The icon is inline with a string. unless there is a way to pass TexCoords I can not use it. So for instance "\124T" .. arenaTexture .. ":32:32:2:0\124t". I will switch to the arena texture though. Thanks!

    There are these icons:
    * Interface\PVPFrame\PVP-Currency-Alliance
    * Interface\PVPFrame\PVP-Currency-Horde
both are 32x32 and ready to be used in strings.

posted a message on Wowace packager - auto Alpha packages from SVN branches
    Hi,
I'm currently rewriting HandyNotes_Trainers and HandyNotes_Vendors and I'm doing this on /trunk. Because there were some issues with current release versions I've branched the old version and made small changes on branches.
There is no problem in creating full releases by tagging the branches, but I'd like to know, if the wowace packager can create Alpha version automatically from branches as well (like it does from trunk)

I know that I can tag the revision and add Alpha keyword to create Alpha version manually, but that way I would pollute /tags directory with Alpha releases and it will also increase revision number for each Alpha release (which should be available for each of my commits)

yeah, it's a known problem. it'll work on reload, so i haven't bothered to chase it down. guess that's a bit lazy on my part...

no problem - it only fires once on login. But it fires on every login until the character is taught his first profession - reloadui doesn't fix it.

posted a message on locating random players
I don't know, if it is possible to create OR rules, but if you put two same rules in one who command, it will AND them together.
/who n-a n-b will find all players with A and B in their name.

Take a look at CensusPlus addon, which tries to get list of all online players by generating many /who commands... It starts by dividing the players by levels, then by race, then by class and even when this is not enough (more then 49 results) by player names.

posted a message on locating random players
Yes, there are parameters for Zone, Race, Class, Level, and Player names:
    /who z-zonename r-race c-classname minlevel-maxlevel n-playername

    Examples:
    All warriors in Stormwind: /who z-Stormwind c-Warrior
All highlevel characters in Elwynn Forest: /who z-"Elwynn Forest" 60-80
All humans in Dun Morogh: /who z-"Gun Morogh" r-Human
All players with "warrior" in their name: /who n-warrior

When using names with spaces, don't forget to add quotes.

    Hi lilsparky,
I've encountered another problem with Skillet and its integration with ARL. At first I've reported the problem to ARL thread, because ARL told me so. But when I disabled Skillet the problem has gone away :o

The problem is with Mining/Smelting profession. When using Blizzard_TradeSkillUI it reports Mining in the window title as name of the profession and ARL works fine. But when I'm using Skillet, it reports Smelting to ARL and ARL doesn't know anything about Smelting :(

Can you please fix Skillet to report Smelting as Mining to ARL? Thank you ;)

i think there's a problem in the updating of the filtering display -- that is, the filter button display isn't necessarily in sync with what the actual filtering is doing.

It seemed the filtering was instantaneous - the World Drop recipe was remove the second I clicked the the Filter button. All subfilters were enabled at that time so I expected nothing will be filtered away.

    Quote from lilsparky

"fader" i'm guessing is one of your alts, yeah? indeed it's a work-in-progress. the 3.0 tradeskill links have changed a lot of the internal workings. the theory behind groups based on the toon names is to allow you see known/unknown skills based on the current skill set.

I've used "Fader" grouping on the same Alchemy link I was talking about in the previous Filter problem. Also clicking the player name (when you should see list of Alts) threw some error - player name was displayed in the list but without any submenu.

    Quote from lilsparky

the locks indicate that you can't modify the group info. next to the grouping pulldown there's an operator menu that lets you create custom groups which you could rearrange to whatever you'd like.

Aha! The problem was that the locks were not displayed consistently. When I was using Blizzard Grouping (middle one) the locks were displayed at all 3 base groupings. But when I selected Flat or Fader groupings there was just one lock at the currently selected Grouping style.

    Hi lilsparky,
I'm back playing WoW and I'm happy to see your Skillet clone is still being worked on ;)

I've run into small problem with r156 (tested only on linked Alchemy from another player): There is "Recipe source" filter, but when I click it and even when I have all subfilters turned on, the World Drop recipes are filtered away. Can you please add World Drops to subfilters (preferred) or handle them in some other already existing subfilter?

I'm not sure if this is work in progress (I haven't check this whole thread yet), but the "Fader" Grouping throws me an error:
    Message: ..\AddOns\Skillet\SkilletData.lua line 1866:

BTW: What are those Lock icons in Grouping menu?

posted a message on Ackis Recipe List
    Hi Akcis,
Smelting is not working properly and ARL is telling me to report it (I'm using enGB client):
Ackis Recipe List: You have opened up a trade skill window which is not supported by this add-on. The trade skill is Smelting. Please provide the author of the add-on with this information.

I've tried to look at your code and you are using this to identify Smelting:
    [GetSpellInfo(2575)] = false, -- Smelting

    Problem is /print GetSpellInfo(2575) reports: "Mining", "Apprentice", "Interface\\Icons\\Trade_Mining", 0, false, 0, 3200, 0, 5

    Changing the SpellId to 2656 seems to report proper information for Smelting: /print GetSpellInfo(2656) reports: "Smelting", "", "Interface\\Icons\\Spell_Fire_FlameBlades", 0, false, 0, 0, 0, 0

Where can I get a win32 port of the command-line svn utility? (or is it included with WAU?)

Wow, I've always thought it came with TortoiseSVN :( I see I have some very old version of Subversion (SVN) and need an update....

OK, successfully updated from: http://subversion.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=91 using svn-1.4.6-setup.exe

not sure what kind of message "quest objectives updated" is, but i have a guess...

The user visible message is coming from UI_INFO_MESSAGE event, but there may be some other underlaying events (QUEST_LOG_UPDATE, ...)

the biggest problem is still that damned stop after 2 skill ups.

In the same session with the Poison buying problem reported earlier I've tried to create 4 pieces of Charred Bear Kabobs using Cooking. The recipe was yellow and I've skilled up only with the second item (the skill up was listed before the actual item in combat log). Skillet successfully created 3rd item (without skill up) and then stopped (with one more queued).

Also I encountered the only 2 items created bug when there were no skill ups but it was a quest item showing Quest objectives updated message after each recipe run.
