A lot of the regulars are getting very tired of reiterating the same replies. I'm sure you can understand that.

Yes, I can. At at the same time, people developed these mods and released them to the public and as long as you keep providing them to the public you are going to have to deal with annoying things like answering the same question 9999999 times.

Since I am making a rare post, I would also like to say that I am very grateful for everything you guys are doing. Its essentially volunteer work, and it is not the most rewarding, but there are a ton of us out here who appreciate your efforts.

posted a message on Battleground / Trade chat filters with custom keyword entry...
Hey folks. After getting a 3 hour ban for putting some jerk in his place (or so i thought), i went on a search to find a way to block these people out so I am not reduced to their level again! I stumbled across a mod called duct tape.

    http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9052-DuctTape.html

As you can see it is no longer maintained... which is a shame because it works great (with some flaws I will mention later)

This mod filters out anything said in /bg that is not relevant to the battleground by checking to see if the message contains defined keywords (i.e. Ramp, Stables, Mage Tower, you get the idea) It works well... almost too well. There is supposed to be a way to add keywords to your safe list by using a slash command (/dtape "add/remove" "battleground "word"). The problem is that the /add command will only work for warsong gulch and no other battleground.

There is a similar addon that works for the trade channel called "Assintrade" ( http://wowace.com/wiki/ASSinTrade )This mod is awesome... again.. the only problem is that it currently lacks the ability to add custom keywords.

These addons are great for people who get tired of dealing with the mind numbingly immature banter that goes on inside two potentially useful channels and they have a lot of potential if they could get a little fixing up. Is anyone up to the task of making a mod that does this? If there one out there that i just cant find?

    Please let me know!

posted a message on Bartender3 - Action Bar AddOn for WoW 2.0
    Hello everyone.

I recently updated Bartender3 to r36518. After doing so, my buttons have become locked. The only way to change the contents is to drag a spell from my spellbook or an Item from my bags, I cannot shift-click a spell and drag it off of my bar.

I turned off the Button Lock feature and that did not fix it. What am I doing wrong this time?
