May I ask what the status bar texture is on your unitframes? It's full of awesome.

May 6, 2008I seem to remember, pre-2.4, that when I used HPColor to color text it would use the colors I set in my health gradient option instead of just green > yellow > red like it does now. Was this functionality removed? I use a deep blue color for my max health frames and the green stands out like a sore thumb!Posted in: Unit Frames
Apr 30, 2008Well, I've tried to figure this all out but it simply isn't happening. I downloaded the TortoiseSVN program and poked through the included manual, but it assumes I know far more than I do about this stuff. I do not work with computers on a daily basis, as I am a field biologist and spend my days mostly out in a marshland. If any of you computer savvy folk could explain this process to me, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've been pining for a usable version of Assessment since the patch, even if it's just the basics.Posted in: General AddOns
Edit: Thank you ever so much, Phanx. You save me yet again.

Check to see what your desktop resolution is (outside of wow). Because things are definitely rectangular (smooshed, not stretched).
My desktop resolution is set to 1600x1200 and if I change it to either 1680x1050 or 1600x1024 the whole screen.. quivers.

Nice layout Hira :)
But, do you think the game resolution is adapted to your screen?
I noticed all the squared things are not square ...
As if you use a wide resolution on a 4/3 screen.
Everything that should be square appears square to me.. what are you looking at, specifically?
Edit: I've tried both 1680x1050(wide) and 1600x1200 and they appear the exact same to me. I play on a 22" screen.
Mar 22, 2008Hello,Posted in: AddOn HELP!
I am trying to find a more in-depth explanation of how to change fonts in game. I have read and re-read the ClearFont2 readme, but do not find it very clear on the subject. I know that arialn.ttf changes the "login screens, numbers, chat font" but do not know what "numbers" means. Which numbers? I can only think of the floating combat text font to be the only logical one, but apparently that one is handled by skurri.ttf.
I see that frizqt.ttf changes the "main wow fonts" but have no idea what that pertains to either. What is a main WoW font if not the login screen or chat font? There aren't too many others.
I am trying to keep everything as Calibri v.9 but change the font of floating character names to something different. I've tried many different configurations between altering the font files in the WoW directory and changing ClearFont2 fonts.
Any help in this matter will be cause for my eternal gratitude.

Names and health deficit show only on mouseover. Unitframe tooltips are disabled in combat (so there is no double-display of information in combat).
All health bars change color depending on percentage of current health. While in combat, Omen occupies the space next to the minimap. While out of combat, Recount occupies that space. You can see Gathermate and Routes being used in that screenshot, in the minimap. Also, XlootMonitor occupies the top left corner of the screen.
Character sheet and bag configuration
Character sheet is made up of Fizzle, which shows item durability and heightens the color quality of the items, Skinner for the actual frame and the UI-Quickslot custom textured button borders.
User should note:
My fonts are screwy and I do not know why. I have the Fonts folder in the WoW directory, but they don't seem to change anything. I also use ClearFont2 which I wanted to use to keep the chat font Calibri v.9 while using the replaced folder for login screens and floating character names in the font Florencesan. Any clarification on how I could achieve this would be hugely appreciated :)
Feedback is appreciated!
Feb 9, 2008Hello!Posted in: Unit Frames
Bit of a problem with a tag I've been using with no issues for a while, but..
[Outline][~Dead ? ~IsMaxHP ? MissingHP:HPColor]
Using custom health gradient colors, HPColor returns default health gradient colors for some reason. Bright green to yellow to red.
Did I miss a change in this?

Firstly, beautiful UI! I really like it. I have one question, which I should probably already know the answer to, but.. how do you get the gray line border around your buffs, target's buffs and action bar? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I realize you posted a few pages back, but I just saw your pictures and had two questions.
1) It looks like you have your Assessment and Omen set to switch based on combat status - how do you do this?
2) The debuff bars above your target frame - looks like ClassTimers, is it?
Very nice ui!
Jan 14, 2008Hello all!Posted in: Unit Frames
Apologies if this is either a) blatantly obvious or b) already covered in a blatantly obvious place with stars and sparklies somewhere else, but I have a question. I am curious as to how to get names and/or buffs to show upon mouseover of the Pitbull unit frames. I've looked through all the options, searched all the feasible keywords on this board and even emailed a user as to how she achieved it; all of this was to no avail.
A post by user Tiany in which this was mentioned is:
"http://i8.tinypic.com/6t0u4pv.jpg Regular shizzle showing buffs/debuffs on target and stuff.
This is the relevant picture: http://i18.tinypic.com/6petibq.jpg shows castingbar and that I do have raid names shown on mouseover
party coming later."
This post can be seen directly here: http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=1764.msg169198#msg169198
Any help as to how this is done will be greatly appreciated.
