In the same vein of repair bots and portals, I'd like to renew the request for Fish Feast, Soulwell, and Refreshment Table for the updated BWCA. I've been adding them locally for a while now :(
Also added back in r148 are 'DK tanking spells' Bone Shield and Icebound Fortitude, are they needed? I'm inclined to say no to Bone Shield, it's short cd and rather spammy.
Then I enabled Grid and freezes started to happen again. Unregistering UNU in Grid frame initialization fixed the issue. IMO not all unit frames are impacted the same way by UNU spam but Grid is very bad at it.
However, adding promotional fluff like "raid tips from <insert big guild here>" is a pretty clear deviation from that original design, and is neither minimal nor elegant.
..snip.. I really can't imagine either type of user incorporating "it gives me advice from big guilds on how to raid" into their rationale for which boss mod they use, but I can very easily imagine either one using it as a rational for which boss mod they don't use. :p
I assume most of the guilds included are the ones contributing to the boss timers/warnings themselves, and that 'cutting edge info' is important for boss mods especially as PTR testing is becoming more limited. So people can incorporate "it gives me the latest, more accurate info" into their rationale for which boss mod they use. If the BW authors get logs from these guilds to help make BW better overall, I see the raid tips with the 'advertising' as a little thank you. I know that many people choose BW because it's more up to date/accurate than DBM.
It's not that simple. Even if I "just turn it off", I'm still loading the database of "raid tips" that will likely never stop being added to. It's still wasting RAM space and forcing me to spend more time waiting through the loading screen. If this kind of thing were a separate plugin, like CommonAuras, I'd have no problem with it whatsoever. I just don't think it belongs in the core.
It probably should be a separate addon like CommonAuras. But seriously consider investing in a new computer/RAM if it's that bad for you, the data can't be too big, wasting RAM space is such a lame excuse since it's cheap and doesn't matter (we're talking MB if that). The tips when finished later, I assume, would be LOD anyway.
Small tweak request to the Configure/Proximity window... when in configure mode actually be able to click the sound on/off button or add that option to the Proximity tab of the configure window itself.
Is there any chance of getting wipe information in the export string? Even something simple like Wipe #1 would be awsome so we can create custom events that match that and award DKP for them?
You'd probably want to use one of the attendance addons (maybe NRT instead of HC?), it's probably a bit much but you could also end a raid too and that would be the record for that specific wipe. I don't think anything like wipe tracking is built in and I wouldn't expect it either, especially considering HC seems to just be 'fan updated' recently.

oRA3 uses the combat log to read instead of hard coded.

Most important is prob the Emblem, add to HeadCountOptions.lua in the exclusions list:
[49426] = true, -- Emblem of Frost

"The GUI for oRA3 is attached to the RaidFrame, clicking the visible part of the GUI will slide it out and exposes oRA3's features."
