    XRS has worked fine for me pre- and post-2.4. Did you accidentally remove your config file or delete the buff buttons or something? (That's the part I love the most about it, so I'd definitely notice if it went missing or didn't work. As I said, though, XRS is working great for me.)

    It might be a slight pain, but I'd probably try deleting the addon completely (and your savedvariables file for it) and install the latest from files.wowace.com and reconfigure it. It might be overkill, but it's worth a shot if yours isn't working properly.

    Well, until aXRS either handles buffs or has a plugin created for it, I'll be sticking with good ol' XRS.

    One thing that has always bothered me, though, is the fact that I can not get it to allow me to position it exactly on the edge of my screen -- it insists on keeping a safe gap between itself and the edge of the screen. Is there any way to get it to let me move it like that?

    The bar fadeout option doesn't seem to do anything. I have the option checked, but the bar is visible 100% of the time. Being an alpha release, you may just not have gotten around to coding it yet, but figured I'd mention it anyhow. :)

    For some reason, I don't appear to be able to make the name of incoming heals disappear even though the Spell/Skill Name box is unchecked. It still shows the icon, the amount, and the name of the heal.

    Outgoing damage doesn't have this problem; it properly shows just the icon and the amount of dmg from my spell.

    Any thoughts? Is this related to what Pirsillis mentioned?

    Are you perchance running both BattlegroundFu and HonorFu? If so, update both from /files again - they'll both have the current version of GloryLib, which should fix that for you.

    Thanks for the tip! I just deleted the embedded Glory from both of the addons and installed the latest standalone version of it and that solved my problem.

    The latest version is loading fine for me, but it's counting all honor gains twice and I can't figure out why.

    posted a message on ag_UnitFrames - suggestions, requests and temp fixes thread
    I've read through a couple of different posts and done a few searches, but I couldn't seem to find any mention of the main bug that I (and several other people I know) am having. I actually have two things to mention, both of which have to do with the combat status icon.

    Firstly, if I change zones while I'm in combat, the "in combat" icon stays on my unit frame even though I'm actually out of combat. This happens to me all the time zoning into Naxx or leaving a Battleground.

    Secondly, and this one has been mentioned here before (both by myself and others), the "in combat" icon has a 1px black line underneath it for me on my unit frame. Obviously not too important, and my scale is low enough that it doesn't bother me, but I thought I'd mention it again.

    hey man, i see your using a priest and with a HolyHope or Necro'something and it looks like you have made it work nicely for a priest. mind telling me what addon you are using for it?

    The one in that screenshot is SacredBuff, which is now Ace2. There's also Serenity, which is based on the Necrosis code.

    My problem with testing it is, I need to be on my paladin, with a warlock standby for hellfiring him/herself to death.

    I can code different things from work, but I can't test WoW from work. Sorry.

    I understand and I do appreciate the fact that you're still working on it. I can be patient. :)

    Here's the latest:

    Works - Target mage, cast Resurrection (Rank 5) from action bar.
    Works - Select Resurrection (Rank 5) from action bar, then target mage.
    Works - Select Resurrection (Rank 5) from action bar, then target mage's corpse. (Released)
    Works - Target mage, cast Resurrection (Rank 5) from the spell book.
    Works - Select Resurrection (Rank 5) from spell book, then target mage's corpse. (Released)
    Works - Using the Resurrection spell button from Serenity, with or without having the mage targeted first.

    Doesn't Work - Target mage, type: /cast resurrection
    Doesn't Work - Use a macro from an action bar to just /cast Resurrection(Rank 5)
    Doesn't Work - Use a macro from an action bar that says something in raid chat, then casts the spell.

    That's definite progress and enough for me to be able to switch back to oRA2. Thank you!

    posted a message on What raid frames
    I'm currently using an addon called RaidGroup that mimicks, somewhat, the CTRA frames, but was designed to work without it. It's not Ace/Ace2, but they are lightweight. I've attached a small screenshot of the frames in a 40-man raid. It has a number of configuration options, but here's how mine's setup:

    * sorted by group with group name hidden
    * raid pets hidden
    * mana/rage/energy bars hidden
    * health deficit display

    When a person is debuffed, it'll show in the frame as a single letter for each debuff. (M for Magic, P for Poison, etc.) Hovering over the little yellow circle in each of the players' frames will show you their current target in a tooltip.

    He's got a lot of good ideas for the next version of the addon, but the current one does everything I need in a small amount of space (even if it's not as "pretty" as agUF and the ilke).

    Anyhow, good luck finding your favorite frames. It's rough finding ones that look nice and do show everything a healer needs without taking up a ton of screen space.

    It helps a lot! thanks for that information, now I can check my hooks and events.

    -Ammo

    I don't want to seem like a nag, since it seems like you have your hands full with MT frames and the many requests surrounding them (the latest versions look fantastic, btw!), but have you made any progress on the res detection/monitor?

    We've had to revert to oRA1 just to get a functional res monitor, because people were complaining that too many people's resurrections weren't showing up and that we were wasting their time. It's not a huge deal, but I'd rather not have to have Ace1 around just for one addon.

    Thanks again for all of your work. It doesn't get said enough, but you do a great job.

    It appears to be a problem with the forum's wiki-style theme. Everything works fine with the default SMF theme, but none of the JavaScript-based things work in the wiki-style theme.

    Initial quote will work, if you're using it like a reply button. Subsequent "Insert Quote" clicking (with a reply already being typed) will not work. None of the bold, italic, etc. buttons work. Under the "Additional Options" link when composing a new post or a reply, the "(more attachments)" link is also broken. It's been this way since the site moved to its new servers and the forum theme changed. I don't get any errors when clicking any of them, they just don't work.

    I posted about it in the old stickied thread that was around just after the server move, but never got a reply and the thread seems to be gone now. Oh well...

    ravagernl linked to one there, but I just wanted to throw in for dafont.com, as well. It's an incredible resource for finding good free fonts. You should be able to find something that suits you there, if you strike out everywhere else. If you like to pay for your fonts, I love the work that t26 does, too.

    Posting this without knowing if this has been said before...

    But the Resurrection Monitor in oRA2 doesn't seem to work with CTRA's Monitor. When I begin to ress dead ones, other healers with CTRA can't see me on their Monitor's list.

    I know it's a lot of pages, but you should use the search function of the forums before posting and just adding to the noise. If you had, you'd see that this has been well-documented and he is in the process of figuring this out right now. If you read through the previous page, you will see a reply from Ammo to one of my posts stating as much.

    Okay, here are some things for you to chew on.

    I'm testing in a 2-man raid with my 60 priest using oRA2 and my 46 mage using the latest CTRA. Both are displaying their respective res monitors.

    Works - Target mage, cast Resurrection (Rank 5) from action bar.
    Works - Select Resurrection (Rank 5) from action bar, then target mage.
    Works - Select Resurrection (Rank 5) from action bar, then target mage's corpse. (Released)
    Doesn't Work - Target mage, cast Resurrection (Rank 5) from the spell book.

    Doesn't Work - Use a macro from an action bar to just /cast Resurrection(Rank 5)

    Hope this helps.
