    posted a message on An alternate method for defining embedded lilbraries in your TOC
    A simple solution is to replace
    for addon in os.listdir(ADDON_PATH):
    	if os.path.isdir(addon):
    		path = os.path.join(ADDON_PATH, addon

    with

    for addon in os.listdir(ADDON_PATH):
    	path = os.path.join(ADDON_PATH,addon)
    	if os.path.isdir(path) and "Blizzard_" not in addon:

    Should work just fine then, not sure if there are any exceptions, but there might be a better way of checking if it's not a Blizz addon.

    posted a message on DKPmon & Bidder v2.0
    I'm rather reluctant to have my guild members install addons if at all possible, so I was just wondering, would it not be possible for members to just simply whisper 'bid whatever' to the loot master when an item is put up for bidding, and have DKPmon automatically register it? Perhaps in a similar way to how the SuicideKings client worked...
    What's the main benefit to having each raid member have Bidder installed?

    Thanks for the inspiration. I'm now using something similar, and you're right, it does work pretty well. The traditional way of shoving _everything_ at the bottom of the screen makes it hard to separate out the information there - now cooldowns and the like are off to the side so they are still visible and in the field of view, but not dominating over the chat boxes (and allowed more room to add extra chat boxes/etc).

    Definitely, it feels a lot more intuitive to have info at the bottom and actions on the side, somehow. It also just makes sense to be able to click on a unit frame and then instantly click on decurse, heal or whatever, rather than moving your cursor all the way to the bottom of the screen :)
    Plus I found it's much easier to group buttons into sections such as damage, healing, consumables, buffs etc when the bars are in blocks...
    I'm thinking of coming up with something to make the sidebar collapsible when PerfectRaid comes out, so you could have toggleable buttons or unitframes.

    I had a go at debugging it earlier but more and more things kept cropping up and seeing as I don't have any lua or Ace experience so when I got to the errors with RegisterChatCommand I just got confuzzled and gave up...
    I'll give it another go a bit later.

    Tuller, have you considered putting your addons up on the SVN? It'd be great to have them there if only to keep track of updates, and considering the amount of support your stuff gets from this community I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem with anyone...

    I used to use Bagnon until Kaelten 'finished' OneBag. They're both great addons, pretty similar to be honest but I just liked the fact that OneBag is Ace2, I can update it straight from the SVN, and I just like watching it develop :)
    I do miss the Bagnon Spot feature though... that really was damn handy when sorting out the guild bank etc.

    I use MrPlow too and have never had a problem with it either, just another damn handy addon that works really nicely. OneBag has support for it built into its menus too :)

    posted a message on What healers like to see while raiding
    I'd love to see something like:

    (but with 40 people :))

    Kind of a combination of PerfectRaid, Squishy and ClickHeal...
    Ideas I've used here:
    • A really simple list of health bars like PerfectRaid, statuses such as low mana etc would be shown in the usual way.
    • ClickHeal style letters to show buffs on the player/needed (Capital W appears when a player needs MotW, not when they have it). Letters goes into lowercase when there's a set amount time left on the buff. E.g. lowercase W appears when MotW has 3 minutes left, and capital J becomes lowercase j when rejuv has 5 seconds left.
    • Any player who's taken damage in the last 5 seconds has a red bar (prioritise healing).
    • If a player is being healed, their health bar flashes.
    • I'm not sure how easy range checking is to implement, doesn't really bother me that much, but perhaps the bar could be a darker green when a player is out of range or something.

    Something like this + Clique would be amazing for healing :)

    The text on the right are just comments by the way.

    Really damn nice :)
    One thing about the new update though, when FuBar is docked to the bottom of the screen, the shadow appears inside the bar, which actually looks quite nice... but still it would be great to have an option to have the shadow on the top/disable it altogether.
    Also, any chance we could have it so it shows a full experience bar when you're 60? Just so I have that damn nice customizable border on my bar....

    posted a message on Clique 0.2.0-Beta Released
    Aha, well after scrolling up my chat frame a little (something I'm an idiot to have forgot to do earlier :D) I noticed BugSack caught a few errors:
    [18:37-807] oUF\AceOO\AceOO-2.0.lua:761: attempt to index field `super' (a nil value)
       ---
    [18:37-807] oUF\AceOO\AceOO-2.0.lua:63: attempt to call method `init' (a nil value)
       ---
    UnitFrames.lua:163: Cannot find a library instance of AceAddon-2.0.
       ---

    Clique still loads and works with the blizzard unit frames, it's just that oUF is just missing...
    I downloaded Clique from WoWI so I can only assume I'm not missing anything...

    Thanks for the help :)

    I am not sure if it's just me, or a conflict with another addon altogether, but oUF doesn't seem to load at all when I have Clique loaded... I disable Clique, oUF works again.
    I've done the usual clear savedvariables/complete removal & reinstallation of the two addons to no avail.
    Anyone else having this problem? I'd just like to know before I end up checking each addon I have individually...
    Very nice work though, this'll definitely be excellent for my druid.

    A tagged mob has a red border, and a non-tagged has a grey. This was the way it was in the Ace 1.3 version anways.

    To tell if PvP is enabled, it doesn't seem to work on the Player frame, but if you target yourself, your target will have a green border if you are PvP enabled.

    Ah that's great thanks, so my feature request changes to perhaps having an option to change the background color aswell as the border, or show the icons, as I'm partially colour-blind and it's really damn hard to see the colour of the border, especially mid-fight.

    You shouldn't have to download anything...thats very odd.

    I suppose he would if he didn't use an SVN client :)

    Ah yes Kyahx, thanks for pointing that out :) The border turns blue when resting, and red when in combat, but as far as I can see there's no way to tell if PvP is turned on, or whether a mob has been tagged.
