Since oRA2 has no convenient way to set MTs, is there a very very basic mod that can do this? I just want to right-click on a raid frame (or something like this) and set the main tank. None of this manual typing some person's crazy 20 character keysmash. =P
Would love to see this. Currently I've manually added the Gloss texture from agUF into XRS, ORA2, and otravi_CastingBars but don't particularly look forward to doing this every time I update the addons.
That's my issue too. I've been adding "Bantobars" to everything that didn't already have it, but updating every mod each time gets old quickly. :)
I am testing out this mod and liking the simple customization possible. I currently use Perl Unit Frames, which is also very robust.
One thing I immediately miss from Perl is Druid Bar and FiveSec support. Any chance of getting those? In a similar manner to the way Perl handles them? For Druid Bar, you simply get a mana bar while in forms, and with FiveSec, your mana bar turns lighter blue when inside the Five Second Rule.
Question, does it tell you you have aggro even if you aren't targetting the mob that aggros on to you? This is the problem I always have for these mods.
We've had the idea floating about for a while now, and about a week ago, I wrote CarpetSamples. It's not 100% in place, but it provides the basic functionality... I'll have time to write an API doc for it before the end of the weekend so people can start using it.
Excellent. Thanks for the reply. I'm very interested in seeing how this develops. There are so many addons using various bar styles, having one mod to configure them all would be great.
Sorry about posting this in the wrong forum, I didn't even notice there was an ideas and request one. -_-;;
That's not as easy as it sounds. I've considered adding something akin to Defaults.lua where distributors could tweak the settings for all modules - I'll think about it and talk to the others.
This is a pipe dream from a non-developer, but it would be simple to implement and support, so please bear with me. ;)
Last night I was going through my various Ace 2 mods, and a few non-Ace, trying to get all of the bar textures to match. Some of them share similar textures, some do not, some don't have a texture option at all.
It would be cool, to have a single mod with a whole host of bar textures that other mods (at least in the Ace commumnity) could reference for their bar textures. Possibly even a Fubar plugin that the user could select the texture they'd like to use. This would of course be an optional dependency. This would allow users to more easily have a unified looking interface while using an array of addons by different developers.
Unfortunately I have no knowledge of LUA, but I thought I'd throw this idea out there and maybe someone could pick it up. I would think it would be quite easy to implement, both the mod itself and support for it.
*oRA2, oCB, Natur ECB, Perl, XRS, Big Wigs, SW Stats, etc.
I really like this mod. I've been looking for a stand-alone sort of CT Raid Emergency Monitor for a long time. Thank you! :)
I had a couple of suggestions, if you don't mind. :o
The first would be if the "Squishy Emergency" label could hide when the position is locked. I know this isn't a huge issue, but I like a very clean interface.
Second, could there be an option to have the health bar cover then entire width of the window? Usually the players name is less important to me (when using emergency monitor) than how much health they have. Currently the name takes up half the window.
I believe Ammo wants to seperate it out, so that it isn't one big package - instead modular like oRA originally was- before he "releases" it. I could be wrong.
Right... anyways. It's great you guys like wowace, I do to. I can assure you however, that most WoW players are far more familiar with Curse, WoWinterface (the host of wowace), and ui.worldofwar.net. If you think most WoW users are hip on "SVN", you're mistaken.

I think a mouse-over tooltip would immediately resolve this.

Could someone please answer my question now? :)

For developers, yes. For normal users, no. =P

Is this still in beta?
