I managed to obtain a couple of logs for Council, and it would appear that Veras casts spell 41476, gains buff 41476, and about 30++ seconds later, sometimes loses buff 41479 which would sort-of explain the issue.

Meaning, Veras Darkshadow never gains 41479 nor loses 41476 according to the combat log which is pretty strange behavior.

I've changed the trigger so that it now schedules a 30 second timer to clear threat on Veras when he first casts Vanish, rather than when the buff fades.

Thank you for still trying, but it still isn't working, the threat on him wasn't wiped a single time when we were doing the encounter. Not that it matters tbh cause usually no one is doing damage to him, but now it got kinda very interesting where could the real problem be.

By the way is it possible for raid assistant to wipe the threat on a particular mob (by specifying name or ID through command line) or is it only the full threat wipe (by doing /omen clear) that's possible currently? Would be a nice addition I think.

When the Vanish occurs, Veras gains a buff, when it fades, that's when the threat wipe should occur.

I can't confirm it now, but I checked a log of some other guild, http://wowwebstats.com/m6snaohyuw2re?s=3871-4115&bl=3871&fia=86&fiaa=a
I used a filter so that it only shows the actions performed by Veras Darkshadow.

I suspect that he only casts Vanish but when he reappears the combat log doesn't say that Vanish faded from him, probably because it isn't a buff (the buff when he is vanished should be called "Stealthed" or something like that no?).
Cause it looks like he "just appears" and Vanish is only his spell, not a buff that he holds when vanished.
Of course it may be that buff fades aren't shown in wowwebstats, but I don't have a true log now :(

I remember a similar situation, not related to Omen but earlier for example Void Reaver's orbs weren't showing up in combat log so boss mods could not work correctly for some time, then later blizzard fixed it in one patch.

If we have a similar situation here, would it be a very bad idea to wipe his threat the moment he vanishes and not when he reappears?

Hi yozas, I have fixed the issue. Vanish should now work to clear threat on Veras Darkshadow. (Well I can't actually go and test it manually though).

Hey :D Thanks for replying, I tested it today and it doesn't work, still the problem looks exactly the same,
my threat on him isn't being wiped.
What can be the problem? Maybe Threat library can't clear threat on NPCs that disappear and it's possible only on those that do something without disappearing?

Oh and another question that was always interesting to me, does everyone have to have the new version for it to work? Or is it enough for one person in raid to have the updated version that can issue the threat wipe on particular mob to everyones Threat-2 library? Does that person need to have raid assist rights for it to work (I had them)?

Hello, I just wanted to report that on Illidari Council fight in Black Temple, the threat on Veras Darkshadow
(who sometimes vanishes) is not being wiped, I remember reading in Threat/Omen changelog earlier that it is,
but I assure you that it isn't, because when he vanishes and reappears, Omen still shows all of mine and
other people threat on him exactly same as it was before vanish.

Similar problem was earlier with Nightbane in Karazhan, the Threat changelog said that now the threat
is wiped when it lands, but unfortunately it wasn't being wiped, then some time later it was fixed properly,
it was some problem with UID/GUID if I remember correctly.

Edit: Oh I found at least one thing in the changelog concerning Nightbane, maybe it is a similar problem with Veras Darkshadow?

Threat-2.0: So umm, I figured out why Nightbane and Solarian weren't resetting threat between phase changes. It's because the module files for them weren't loaded in lib.xml.
