posted a message on !!!Libs fix
    -

i posted this thread b/c i was playing around w/ some code in ag_UF and when i reloaded ui none of my ace2 addons were working. bugsack listed an odd error. i finally realized ag_UF was loading before !!!Libs folder, but as everyone else i couldn't figure out why. then i noticed in the addons listing ag_Unitframes was above AIO Library Package, and i started thinking that had something to do with it. so just to test, i changed the title to !!!libs, reloaded my ui. everything worked and bugsack listed the correct error pertaining to ag_UF that i just messed up.

the thing about sct i dont like IS the annimation system. when text is flowing fast, they start overlaping etc making it stupid imposible to read. i just like msbt animation system is simple and easy to read when shit hits the fan.

and when you have sctd you cant put any of sct messages in the sctd frame.

Edit: but i really like the powergain system in sct over msbt =(

Minigroup2, the precursor to ag_UnitFrames. Originally developed by Kaitlin back in the day and picked up by andreasg, with a few nifty additions by Sarien in his/her branch. I dont think Kaitlin's site is currently active, but I'm sure you can find it floating somewhere the interweb.

Minigroup1 was by Kaitlin, picked up by couple ppl, including Anderasg.
Minigroup2 was by Andreasg rewriting/converting the beloved UF to Ace library.
ag_UnitFrames is the third genereation using deuce and all its goodness.

it seems !!!Libs isn't loading before some mods like ag_UnitFrames, really anything before AIO

i fixed it by changing the TOC

    ##Title: AIO Library pakage

    to
    ##Title: !!!Libs

Hmmm come to think of it, aguf should go modular ;p

Say if you want potraits, write a module to add that, etc.

Yes, maybe in the future it will be possible to remove certian features by deleting one of the lua files, but I dislike addons split into 10 folders. And another thing is that the code for adding portraits is so small (and the frames are created on demand) that it doesn't really matter that much. If I were to do this, it would probably be for bigger features.

Some might suggest that raid should be modular, and we've been over this before. There is very little raid specific code. The code that controls the raids groups is shared with the code for the party group. ag_UnitFrames was written from the start to share code among as many things as possible.

but it ignores updating the raid frames if they are hidden right?

I was reading through this thread, just checking out what stuff people were using, and I came across a screenshot of someone with an addon that was either a plugin for, or something similiar to, PerfectTargets. It had aggregate information like 'x number of people targeting MT's target' and 'x number of people targeting anything', etc. Now, for the life of me, I can't find that screenshot. Does anyone know what addon I'm talking about, and can they tell me what it's called/where to get it?

    Quote from Urban »

It is called PerfectTargets and you can download it here.

I don't think it's PerfectTargets, or otherwise it's some undocumented feature that I'm unaware of (or perhaps a different version than the most current?). If it is, can someone tell me how to enable that aggregate display in addition to the list of targets?

I wish I could find that damn screenshot...

TinyTip can tell that info in unit tips.

was it an aced mod you're thinking of?
if not possibly could be SmartAssist

its not ace2. but you could probably use visor to move/rearange the buffs as you wish. otherwise, no ace2 mod is available, to my knowladge, to do what you're asking.

    Elp, its called Forecast.

    1) its pritty inefiecent mod.
    2) every healer has to have it to make it useful. (anyone else can have it too if they wanna see incoming on themselves - you can hide incoming on target)
    3) Healsync is much better coded then forecast. but it is lacking in useability (forced minimap button and location, no graphical settings, bars are too long, doesn't show instants, and i dont like the way it shows canceled spells) =(
i'd like to see healsync converted to ace2, w/ candybars and some options. then it would f'ing perfect.

I have a problem with disappearing bars once I log out and back in. They seem to be gone out of the visible area (neither /cdt anchor does show anything nor /cdt test). It doesn't seem to save the correct positions (or doesn't position them correctly on log in).

I have the same problem with Chronometer.

have you tried running it w/o any other mods installed? are you using 2.11?
and do you use !!!Libraries? if so i'd disable it, or update it to the renamed version !!!Libs
it was causing problems w/ candybars. but that doesn't explain why the bars are moving around. just sounds like you have some old libs floating around.

also did you use CooldownTimers v1xx? i don't know if it has SaveVariable problems with the old one. i know they use the same folder

I just installed the latest version today to try it out, and as a rogue I hit Sprint. The timer bar was for 5 minutes instead of 5 seconds? The sprint effect had long worn off while the timer bar was still on screen and counting down for another 5 mins.

bugme your talking about how long the effect lasts. not the cooldown. if you want timer bars for that look into getting Chronometer. tho the effect of sprint lasts 12sec not 5sec =O

if you have any experiance in programing c/java/lua it shouldn't be too hard.
otherwise your pritty much outa luck.

i've actually done alot of customizing of oUF for my own purposes. i did do the buffs like yours, but nothing else really similar.

as of 12753 commit adding the autoattack code, seems like i cant clean myself without a target. i've not tested extensively but

    1) i was solo
    2) i wouldn't clean when i had nothing targeted
    3) worked fine once i targeted a mob or myself.

nice addon, the only thing i miss is non-fadeble-sticky-chat-tab.

i've been looking for something to do that =)

    another request:
i would like to see vChat have an option to remove all the tags, changing them from [name] to <name> just doesn't work for me.
    ie:
    [11:30PM][Raid][Iorri]: [Widow's Embrace] 30 min bid now.
    to
    11:30PM R. Iorri: Widow's Embrace 30 min bid now.

use the oskin texture and viewport instead of DFM and ct_viewport
use oUF (w/ some layout edits i made in the lua) instead of DUF
and i use simpleMinimap instead of DFM
