    Thanks for the reports.

    However I remind everyone that if you want a (mostly) smooth Coconuts experience not to use the version here. WowAce is for beta versions, and right now Coconuts is very beta. I definitely appreciate those of you who are willing to run the beta version to help me find stuff I miss though.

    For the time being if the beta version does not detect any mounts on login, reload your UI (usually /rl). It should after that. Thought I had that resolved (that's why I checked it in) but obviously not lol

    I do have something planned for battlegrounds etc (if you set a zone favorite while in an unknown zone it will work as is but won't show up in the list, this will be fixed soon), I am working on 2.5 which will have all the WotLK stuff in it. I don't have beta access ATM so I can't test it there, but it will still work with the current mount database on the live servers. :) The dialogs for Favorites and Zone Favorites are being redone with WotLK in mind (they will have a drop down with all your mounts), Favorites will let you set percentages between 0 and 500% inclusive as to how often you want a mount to be picked, and Zone Favorites will be divided up between the different speeds (so you can have a favorite flying and a different ground mount set for zones that allow flying).

    The version is is BETA, and is always at least as new as the official releases on WoWInterface.

    I just uploaded a version that should fix that error as well as ads aquatic form :)

    I was originally against this, but then thought it would be useful if quests could do special things on certain events.

    I'm working on it (as well as some "getting ready for WotLK changes"), but can tell you right now it will require you to install ClosetGnome to work.

    If you have Outfitter, you can make a new outfit and then give it this script:

    -- $EVENTS ZONE_CHANGED_INDOORS ZONE_CHANGED ZONE_CHANGED_NEW_AREA QUEST_LOG_UPDATE
    -- $DESC Equips the outfit when you are in one of the zones or minimap sub-zones listed below and "The Multiphase Survey" is not already complete

    -- $SETTING zoneList={Type="ZoneList", Label="Zones"}
    -- $SETTING minimapZoneList={Type="ZoneList", ZoneType="MinimapZone", Label="Minimap zones"}

    local currentZone = GetZoneText()
    local Baldrick = Baldrick

    for _, zoneName in ipairs(setting.zoneList) do
      if zoneName == currentZone then
        equip = ( Baldrick ~= nil ) and Baldrick.HasQuestAndNotComplete( 11880 )
        break
      end
    end

    if not equip then
      currentZone = GetMinimapZoneText()
      for _, zoneName in ipairs(setting.minimapZoneList) do
        if zoneName == currentZone then
          equip = ( Baldrick ~= nil ) and Baldrick.HasQuestAndNotComplete( 11880 )
          break
        end
      end
    end

    if didEquip and equip == nil then
      equip = false
    end

    Then set Minimap zones under the script settings to be either just your localized name for "Spirit Fields" or both that and "Nagrand", and put the Multiphase Spectrographic Goggles into your head slot for that outfit and unequip it. Outfitter will automatically equip the goggles whenever you're in the right subzones, and will unequip them if you leave that subzone or complete the quest.

    I'll have a version uploaded tonight that will have this option. :)

    Edit: Didn't get it tested the other night, I'll try for tonight. Also added the ability to do travel forms and hunter aspects.

    Getting this:

    [2008/07/13 21:18:40-687-x1]: Baldrick-1.0\Baldrick.lua:40: Baldrick requires LibSpecialEvents-Mount-4.0
    Baldrick-1.0\Baldrick.lua:40: in main chunk

    ---

    Updating without externals, automatic dependency download.

    I am looking into this. I run without externals myself and it works, however I use WUU to do the downloading. Tonight I will install WAU on a machine and try. LibSpecialEvents-Mount-4.0 is part of LibLordFarlander-2.0, and should be getting installed as part of that which is a dependency of Baldrick.

    interested in this as it would save me having to make so many individual macros. two things i would like to know...

    -are there still plans to include druid and shaman travel forms? one good way to go about this is to make the button use those forms when in combat and also with a click modifier.
    -could you also make the addon automatically create a macro that has the same functionality as the Coconuts buttons? that way the user could place the button on one of their action bars if they wanted.

    1) There are plans but as to how I haven't decided :-/
    2) Um, maybe. Hadn't thought of it but would be possible. What it would have to do is create a macro with the mounts that it chose. I'm not sure how useful this is overall though. I have been interested in using LibDataBroker-1.1 though, to allow the user to hide the button and have whatever LibDataBroker server they have show the info (but AFAIK that wouldn't be clickable, only a bound key would work then).

    Know Your Ley Lines should be working now, I'll have to double check that tonight and make sure.
    For Disrupt the Greengill Coast, Baldrick wants you to show your intention to do it by targeting a murloc. :) It ended up that way because I wasn't sure which it should check first, so I added the "show your intention" part. I may change it, but it's one of the things I'm documenting for the release.

    I've been using it for a couple days now and it seems really useful, except that it doesn't work consistently for me. Here are some of the problems I have:

    1. The Multiphase survey - the button goes away after the first reading is taken.
    2. Fires over Skettis - the button does not appear

    I tend to hide my interface for the Ogri'La and Dead Scar bombing runs, so I can't say whether or not the mod works there.

    The latest version should fix those two quests and others like them, as well as show their cooldowns properly

    Limitation of the addon system. "Using" items in the secure UI is the same action that one uses in a back to quick sell to the vendor (right clicking). :(

    Thanks, should be fixed tonight. Also in the version I will be checking in tonight is an addition so that Coconuts will not suggest mounts that the player does not have the riding skill to use. :)

    Hi,

    the last 2 versions from coconuts gave me that error :

    ..\AddOns\Coconuts\Coconuts.lua line 639:
    attempt to index global 'MiniPet' (a nil value)

    I don't have the addon minipet, must i ?

    Thanks, I've just checked in a fix. That the danger of copy & pasting code *blush*
    I also checked in a fix last night for Macs, the embeds.xml said CallBackHandler-1.0 when the directory is actually CallbackHandler-1.0.

    Thanks. Revision 77665 fixes this problem for good I hope. It also has improvements to the favorite lists and has fading options. :)

    The externals should all be fixed and Baldrick should be stable. If anyone has any more problems please contribute them :)

    Sorry for not responding sooner, I'm supposed to be watching this thread but I'm not getting notified when someone replies... Ah setting I didn't notice before. Sorry about that.

    Looking at IHML, it may be used for the same thing, however Baldrick removes the need for macros for every daily quest. It even knows not to suggest the Astromancer's Crystal if you're in The Dawning Square and have already taken the Portal's readings for the quest Know Your Ley Lines, for example. It will not suggest an item for a quest if you've already completed it. :) IMO IHML is better used for other things.

    I plan on releasing 1.0 final when I'm satisfied the UI elements are working correctly (there is a problem where my addon buttons won't stick to each other I need to resolve), the quests are correct (going to test on the PTR tonight with Brewfest) and when my fiancee makes a button image with Baldrick from Blackadder in it lol
