Nice mod... would it be possible to add a filter/toggle for the join/part messages for channels?

    Thanks!

Any crashing is Blizzard's fault, imho, not PitBull's. It's supposed to be fixed in 2.1.2, I believe.

yes it is. and despite blizz claiming, 2.1.2 did NOT fix the problem.

    2.1.2 isn't out yet :p

What just hit live is 2.1.1

posted a message on Pitbull Raid Performance Issue
Just to try a different approach... is there anyone out there actually raiding SSC or TK with Pitbull installed and the Aura module enabled and NOT getting framerate hiccups during raid swaps/quits/joins or after combat ends? I mention SSC and TK specifically as everyone I know that's running pitbull is having very clear and obvious issues with the Auras module enabled in these 25 man instances... I don't remember having issues quite this bad in Karazhan.

If so, are you using the WAU or manual install? Standalone or embedded libraries?

While just about everyone I know that's running Pitbull has to turn off the Aura module to get through most boss fights, given the lack of any response to this issue I have to wonder if we're just a minority here...

Is there anything we can do to help isolate what the issue is here to try to get it fixed?

While using PitBull in 25-man Raid I got since 2.1 lags every 3-4 seconds from "hiccups" up to 2seconds.
I've disabled all other AddOns except PitBull and the modules I use, no change on this..

FWIW I just want to add another voice to this. Since 2.1, I notice these short pauses alot but particularly in boss fights. Last night on Vashj and tonight on Al'ar I've noticed small hurks throughout the fight and bigger ones for particular events (such as having a flame patch appear under you on al'ar will pretty much freeze you for 1-2 seconds). Turning the Aura and Barfader modules completely off eliminates most of these hurks although there's still a bit of a pause at the end of combat. There is also a bit of a "hurk" anytime people are moved around raid groups or join/leave the raid but these are done away with by turning off auras and barfader.

I've noticed that immediately after an "getting out of combat" freeze in particular that there is a spike in pitbull cpu utilization (at least according to PerformanceFu... if you are mousing over it when you go out of combat you can see the utilization for a split second as you come out of the freeze). Although I have also noticed some jumped for "Ace2" so there are probably other things complicating this but given the very noticeable difference with tuggling auras/barfader on and off, I figured it was worth pointing out here. I'm running with standalone libraries.

Thanks for the hardwork, this is a great unit frame mod!

Really, any range checker needs to let you pick the range you want to check for. As a priest, there are scenarios where you want 30 yards over 40 yards and vice versa (for ae healing or curing as opposed to the usual patch healing).

sRaidframes has a really elegant approach that I'd love to see adopted for aguf somehow... you basically have a range slider and the mod parses the range of all the spells in your spellbook to determine which spell would be the best indicator to use and handles it all automagically.

    aUF_RangeCheck should be working again.

    Thank you!

Would it be possible to put the spell selection part on the command line or in a menu? Basically, it would be nice to tell the mod to use a different spell for range checking... for example, I'd set it to use Dispel Magic instead of Flash Heal when I wanted a 30 yard range check instead of the default 40 yards.

Any chance that Sairen or someone could update his aguf_RangeCheck addon? Or perhaps get this functionality built into aguf?

While I prefer the look and feel of aguf over sraidframes, I find myself using the latter more solely because of having the unitframes fade out when someone is out of range. Particularly since you can set the range for the fade out on the fly... so as a priest I tend to run around with it set at 40 yards for general healing and then shorten the range to 30 yards for fights where I need to know if I have enough party members in range for Prayer of Healing (particularly handy for Sapphiron and KT). But even if the range was static, it would be a real boon to raiding healers.

While I'm here... it would also be great to get some more configurability for debuff highlighting... I noticed that each debuff type has it's own colors but the default yellow for disease doesn't turn out that well against green health bars especially since it's pretty similar to the selection highlight. So the ability to tweak the debuff highlight colors (and perhaps alpha level) would be nice. If you really want to get fancy, some options to use the unitframe border would be nifty too if that's possible (If I had my druthers, I'd run with transparent borders normally that light up red or whatever for a debuffed unit).

<Insert obligatory thanks for the hard work on these frames... they've come a long way since Minigroups!>
