If I'm not mistaken, all of those addons make their own tooltips using GameTooltipTemplate.

Auctioneer does for sure and it looks like that officially goes beyond my typical "tinkering". That's fine, Auctioneer isn't something I consider important for the aesthetical aspect of the UI. I can't find that in QuestGuru or SLDT however, and those two are the important ones.

Again, thanks for the help guys.

Ok sorry, didn't explain well, Quest Guru Quest Tracker does replace the quest tracker with a frame. It is not in itself a tooltip, but the tooltips it creates when mousing over the quests displayed on it are the ones in question. The frame itself also has a border that isn't getting skinned, but I'm more focused on the tooltips right now.

One more bit, Skinner will not touch the addons at issue (not supported addons) but Tiptac will skin all the SLDT module tooltips but the Guild and Friends and neither seem to be doing anything for QGQT. The Auctioneer addon I could care less about since it's just on my bank alt, but I guess if I can figure out the problem with one it might fix them all.

So I've got my UI all set up with one exception. It seems that a handful of tooltips don't want to play nice. I use Skinner and TipTac and there doesn't seem to be a problem there but QuestGuru Quest Tracker, SLDT Guild and Friends plugin and Auctioneers Informant all seem to want to use the default border. I've created my Interface\Tooltips\UI-Tooltip-Border .tga with the border I want, Skinner has got 90% of the Addon and UI tooltips skinned properly and I managed to find SLDT's tooltip border and replace it with the one I wanted. So any ideas as to why these select addons are missing out? Thanks for the help.

That means that "OmenBarFrame" isn't the correct frame name. I do most of my forum posting from work, not home, so I can't check, but it should be fairly trivial to get the correct name of the frame, either printing the result of GetMouseFocus():GetName() or looking in Omen.lua.

Yeah so I'm dumb for not trying that (already had the frame finding macro ready from something else). The right name is "OmenBarList". Thanks for all the help, it worked like a charm.

    Not clickable:

    Clickable:

Thanks guys but I can't seem to get it to work, keep getting:

First off, thanks for all the hard work. Secondly, feature request, sorry if it's been addressed:

Is there any way to make the omen window unclickable when you lock it? I like to have the window in the middle of my screen when I'm tanking, but I use mouse clicking to turn my toon. If I click on the omen window, i get a "dead zone" which keeps me from moving. This is annoying in the middle of a fight. Thank you.

So no errors for me and the functionality of DaHUD is IMO the best out there. My problem is that I want ArcHUD's rings with DaHUD's framework. I know it's been said that it is possible to do this and DaHUD is setup to support this, but I'm trying to determine if the task is beyond me (being a lua idiot) or if there is an easy way to rip off ArcHUD's code and put it somewhere in DaHUD. Is the only option to rescript ArcHUD's rings into an addon that DaHUD can access (beyond me), or am I missing something easier.

What's going on with this mod? It's such a great looking HUD and is a real shame if it's not being developed anymore. I'm pretty new to addons and don't know how to do it myself, but if some kind soul could pick this up, it would be hugely appreciated. The HUD selections out there are a little limited (I've tried them all), and Archud could be awesome with a little work. If no one wants to pick it up, could someone at least message me with any solutions on how to move the texts. Thanks.

posted a message on Chatter- Ace3 chat mod (was Chatterbox)
I really love this mod as it is a good balance between the oversized Prat and the underfeatured ChatMod. One problem, and I think I read something else about this on this thread, but when I right justify a frame, all the links stop working. This seemed to be a problem with Prat too and is why I tried Chatter. Is there a fix for this or am I being dense?

ver 68549, Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but justifying a frame to the center or right is disabling the player and item links. Is this a known thing, bug, or am I dumb?
