    actually, i just was looking at this thread for the same thing. Is there a / command that I can type in that will hide/show a bar, or a keybinding would work also.

    At this point no (hence my request for just that thing:). Depending on what you want to achieve the tip a few posts above might work out for you though (the mouseover thing).

    Maybe adjusting alpha of the bars having it at 0% alpha untill mouseover?

    I use that on some bars that I have on the side of the screen for stuff that's not critical. For that the alpha mouseoverthingie is perfect. What I'm after might seem similar but really is'nt.

    The problem is if I want a bar for critical stuff. Might be for dailys, instances, pvp or whatever. Then I don't want to have it on the side (and absolutly not hidden). With a keybinding that enables/disenables it I could have the bar right in the center of the screen when I need it the most (giving it the focus it deserves) and not be in the way when I don't need it at all (popping up when I race my cursor over the screen).

    I seem to recall that Bongos had that feature (a simple keybind for each bar). What you're suggesting is a great feature but it's more suited for bars that don't fill a (sometimes) critical need.

    I do appreciate your input but my request still stands:)

    Might be smoother to use somthing like the Autobar alpha for that, does pretty much exactly that (you can make a button for each item, and it will stay hidden aslong as you don't have that item in your inventory).

    Interesting workaround. Not quite what I had in mind though since I loose control (which is something I like). I tend to pick up some dailys and then maybe jump in a BG or instance. In that case (with this workaround) I'd suppose that I'd have buttons where I don't need them and when I don't need them. Migth find other uses for that tip though so thanks!

    My request still stands though:)

    Did a search too see if this had already been suggested but couldnt find it anywhere so here goes...

    I want to be able to set a keybinding for each bar to show/hide it.

    What I have:
    I have a bar filled with icons from different dailys (googles, different bombs and so on). I really only want to see it when I'm doing dailys and then to have that bar pretty much in the center since it's my main focus. As it is now I have that bar on the side of the screen so it's not in the way 90% of my time playing (which is kinda ok) but when I do my dailys that bar is not exactly in an optimal place:).

    What I like to see:
    Instead I'd like to have that bar bang in the middle of the screen (hidden) and when I feel like doing a daily I'd just press the right keybinding and whammo there it is!

    Suppose there could be other scenarios where it could also be a good thing... but hrm.. well.. anyhoo..

    Oh yeah, one last thing:
    Great, solid addon:)

    -best regards, m

    A feature request here. Would it be possible to make it so you'd be able to control the size of the player icon (the arrow in the middle of the map)? The size of my minimap is at 40% now and the arrow in the middle is awfully small right now:). In Cartographer you can set the size of the arrow at 200%. Love that feature since it's such a simple way to increases readabilty on a cluttered map (big or small).

    Great work and a solid addon. Loving it:)

    hotkye's for channels would be cool :P

    enter -> Guild
    shift+ enter -> party

    or did anyone knows a addon that let me set hotkey's for diffrent channe?

    Well you can do it with Prat but for me the links (in the chat) will kinda bugg out. They still work and other people see them perfectly but to me (and at least one other poster) most of them will look like gibberish. Using Prat right now for this relativly simple feature feels like killing mosquitos with a bazooka. It's overkill but it works if you can live with having some collateral damage:)

    I'm getting an improper display when items or tradeskills are linked, happens in trade, raid, and guild channels that I've seen so far.

    This happened to me too. When I turned off Prat the links started working again.

    The only reason I use Prat is to set keybindings for all the channels (hrm..well not ALL channels, just g, p, s, bg and one custom channel in my case). This is a feature that I've seen has already been suggested so I'll guess I have to use macros instead while I wait for this particular function to hopefully be implemented:)

    Great work sofar btw:D

    Got a feature request here.

    I'd like to be able to make the arrow (the one in the middle of the map) bigger. I've got two reasons for this request right now. First one is because it's just to tiny on my screen right now (mainly since I've made the map a tiny bit smaller:). But since I've started using Cartographer I've grown accustomed to having a larger arrow (Cartographer has an option to double the size of the arrow).

    Second reason is when I play my warlock the icon representing my pet tends to overlap the arrow when i've got the map zoomed out.

    Well that's it!

    Thanks for all your great work on the addon. It really is a little gem:)
