Oct 14, 2008Posted in: General AddOnsQuote from jerryhmpf... Sorry about that. I'll add a fix to access it ASAP. I did not have any hunter available on beta, but I have one on live. Expect hackish solution first and a better one coming later on.
And I can't thank you enough for this addon, one of the most usefull with TBag and Dominos for me. Good luck with patch day !
Jun 7, 2007Hello all,Posted in: Updaters
I have a small problem with the Ace Updater. Everytime I start the updater, my installed addons with the current version number are shown but the version number of the newest addon on the website aren't shown. This means the updater can't compare whether my installed addons are up-to-date or not. Thus the addons that need an update aren't prechecked. I have to right-click every single installed addon and view the changelog to get the current version number. A complete delete and re-install of the updater didn't change anything. It's only a minor problem but maybe you guys here have a simple solution to fix this.
Here are my stats ;)
WowAceUpdater Version: 220.127.116.11
UpgradeSettings: False <-- btw what does that mean it's not described in the readme
WowInstallDirectory: E:\World of Warcraft\
Thanks in advance for your help

now i have some ideas to share.
when a mod is successfully updated in ANY way (mod or lib), have the lines of text become GREEN.
For mods failed updating, they become RED.
Efficiency, once the mod list has been scanned to discover what needs updating, why does the UPDATE function try to update everything?
only attempt to update that which has ALREADY been scanned and found needs updating.
Apr 30, 2007I was having the same problem, i downloaded the final from this link:Posted in: Updaters
Now everthing updates fine and no ( public profile ) errors.
Feb 12, 2007Can't find any vista related infos but I upgraded some days ago and now I getPosted in: Updaters

? WowAceUpdater.WowAceFilesServer.DownloadFile(String fileUrl, String localFileName)
? WowAceUpdater.MainForm.DownloadAndExtract(String addonName, Boolean skipExternals, Boolean skipVersionCheck, ICollection`1 list, ICollection`1 listDone)
Any idea or updated version ? I'm using the 1.7b4.
