I am currently not planning on porting the following modules during the development phase:

    ChatLink
    ChannelReordering

Their usefulness can be reassessed later.

Apparently I don't use them, but what did / does ChatLink do?

This phase will be longer, and will probably be during the conversion of wowace to use curse's software. I expect beta to last around a month or two. Though at this point it will be just like other addons on the trunk (until the curse conversion).

Where's info on this? What software are they planning on using, what platforms does it support, etc?

Have you been able to strip out any code with Prat 3.0? I know you're not done yet and this doesn't really reflect anything but as it currently stands Prat 3.0 (without svn files, and without external libs) is at ~2136k and Prat 2.0 (including all the broken out modules) was / is at ~2920k.

Also since Prat 2.0 was done using Rock and this is Ace3 which one do you like better? Was there an overriding reason to switch to Ace3 instead of staying with Rock?

I'd like to think of myself as a decently smart mod user, so this question is gonna come off totally noobish. How can I tell what parts you've updated in your link to the mod. I don't wanna have to download every single file over again after you make a revision, if not all of them have been changed. Is there a faster/easier way to get yer updated mod without saving each individual file into its respective place on my comp?

    proceed with the laughter.... :(

Use an svn client and plug that in as the location of the location of the repository. Then run an update periodically.

Sure, if they aren't fixed in the current build. Plus there is some confusion over the 2 branches wotlk/live. I am planning on dealing with that issue soon so there is only one branch for both.

The difference between live and wotlk is very small as far as prat is concerned.

Repost from last night. I'll see if I can get some testing in again tonight before Kara.

All of these are on the live server

Related to Talented, probably fixed later by the Talented Team

posted a message on ag_UnitFrames Status (What's going on?)
I assume andreasg would know the answer to this. I'd like to add container frame (I assume this would be the best way to do it) for all of the unit frame. What we want to do is have ZMobDB for the 3D models instead of just the portrait, and move the text (and add additional text items) to the right of the model so it roughly would look something like what's in the png attachment.

Would a new module work for this, or would I need to (or could I) do the whole thing inside a custom layout?

    Feature requests:
    1. Allow the bars to be vertical (couldn't figure out if it is possible)

Columns = 1, Rows = 2+ on the particular bar you want

    Quote from Cheburator »

    3. Here's one that I hope you can do:
When one grinds for material, it is very useful to know how much of a specific item you have. It can be leather, herbs or metals OR special quest items like "Core Of Elements"...

Grab FarmerFu. It'll show up in FuBar (I assume you have FuBar), and you can customize it to show whatever item you want.

Is Prat still being maintained and developed? I'd read earlier (April and May I think) that Sylvanaar was not going to be developing Prat anymore, then I see messages in the commit log like: "More prep work for 3.0..." So I'm a little confused. Could someone please enlighten me?

posted a message on Chatter- Ace3 chat mod (was Chatterbox)
Tab complete a la Prat? Sorry if I'm starting a flame war or what not. I'm new to chatter, coming over from Prat as I heard it was no longer being maintained. I really got used to the prat chat tab complete for slash commands (maybe that's just Blizzard, don't recall and maybe I have another mod interfering with it it, don't know) and for player names. I figured out the Player names deal, but it seems a little odd (again based on the Prat behavior). I noticed I can't tab complete friends (don't see why we couldn't) and the rest are all context sensitive.

Is there a way to make Chatter behave like Prat for tab complete, or could this be a feature? (What I'm mostly looking for is /w StartName + tab to complete from Friends, guild, party, raid, etc) Would a patch be accepted if proposed?
