore feign death?

Sorry if this has been covered before, I skimmed the thread to see if this was brought up already but didn't see anything.

I think a death counter is useful for showing potential problems with playstyles. It would be up to the player to determine the underlying issue, but to know that Bobthemage dies 20 times a raid while Kylethemage only dies 2 times a raid gives the raid leaders the information they need to correct the situation. Is Bob overly aggressive? Does he need more stamina? Is Kyle too passive? Etc.

Exactly what I was going to say. Raid leaders use damage / heal meters to see who is being effective and dead people aren't effective so tracking deaths us a useful tool. If meleedps1 is dying all the time it is helpful to track it so that it can be dealt with. There is also a nice side effect for catching lazy raiders who forget to repair and suddenly ask for a bot after only a couple deaths.

As for mounts, I added all 5 mounts to my druids bags including regular & epic flight ones. I can see them as well as my travel & epic flight form. Now there is an issue with a reload while in flight form that deletes the castable ones which I will fix. This should clear up the bg / zoning thing as well.

I know I have posted on this before but can we get some fixes to the mount default. When I am in the old world, arenas, battlegrounds it would be nice if my non-flying mount is always the default for those non-flyable areas.

Likewise, if we have an epic flying mount, could it be set as the default in flyable areas and if there is no epic flying mount set the default to 'last selected' like it is now?

If this is resolved with your recent changes, sorry!
