Here's a page with a ton of info on the 0xC0000005 error. Hopefully some it rings a bell.

Sounds like it could be the addon then.

I updated everything (no luck), then PitBull again, and now it works :\

    /shrug

EDIT - When attempting to change the character name font size in the player frame to 150%:

This application has encountered a critical error:

    ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
    Program: C:\Program Files\Games\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
    Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001B:0040AADA

The instruction at "0x0040AADA" referenced memory at "0x192EB000".
The memory could not be "read".

    WoWBuild: 7561

Does this mean something's wrong with my memory? I replicated it twice, I was able to scale all the other text boxes.

No problems here and I'm using both Pitbull and Cartographer. Are you using embedded or standalone libraries? If their standalone, any chance some of those didn't get updated (maybe check for .svn folders in them)?

The libraries are imbedded by default, right? I never messed with them.

posted a message on PitBull causing lockups in 2.3?
Awhile back I updated a number of my Ace addons. Logging in I found that my frames per second was fluctuating between its usual 30+ and a full freeze (display said 11 FPS, but the screen was frozen for a good 2-3 seconds). It would just lock up like that every few seconds, making the game unplayable. By systematically disabling addons I was able to discover that with Cartographer disabled everything was fine, but enabling it would result in the lock-ups. I've not been using Cartographer since, as I didn't feel the addon was completely necessary.

Why this is relevant to PitBull:
I just updated to the most recent version of PitBull for 2.3 and it's causing the same lockups that Cartographer was. Is it possible that this has something to do with the 'Rock' config menu?

I've used GEM, and except for the fact that it's unfinished, it works alright. This one seems to work, guild has been running 2 kara groups, gruul, and began attempting the eye w/it.

    It's just SUCH a resource hog >.<

    http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/1958/

I just joined a guild that uses this addon to organize guild events. It's a nifty addon, even if I didn't have to use it to sign up for raids, I'd want to, it's convenient.

Unfortunately the cost of this convenience is a LOT of memory. Just idling around talking in chat, not actually using it, the addon will quickly climb up to 10MiB. That's huge, for me anyway, my #2 is Ace2 at 7MiB, #3 is PitBull at 3.3MiB, nothing else I'm using even breaks 3MiB unless I'm using Recount or something to store data.

Is there any addon in existence right now that interfaces with GroupCalendar but uses less resources?

Yep. DeuceCommander takes the slash commands of your Ace mods and turns them into a dewdrop menu. You could also use Niagara, which takes them and puts them into a waterfall GUI. I don't know of anything that only lets you pick and choose which plugins except for what Ellipsis suggested (then you would use MinimapButtonBag on WoWI)

Hmm, I got MinimapButtonBag and it does a splendid job grabbing all the icons I needed it to, but for some reason it's interfering a bit with their click functionality. For example, double-clicking the bartender3 button in the menu no longer opens the config window. Right-clicking it still opens the dewdrop window though, so I can get to the GUI thought there, all in all, a success, I think.

    Thank you.

AuldLangSyne's FuBar plugin combines friend and guild info. Personally I don't use that part of AuldLangSyne, and stick with uFriends and uGuild, simply because I detest scrolling Tablet tooltips, and after three years of playing on the same server and being in an active raiding guild, it's rare that all of my online friends AND guild members fit in the tooltip without scrolling. But if you don't have a full friends list or are in a smaller guild, or if you don't mind scrolling tooltips, give AuldLangSyne a try. It also remembers friend info and lets you keep notes on friends, guildies, and ignores. And can sync your friends list between characters on the same server.

Thanks, that sounds like what I need.

    DeuceCommander?

What is that, exactly? The Wiki is blank.

EDIT - Ah, I see, really that's much larger than what I need though, it lists every single plugin 0.o

Alright, I'm not sure how many people remember this addon, but there used to be one called ButtonHole that would take all of your minimap buttons and make them all sort of sub-options on one main minimap button.

I'm looking for a similar functionality for FuBar. Right now I've got a number of plugins (Prat, Bartender3, SpamSentry, Aloft, PitBull, oRA2, BigWigs)with their icons displayed on FuBar soley so I can click them to open their menus. I would love an addon that generated one icon on FuBar which I could then right-click and select the menus for one of those mentioned addons from a list.

    Anything like this exist?

My second question/request is this. I use FriendsFu and GuildFu, and both addons are great. It seems to me though that it would be the perfect addon to combine into one addon. It could display as Friend#/Guild# on FuBar, and the drop-down list could be split friends on the top and guild on the bottom, or with icons, or coloration, or parallel lists, any number of things I suppose.

Any hope for either of those ideas?

the matter is not in ace2, but in the fact the memory rate increases without limit bringing game to unplayability at some point

There is that too, but even when I run a garbage collection it's much higher that I think is reasonable.

What's standard for an Ace addon? 'cause Ace2 is clocking at 24+ MiB, and things like AG_UF often around 5-8.

Any chance someone could mod this to add together MH and OH Mutilate hits/crits to make the record? It invariably records only the MH, leaving me without any totals.

Still hoping for a fix for this
