I have one more bug report (or feature request):

    3) I have installed BugSack without !BugGrabber and it is correctly reported as missing dependency. But when I select the BugSack addon in the list no dependencies are displayed. The problem is the BugSack.TOC file is using RequiredDeps field instead of Dependencies field. I don't know the difference between these 2, but I suspect the RequiredDeps should be displayed in the addon details alongside regular Dependencies.

Thanks for the update. I have two bugs to report:

    1) Each time the new Wowace addons list is downloaded (using Ctrl+W - Install from wowace) the list of missing dependencies is added to the current one instead of replacing the old one. (The list then contains each missing dependency twice, thrice and more...)

    2) When the Backup directory doesn't exist no error is shown and no backups are made. There should be a warning about this ;)

I see you are using FuBar_PerformanceFu. I've had a lag spikes every 10seconds when using this addon. When I disabled reporting addon memory usage in FuBar_PerformanceFu the lag went away.

I'm having the same problem with Quartz, but I suspect it's Quartz's problem and not ToFu's, because I use InFlight.

I'm sorry for the confusion - I'm also using ToFu and I have InFlight disabled.

I made some investigations, (with the use of high technology, based on print(duration) :o )

I can confirm that ToFU is working good....Time to knock some heads on Quartz topic :D

I've tried to make heads and tails of it - ToFu is reporting correct duration and the castbar is created. I'm trying to find out, where in Quartz it is possible to cancel the channeling (I'm using channeling/depletion style for flights).

I've been trying to figure out, how to fix it, but without any luck. From Flight timer addon's sources it seems the UnitOnTaxi API returns false a few moments between accepting the flight and waiting for the Gryphon/... to spawn.

I second this. WUU has become my updater of choice, but there are still a few (like Auctioneer) that I download by hand, simply because editing the WUU download information for the release I want is too taxing for someone who's never had a proper tutorial in regexp.

For me the version checking of Auc-Advanced works fine even with preview versions (Though I'm not updating it using WUU, because I use customized installation). My Source Site is set to Auctioneer and Site ID to AuctioneerAdvancedSuite. I have all other addons in the suite set with Source Site = [Related] and Site ID = Auc-Advanced

I hope this is the right place for feature requests...

Can the player notes have multiline edit box? Having just one line is very limiting :( For the FuBar tooltip I wouldn't mind if it would display just the first line from the note.

    Thanks.

    1.7.545 beta (2008.04.01):
    * Feature: Added automatic dependency resolving

The automatic dependency resolving will run after regular version checks and updates, and currently only works with WoWAce. It can't be turned off yet, but has a Yes/No dialog, so no addons are installed without your consent ;)

I've updated to the new version and it showed me 5 missing dependencies... I don't have any problems with my current setup, but I have many addons disabled and this dependencies could be coming from these addons.

    I) My feature request is: Can the dialog also report which addons need the missing dependencies?

II) I'll add another feature request/idea: Can the Deps, OptDeps, Used by, OptUsed by, ... be links instead of simple texts? Clicking the link name there would select the addon in the list.

Great update by the way - I like the new Edit dialog ;)

How can you set this up auto magically with Tortoise?

I don't know about auto, but to do manual SVN update without externals use the TortoiseSVN > Update to revision... dialog and check the Omit externals checkbox.

Hi, I love Skillet but I'm getting curios about Skillet's updates. There are still open issues with current version and there is lilsparky's branched version with many new great ideas.

I hope for better future of Skillet because it's the best Tradeskill addon available.

I noticed that about load times, the XML would take a good 30s-2m to load in Sage. Not gonna look back, especially also since the SVN method of getting the top level of the entire trunk allows me to filter out all the /branches/ updates that would show up in the XML. :) I definitely was able to figure out what needed updating faster than I have in the past.

There is one small problem with this SVN method: It is too fast :-P

The SVN log shows changes moment they are committed to wowace, but you can download updated addon packages only after a delay of about 20-60mins (in case of higher server loads it can be more). You can check the latest available revision using http://files.wowace.com/ERRORS.txt - the latest revision number is shown right after the list of updated files.

To be able to download HandyNotes you need to have SVN client. If you don't understand SVN just use WUU which can download it flawlessly for you with using the SVN client in the background.

To install HandyNotes (manually or using WUU) use these URLs:
http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/branches/HandyNotes/Ace3/ - core addon; required for others
http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/branches/HandyNotes_Directions/Ace3/ - POIs (places you ask the guards for)
http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/branches/HandyNotes_FlightMasters/Ace3/ - simple flightmap (flight masters and lines connecting them)
http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/branches/HandyNotes_Mailboxes/Ace3/ - Mailboxes (automatically added when opening the mailbox)
    http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/branches/HandyNotes_Stables/Ace3/ - Stables (automatically added...)

Hi, HandyNotes are still in branches and in ?beta? state but I'm already using it without any problems. Just two notes:

    1) HandyNotes are missing official thread to report problems and suggestions :)
    2) HandyNotes_FlightMasters is missing the Mudsprocket Flightmaster (added in 2.3)

ck, if you can ever find the time to get back into mods, please make this one the first!

ck is currently working very hard on mods - rewriting DogTags library for Pitbull, CowTip and other addons. This has priority, because this will fix many addons and not just one addon - Parrot.

I go back to what I suggested in the very beginning: Track use value.

How would you track that? Also I have a few favorite but currently broken addons in my installation just hoping for an update in the future (for example: Parrot 1.0).

I suppose the best course of action would be to remove addons which are reported as broken and their author is nowhere to be found to update them.
