    Can you make it show only "Omen" instead of "Omen3"?
    Maybe make it optional by setting Omen as Addon Text and 3 as Suffix?

    posted a message on WoW Matrix?
    In addition, we will be linking to the project
    page of each AddOn in the software (but not on
    our website, to prevent visitor confusion since
    we do not host any AddOns).

    At the same time, this allows all end-users who
    use WowMatrix to directly reach each AddOn's
    project page if they wish to obtain support and
    provide feedback.
    summary:

    We add authors and links, so authors don't keep telling us to remove their addons (which would make our updater useless),
    but we still make money with leeching bandwith from other sites.
    P.S.: In addition this will keep those stupid support questions out of our mailbox...

    posted a message on WTF just happened?
    Tbh Users like you made it necessary to do the change....
    those not caring about anything but their own lazy ass.

    Because people thinking every knew .xx version meant they had to update their addons,
    those using a free service and whining as soon as it doesn't work the way they knew it anymore.

    Yes, I'm not an author myself, but I donate, I help with translations when possible, I give feedback.
    Yes, I dislike the Curse Client as it is right now, but I care enough to write a wall of text with my opinion, so the devs know what the people feel about their product.

    And switching the language to German - a language only a fraction of the people here can understand - is quite rude imho.

    Great feedback, go on, continue.

    Valid opinion atm imho... although you are right that his contribution lacked the means to identify a possible bug (be it CC or user based ;)

    Some points I dislike atm:

    1. No option to download without externals (yeah, yeah, it's been worked on, but it should have been ready as soon as the only other possibility to do so stopped working)

    2. Addons get "updated" to medieval versions (may be a bug, but should not occure if you shut out alternatives)

    3. Curse Profiler Addon is installed without user permission (wtf? that's just like Apples iTunes when you install QuickTime or IE in Windows. Even with those stupid browser toolbars you can uncheck them in the installation process. I as a user don't want it, so make it optional especially if you consider to let me pay money for a part of the updater's features)

    4. Overview shows old/new dates instead of versions
    (tbh I don't care when those addons where uploaded, but which version they are, others may want dates, so either add both or make columns optional)

    5. It's an updater, why would I want news in it? Tbh I don't think the majority of the updater's users is interested in Curse at all, I understand that it is Curse's goal to add the wowace users to their member base, but tbh their portal is the ugliest and most userunfriendly game portal I know. It should be the user's choice if he wants the news or not.

    6. Why does it only have a stupid menu bar to configure? As soon as there are more options (like disembedding somewhen...) it will get more and more confusing.

    For a step forward this updater is a bit sloppy imho,
    even WAU had more features and I would want an ancestor to have at least comparable features and not only the most basic ones.

    There were already way better updaters when WAU was still developed,
    WUU can handle a lot of different addon pages,
    JWU was very userfriendly, yet pretty customisable,
    wowmatrix is pro in adding the addon author's work to their site, :rolleyes:
    netherpanel was pretty stylish and had a nice dependecy overview.

    CC has like no features right now besides plain updating...

    I donated for JWU, but tbh I don't even consider paying for premium membership right now, maybe I'll even switch to addons from different pages or finally start writing my own ;)

    Melikae, love that compass bar...what addon is that?

    Also, the nameplates are good and clean, what are those?

    What do u mean by "compass bar"?
    If you mean the Location text it's CRT, as is the clock.

    The nameplates are indeed those listed on Vranx Page,
    uploaded them on rapidshare here (if anybody has any problems with me republishing his/her files pls send me a PM and they will be deleted...)

