    smartclass displays on players and enemy NPCs. Use playerclass for player classes only (there's a default setting for this).

    Thanks, I had the wrong tag, it works pretty well now. This is what I was doing:
    [difficultycolor][level] [white][classification][classcolor][playerclass]

    I'm a minimalist so I prefer to chop out all extraneous info. In this case I only want to see the level first, elite status if any, and finally class if player only. I would have also preferred to see creature type just for mobs but there's no tag for that. Unfortunately, the "[creature]" tag also displays on players.

    Is anyone else having problem with the tags while customizing the class text? I use the "smartclass" tag that's suppose to only show on players but it still shows up on mobs.

    I'd like to make a formal request to add another tag to Dogtag that will effect custom class text in Pitbull. I'd like to have a "smartcreature" tag that will give the creature type of a mob but only if the creature is not a player. Similar to the "smartrace" tag but in reverse.

    Hrm, I think I'd still prefer to use the ABF font (Myriad Condensed Web), it is however a matter of how much people care about licensing issues.

    I agree, this font is the best combination of efficient space use and visibility. I wish there was some way to get Pitbull to utilize it.

    On another note, does anyone know how to customize the class text in the target frame so that it only shows the following:

    Player... HP/HP
    lvl class... MP/MP

    Mob... HP%
    lvl mobtype... MP/MP

    In other words I don't want the racial to show on players while not showing the classtype on mobs.

    I noticed there are still references to UNIT_PVP_UPDATE event, which no longer exists and has been replaced by UNIT_FACTION.

    In ag_UnitFrames.lua (r13111) there are three references to this event:
    function aUF:HideBlizzPlayer()
    	PlayerFrame:UnregisterEvent("UNIT_LEVEL")
    	PlayerFrame:UnregisterEvent("UNIT_COMBAT")
    	PlayerFrame:UnregisterEvent("UNIT_SPELLMISS")
    	PlayerFrame:UnregisterEvent("UNIT_PVP_UPDATE")

    function aUF:ShowBlizzPlayer()
    	PlayerFrame:RegisterEvent("UNIT_LEVEL")
    	PlayerFrame:RegisterEvent("UNIT_COMBAT")
    	PlayerFrame:RegisterEvent("UNIT_SPELLMISS")
    	PlayerFrame:RegisterEvent("UNIT_PVP_UPDATE")

    function aUF:ShowBlizzParty()
    	self:Unhook("RaidOptionsFrame_UpdatePartyFrames")
    	for i=1,4 do
    		local frame = getglobal("PartyMemberFrame"..i)
    		frame:RegisterEvent("PARTY_MEMBERS_CHANGED")
    		frame:RegisterEvent("PARTY_LEADER_CHANGED")
    		frame:RegisterEvent("PARTY_MEMBER_ENABLE")
    		frame:RegisterEvent("PARTY_MEMBER_DISABLE")
    		frame:RegisterEvent("PARTY_LOOT_METHOD_CHANGED")
    		frame:RegisterEvent("UNIT_PVP_UPDATE")

    Is there something you can do about all those changelog.txt files that accumulate with each update?

    Awesome, PProvost. Works very slick. I had one error, which may be a problem with the addon's zip file, but otherwise it seemed to update everything beautifully.

    Getting same error as well. But otherwise awesome job! It's just what I've been looking for!

    I use OmniCC as my cooldown counter. There's a bug where if you open a sprocket with an active cooldown (after drinking a potion), the cooldown numbers will remain when bringin up the micromenu sprocket by clicking on the minimap icon.

    Thanks for looking into the pvp icons. I noticed that there are 2 lines in the unitframes lua and 1 line in the unitclass lua that still refer to UNIT_PVP_UPDATE. My understanding is that the event has been entirely replaced by UNIT_FACTION by blizzard so I'm not sure if you want to update those lines as well.

    I noticed that ag_unitframes still uses the UNIT_PVP_UPDATE event, which has been replaced by UNIT_FACTION since 1.11. This might explain why the PvP icon is not updating properly.

    *edit* Yep, I just replaced the events in ag_UnitFrames.lua and ag_UnitClass.lua and now the icon is updating correctly when the flag cooks off.

    I noticed a bug with the PvP icon. It doesn't go away even after your flag cooks off.

    Also, the focus bar in the pet windows is colored yellow like a rogue's energy bar instead of the orange color of focus.

    Does anyone else notice these bugs or do I have an older build? I'm currently using r11954

    planned features:
    - hide channel names completely (colors should be telling enough)
    - shorten general channel names (e.g. [1. General - ...] -> [1.], etc)

    Looking forward to these, thanks again.

    CleanChat has (G) for General, (LFG) for lfg, etc... if you were interested in that.

    I prefer (Gen) for General and (Tr) for Trade.
