Aug 10, 2009for the "tomQuest2-3.2 beta\tagQuestLog.lua:45: attempt to concatenate field '?' (a nil value)" bug it's due to a change in the raid tags, they have added Raid (10), Raid (25), Raid (40) tags Maybe we also have 10 and 25 heroïc difficulty tags.Posted in: General AddOns
Aug 10, 2009Posted in: General AddOnsQuote from PontusMI think there is a problem with the "auto untrack" feature. It does not seem to work as I expected. I have setup tomQuest to auto track on objective progress and auto untrack inactive quests after 5 minutes.
When I kill a quest mob the quest turns up in the tracker correctly. Then I wait 5 minutes but the quest does not disappear. Shouldn't it untrack the quest after the delay has passed?
It should, I'll have to do some tests locally. r183 and beyond had lots of change so it's not a suprise a few things are not working perfectly :)
Aug 5, 2009Is there a possibility to have access to a beta (or alpha) of the curse client 4. I tried to install a few addon through the curse client 3 and lots of library were deleted after that :( (using disembeded and alpha)Posted in: Updaters
Aug 5, 2009Posted in: General AddOnsQuote from SkylineeNice, i never thought tomQuest2 was that cpu heavy, though i never profiled it either.
It was not really heavy but it should now be better. and doing some profiling on PTR helped me find that not setting the charges on the new item buttons on the tracker would result on an update of the blizz watchframe every frame... (3.2 only)
Aug 5, 2009current release is mostly 3.2 compatible, I'll release shortly (this week hopefully) a new release that is fully 3.2 compatible and also add some enhancements like:Posted in: General AddOns
- enhance CPU usage greatly
- full 3.2 compatibility (will only work in 3.2)
- Daily quest ldb object will now show the daily quests completed today in it's own tooltip
- Button Facade support for quests items in the tracker.
- Remove MobMap and Cartographer Quest Info support as bliz default interface is now doing most of what they did (if needed I might add them back to a separate module)
Jul 29, 2009In tomQuest2 I have two LDB objects in two modules, the creation of those objects is done when the module is enabled. Do I have a way to remove those objects when disabling those modules?Posted in: Data Broker AddOns
Jul 28, 2009Posted in: General AddOnsQuote from X-buZZGagou,
now that TomQuest is looking great now for me, may i ask you about the functional features i had requested some time ago:
Especially point 2 (hide objectives until they are refreshed) is very important for me and will be the final step for me to finally switch to TomQuest2 from nQuestlog. :)
I'm currently rewriting parts of tomQuest2 to improve performance. This is taking some time and until I've finished it I do not plan to add new features. But once I've finished this task I'll start implementing what I can.
everything but the following request should be 'easy' to implement:
an option to align the number of completed objectives left of the objectives and not in a seperate column
Jul 25, 2009There is a change in the OnUpdate function associated with "WatchFrameItemButtonTemplate" it's now necessary to store the number of charge in the button (button.charges) otherwise the OnUpdate will call WatchFrame_Update() for each frame...Posted in: General Chat
Jul 23, 2009Posted in: General AddOnsQuote from CraxzizI had the same issue with the trackers and Skinner. After some fiddling around I managed to solve it by removing the LibQTip file from Skinner's skinme directory. Not ideal as it means any other LibQTip generated tooltips aren't skinned, but it does mean that the display setting for tomQuest's trackers are how I want them.
If you'd like to skin other LibQTip tooltip then you'd need to ask the author of skinner to exclude the two following keys when he iterate over the tooltips generated by LibQTip:
Jul 18, 2009Posted in: General AddOnsQuote from Gabriellatest version onload bug:
I do not have dailytooltips enabled.
[2009/07/18 02:56:55-2924-x1]: TomQuest2-r177\dailyTooltip.lua:314: attempt to index upvalue 'dataobj' (a nil value)
TomQuest2-r177\dailyTooltip.lua:293: in function <Interface\AddOns\TomQuest2\dailyTooltip.lua:289>
should be fixed in r178 :)
