Tried with 1.35 (Love the autoupdater btw ;)), still had the infinite loop...
    New log attatched.

Think I found the culprit though:
23:15:09: Babble-2.2 had .svn not updating

When I removed the .svn I could update normally. Without the infinite loop.

I can confirm it has something to do with libs, prob just babble tho because everything else works for me but pitbull. when if i have no externals it goes just fine, but if i enabled externals i get the infinate loop.

JWowUpdater is gona pwn so much once all this is fixed :D, a universal OS updater is very very nice. i actually perfer this over the .net one already, even with the lib error i am just manually get that it still saves alot of time.

The jwowupdater is working fine for me in ubuntu, but for XP theres a few problems. I have enabled it in my firewall, and have even disabled it (comodo) so that shouldnt be the problem also i dont have windows firewall enabled., but here it is. The updater reports

    Addons that will be updated:

    All addons are Up-2-Date

But, the reason it is saying that is because it isnt detecting my addons for some reason. Ive pointed it correctly to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft, i did that with the program just like how i did for ubuntu, i even tryed just the program files and the addons folder just in case, they all ended up with the same result. ive checked the log and there are many "Couldnt find the "/Interface/AddOns/" subdir creating". im using the newest updater available, and also tried a few older builds with the same results. I can post the .log in here for you, but it makes reference to alot of mods, which i dont have installed. i only use about 20 or so mods, and it makes reference to alot of them on the wowace.com/files.

This is the only updater i can get to work in Ubuntu Linux, thanks for your work its much appreciated. Ive came across what might appear to be a bug, but "fixed" it myself. I had a folder called "Tankpoints" and the updater wasnt detecting it, but a quick namechange to "TankPoints" detected it in the updater. This also goes for "PitBull" if it is named "Pitbull". Just thought i should point this out to you, but it does no longer effect me after fixing the folder names. I had the folders named like that because with the other updater for windows, it detected it fine.

Hey Nevcairiel, i was wondering if u could consider adding a feature to disable shift-drag of icons on the bar, like a modifier to change the key you have to hold and also an option to disable it, like how bongos has this is the only thing im missing when i switched from bongos to bartender3.

Eh? Have you tried this? Unless it's been taken out, I think BT already has shift-dragging. :)

Yea i ment to disable shift-drag, not by default but add an option to. some people never use it, and my bars already set up i rarely have to add things to it. i just occasionally take a button off my bar, happens usually when im doing something important like a raid or heroic ill take off sunder or taunt >.<.

Is it possible that you could add an option to prevent shift-drag to move buttons off the bar while in combat? or even just as an option for whenever, it would be appreciated =D.

can you add an option to bartender that allows locking of buttons when using shift+drag or ability to modify the button to drag abilitys. some of my stances are keybound to shift+other keys, and can be annoying when i click something on my bar, it will move and get removed. bongos has this feature but i want to use bartender for it. if this option is already in bartender can u plz point it out to me because i can not find it. thanks for your time =p

I didn't see an answer to this and maybe I misunderstand the question.
But if you lock the bars and lock the buttons(I use Niagara for all this), you can still move buttons around with shift-click and drag.

Is that what you was asking?

    Wiltock

Yes. You can still drag buttons off the bars if you shift-drag, even when they are "locked" in the options. This is very annoying if you make macros and stuff that use the shift-click function on them. Dragging the taunt button off my bar in a fight is a bad thing :P

How do we request this to be changed or have the author impliment an option to disable shift-drag/click?

sorry you misunderstood, but i don't want to be able to move the buttons at all, even with shift+drag. If there is an option to enable this, similar to bongos how you could disable shift+drag or change the modifier to alt+drag or control+drag to move them, if that feature could be added that would be awsome, or if i just cant find it can you point it out? thanks again =D
