    I love this Addon, it's just what my frail memory needs.

    There is one thing however... :) I d like to be able to add notes to people without having them in my friends- or guildlist. I have my friends list full of peoples Alts, just to be able to make AuldLangSyne notes for them, and I noticed that even if I delete them from the friendslist I still see the AuldLangSyne note in the tooltip when mousing over them. This is great, so now when I need a note on someone I add them to my friendslist, add the note and then delete them from my friendslist again :p

    A bit cumbersome... a slashcommand like "/auldlangsyne add-note-for-target" or something would be great :)

    There's a thingy in branches by Grimwald called oRA_Buff. He mentioned it here. I dont know anything about Lua, but it sounds like something that might be good for sRF - by looking at the commits it seems to use RosterLib...

    Some visual indication to show that a chat frame is not scrolled to the bottom would be very cool. A fairly old addon named ChatBox had a feature to show the "Scroll to Bottom" button within the frame - but it was only visible when the frame was not already scrolled all the way down (picture). Something like that would make the idChat addons rock even more. :)

    Hi maia, the Itch debuff doesn't show up in Detox at all, and yes - we Druids can cast Abolish Poison on anyone and anytime, it's not like "Cure Poison" (a lower level spell we allso have that can only be cast on players with a poison effect on them).

    The Itch seems to be a special debuff, it can't be dispelled by anyone - but if I cast Abolish Poison on someone afflicted by Itch the Abolish will "tick" for the duration of the Itch and then some... and thus cure the player of the Catalyst immediately as he/she gets afflicted by it. Itch is just a "pre-debuff" to the Vekniss Catalyst, the Itch itself doesn't "do" anything but counts down to the Catalyst. Meh, I hope I explained it in an understandable way. I added Thottbot links for the debuffs and Curings, don't know if they give any info though. And it's just a minor thing, the Vekniss Catalyst itself always shows up in Detox ... this setup would only make the curing of it a slight bit faster, no biggie.

    Hi maia, and thanks for the excellent work!

    I have a small suggestion to make. The Vekniss Wasps in Ahn’Qiraj debuffs you with a thingy called "Itch" that lasts for 8 seconds, and after that the victim is afflicted by "Vekniss Catalyst". The Itch cannot be dispelled or countered (only resisted), and you can't cast Cure Disease on someone with "only" the Itch, however as a druid you can cast "Abolish Poison" on someone afflicted by Itch. Abolish lasts for 8 secs, just like the Itch, but with reaction time included you usually end up having the last tick of Abolish cure the Vekniss Catalyst on the victim just as it starts...

    So, if Itch would be considered a poison effect that needs "Abolish Poison" to counter and show up on the list we could have people cured of the Catalyst much faster. :)

    Master Trade Skills does just what you want. It's not an Aced mod however, and I have no idea if it's well written/performance intensive or if it will eat your harddrive (I don't use it myself). It will do just what you ask for however.

    Skyboat , maybe the changed (or not so changed, depending on view) group loot frames would be a suitable addition to the branches on the SVN? I for one would appreciate it - but I don't really know how to do it myself, I'm guessing copying your code here and past it in the right place in oskin... wherever that might be :p

    I can also second Devlas sugestion, but that I managed to change myself by swapping "["ChatFrameEditBox"]:SetAltArrowKeyMode(false)" to "["ChatFrameEditBox"]:SetAltArrowKeyMode(true)" in EditBox.lua. I suppose one could just comment that row, but this worked for me :)

    Hm, it seems that /dev/null turns off /yells and stuff in instances also... is that intentional? I think that in town I don't want yells and emote spam, but in instances I do want NPC, emotes and yells. Pretty Please :)

    Tried it out in MC yesterday, usually it's spammy enough to make one slightly insane. But the serenity now was awesome! It works just as stated - and I love you Jncl and Tekkub, in a very platonic way :)

    Never seen an "Blackwing Lair is under attack" warning ever, just "Some-random-old-martial-arts-actor-does-whatever-to-whomever-in-some-supposedly-funny-way". About as fun as watching paint dry imo, and makes me scroll endlessly to find the bits and pieces of the "real" raidchat that I need to see.

    Hi Jncl,

    Thanks a lot for your work!

    Basically I (and many others I know :p) are all too fed up with the massive spamfest that usually starts in MC, BWL and other raid instances.

    I think not much control would be necessary. The channels are General, Trade, LFG (for those that are still in it) and Local Defense, when I'm in an instance I don't need to see those channels at all. Maybe an option to choose what channels to mute? Other than that I imagine that if you would enjoy a spam free BWL you'd also enjoy the same serenity in Shadowfang Keep or the Deadmines, so configuring what instances would trigger a mute of the channels would be overkill.

    I don't know if the game has any way of reporting all "instance-type" places the same way or if you need to check for locations (is that what the Tourist lib is for?) but notable exeptions would probably be the Alliance Tram between Stormwind and Ironforge, and the ships/zeppelins ofcourse.