    Redid my Interface as somehow my SavedVariables got lost...
    decided to not redo the boxes I had for chat and omen/recount,
    but use the widely used gradiant background instead...
    (old shot: http://www.abload.de/img/2008-09-094z6.jpg)

    The fonts are mostly Calibri, somehow CRT isn't accepting any changes to font,
    gonna look into the code as soon as my exam is done on Monday

    Same goes for PowerDisplay, as I'm not sure if I keep it at all I'm not gonna put too much effort into it, yet.
    Just gonna test it in raid to see if it is of any use for me ;)

    Resizing panels for buffs and raidgroups will be tested next week, gonna use the same "style" as for the chatboxes

    One shot on my Pally AoE farming Runecloth and a solo shot on my lock,
    raidshots will follow soon :cool:

    P.S.: Tootlip is only shown for demonstration purpose,
    and I'm not sure how I'll position clock and coordinates, yet,
    don't really like the positions right now,
    but don's see any alternative atm as I don't want them in the Broker bar,
    maybe I make another small broker bar above the minimap...
    And I just saw that Dominos isn't really centered, gonna change that of course...

    P.P.S.: Omg, the forum only allows 5 images including smilies...
    I normally use more smilies every post oO

    Actual feedback: The font on the unitframes and Recount doesn't match the font used everywhere else, and why do you need such gargantuan raid frames as a warlock?

    Yeah, switched fonts around a lot lately and didn't match all, yet.
    Any suggestions for a simple, not too angular font?

    And for the raidframes.... I wanted them to be as wide as the minimap,
    if u do it like Caith (3/4 of minimap width and names outside of the bar) it looks odd,
    if u try to make the bars small enough to fit bar and name into the ~160 px it get's too small...

    As for Grid or similar I don't really know where to put it as it has stupid dimensions,
    as soon as I get a 24" widescreen I could put it where Recount/Omen is now and divide those to both sides,
    but until then the only possibility would be to make the whole right side smaller,
    gonna see how that looks and if I can still recognize anything on the minimap.

    Never had anything else than Logitech mice,
    A ~5? wired one first, then
    Mouseman Dual Optical
    MX 900 (which broke and got subbed within days)
    MX 1000
    MX Revolution

    As for keyboards, I had noname keybords most of the time,
    a cheap one from Trust and now a Logitech as well,
    never had any problems with any of them.

    For new ones I'd love the Razer Boomslang and a G15 (or even a diNovo Edge *drool*) but atm I'm a poor student and need a new PC first (XP3200+ and X800 are getting a bit slow nowadays)

    Just switched FuBar with Fortress, Chatter with PhanxChat and ChatTimeStamps,
    gonna switch PitBull and Chincilla somewhen later as soon as my exams are done...

    P.S.: In this screen it's still Chatter, gonna make a new one when killing Illilol tonight,
    and the colored addon texts in Fortress (AuldLangSyne / buggy StatsBlock_Money) are changed to white already as well.

    local rmems = GetNumRaidMembers()

    self:Hide()

    if (rmems > 0 and rmems < 11) then
    self:SetWidth(15)
    self:Show()
    end

    if (rmems > 0 and rmems < 26) then
    self:SetWidth(278)
    self:Show()
    end

    if (rmems > 0 and rmems < 41) then
    self:SetWidth(398)
    self:Show()
    end

    The last if statement will always be true as there are always between 1 and 40 members in your raid,
    same with the middle one until there are 26 people...
    Therefore it will set your panel to 398 no matter how many members the raid has.

    If the rest is right it should work like this:

    local rmems = GetNumRaidMembers()

    self:Hide()

    if (rmems > 0 and rmems < 11) then
      self:SetWidth(15)
      self:Show()
    end

    if (rmems > 10 and rmems < 26) then
      self:SetWidth(278)
      self:Show()
    end

    if (rmems > 25 and rmems < 41) then
      self:SetWidth(398)
      self:Show()
    end

    As all those subfolders are no externals (only those in the "lib" folder are) it has nothing to do wiht the no-ext option.
    You have to disable "Split addons with present filelist.wau" as this let's the updater pull out all modules.

    Really, really great updater :)

    Two things would make it perfect, though:

    1. Dependency overview

    2. A possibility to override automatic updating of Wowace mods to download them from another source (like the fixed SorrensTimers from WoWInt)

    ?: 3. A possibility to add SVN details for non WoWAce Addons would be pro ;)
