I also get the "lost textures" bug (also running on Mac OS X). For me it's not random, it always shows up if I switch from fullscreen to playing in a window or vice versa. I have made a screenshot here.
Reloading the UI fixes the problem as stated before, zoning in or out of instances however does not, nor does enabling/disabling IceHUD from the menu. I have only tested with the non rounded bars (the nice slanted ones ^^).

Aug 9, 2006Ouch! :( Exported a copy today and it doesn't work it seems? Even if I only load this addon and nothing else i still get:Posted in: General AddOns
devnull\devnull.lua:24: attempt to call global `print' (a nil value)
devnull\devnull.lua:24: in function `obj_method'
AceEvent\AceEvent-2.0.lua:212: in function `TriggerEvent'
AceEvent\AceEvent-2.0.lua:842: in function <...erface\AddOns\BugSack\Libs\AceEvent\AceEvent-2.0.lua:834>
Anyway, IF someone decides to take over this mighty fine addon I'd so love to be able to squelch channels like /1 when in instances. I hate the spam, but leaving General/Local Defence and rejoining when I get out of MC/BWL whatever messes up my channel numbering at times. A mute function would be soo much better. Can EarPlug do that? I thought that was only for the LFG channel, and I left that as soon as 1.11 came out :p.
And yeah, the poor children of Stormwind get my help anytime they want (children's week :p). I don't need to be reminded of them everytime I'm in IF though... nor do I want to buy "Warm wholesome bread" all that often, and don't get me started on Topper McNabb in Stormwind, he makes the AH there unbearable...
Sorry for the long post, spammage just stirs up my emotions too much. Guess I needed to spam abit about it :p
Aug 4, 2006The mana bars is not a huge problem, Im sure I can get used to them :) (And huge thanks Sirow for the tip about XRaidStatus - it looks great). A way to show "Low Mana", maybe with a change of background colour, would ofcourse be a great addition for Druids. But it's no biggie for me.Posted in: Unit Frames
The tooltips from CTRA however will be hard to leave behind :'( Having CTRA running is no good for my framerate, but the info provided is really good. How do you guys keep track of buffs and when they're about to fade? (sorry not meaning to hijack the thread...). CheckstoneFu is enough for SS:s and Cork_Fu goes a long way with buffs, but you only know when the buffs are out, not that they're about to expire in 5 mins (good to know when you're about to start a long fight). And afk status is also very important to know, not least for a raidleader. EasyRaid has a way of showing afk, but I don't know how it's coded (just dabbling a small bit with Lua myself :/).
Anyway, I really appreciate the good work - I'd love to have only one set of raidframes that covers all needs of healing/buffing (and is not CTRA :p). This is the best one out here imo :)
Aug 3, 2006I'd like to second the suggestion to be able to choose what buffs you want to show, unless it's a coding nightmare ofcourse :). What phanta asked for might be difficult (if I got the suggestion right) as it's not "just" to auto switch between buffs and debuffs depending on wether you're in combat or not. EasyRaid (http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=2402) does this. Instead he'd like to switch between two different buff wiews (in his case Rejuv/Regrowth in combat and Mark of the Wild out of combat).Posted in: Unit Frames
I'd be quite happy with seeing MotW and Rejuv/Regrowth in Buff-view and stay at that, I use Decursive for debuffing :p. However... some more loving for the mana bars would be nice, they are a tad bit tiny and hard to see as it is now, and it's good to know how much healing mana there's left among the Priests ... and whom of them to toss an Innervate to :). Maybe make an option to show percentage or current values on them as well as the HP bars?
One thing that I noticed is that the frames doesn't show a tooltip when you mouse over them, I'm kinda used to mouse over people in CTRA frames to see how long before their buffs fade, when the soulstone is up and such... That's one of the really good features in the CTRA raid frames imo. Also some indication wether people are afk or if they are "really" dead or just have feigned death would be nice... and some kind of range check would ofcourse be awesome, it would also make group buffs so much easier (to see that all members of a group is in range and ready to be buffed).
I'm stumbling over myself with feature requests here... sorry bout that, I'm already in love with these raidframes - even without any feature added. I love your work!
Jun 16, 2006This might be slightly off, or maybe even already documented/self explanatory - and it's just me being daft... but are the notifiers before the bars (the "H", and "A" in the screenshot) documented anywhere? I guess H is for someone healing the target and A means that the target has aggro... are there others? And maybe some note of the significance of the bar colors would be nice also :)Posted in: General AddOns
Oh, and I've already fallen in love with Squishy, even though I don't know the significance of those pesky A and H letters :P
