    [Feature Request]

    Would it be possible to have a setting that determines what the F10 function key does.

    IE - it can either update WITHOUT externals, or WITH externals - based on the setting you define.

    I update without externals, and with me being lazy and all - it'd be quicker to hit F10 instead of having to go FILE -> INSTALL/UPDATE MARKED ADDONS -> WITHOUT EXTERNALS.

    :)

    posted a message on [Request] Quest Addon Ace2
    I'd like to second this request. FuBar_QuestFu is nice and all, but it's not really what i'm looking for as far as an actual quest log goes.

    Between UberQuest and Extended Quest Log - i'd say EQL is definately the best. Essentially, all i'm looking for is an addon to create a larger quest log, with a nicer minion, based on Ace2.

    It looks as though EQL3 isn't being supported anymore - and even then, i'm not sure how memory effecient it is. To have one of the Ace masters rewrite something similar would be awesome. :)

    posted a message on AGUF: PartyPets are not in one line with the groupmembers
    The above poster is right, "Group setup > Growth distance" is the setting you need. It changes the amount of spacing between each party member / pet.

    The same setting is also available for party pets.

    However - the issue I'm having is that the slider for party pets does not go high enough to have them in line with the party members.

    Craig: Anchor.. is the point on the child frame (We're assuming the "parent" is the anchor, then each next frame the child of the one before it) that you want to attach to the "To..." on the parent. The vertical and horizontal offsets move each child frame relative to the point it attaches to, so it will show a progressive change along a line of loot if the offset is not in the growth direction... Like a horizontal offset on a vertical setup.

    For example, Top -> Bottom attaches the top of each child to the bottom of it's parent, yielding a list that moves down. The way to avoid stacking on itself is to not select the same point. If top anchors to top, left to left, etc, it will appear on itself.

    I'll add a disabled check to disable ones that will yield a infinite stack. And Restacking may be a option. Again, we'll see. =) Thanks for the input.

    Ahh - comprende. :) Thanks a bunch, working like a treat now. :)

    Xuerian, thanks for the reply.

    I forgot to give you props in my last post - so props to you! These add-ons have one of the best configuration schemes i've seen in a long while. Love the icons, and how you've laid it all out.

    Re: documentation, i do have ONE quick question regarding anchor points and such;

    I notice that you have an "anchor" setting - and then a "to.." setting. How do these work together? I was getting strange results with them - i presumed that the "anchor" setting was how items would show against the anchor, ie - top left meaning items would stack on top of each other, on the top left of the anchor point.

    Could you give me some official explanation of these? Also - is there any chance you could do one of two things;

    1/
    Either add an option so you can see HOW these will look upon making a change to these settings or;

    2/
    Avoid letting the user set them up so that the items would stack UPON each other.

    The reason i ask, is that i was testing things out in a Scholo run today - and i'd done something wrong, and all the loot
    frames stacked on TOP of each other - making it really hard to click the right buttons! :)

    Phew - hope that makes sense, and thanks!! :)

    Are the Group Loot frames specific to XLoot Monitor? If so - could we split this out so as per the above post, it's an optional addon?

    I've never really had the need for XLoot Monitor before, but i'd certainly like the Group Loot Frames. :)

    posted a message on Prat: Chat Mod Framework
    Hey ya'll,

    I've just recently installed Prat and set it up - and i'm loving it. Finally, a chat mod that covers all that i need. :)

    I have encountered a minor issue though. I like to setup my combat log so that it has a smaller font, and is right aligned. I can accomplish this easily enough with Prat, of which i do (Using the FuBar plugin) however - upon closing down the client and reloading, the font size and right alignment are not remembered. (Everything else is though...)

    Is this a known problem, or is there a solution i've missed in previous threads?

    Thanks!

    Hm? As far as I know the patch I merged earlier this week by Pastamancer sorts units in the same group by class. So if you select the "group everything together" menu, you will get one big group sorted by class. I am pretty sure it works.

    I'm fairly certain it works too.

    The last raid i was in, was using r13916. I've upgraded since then, so perhaps the merge happened after that release? :)

    What about my questions re the portrait and "sticky" groups? :)

    I've got a couple of small requests - i'm not entirely sure if they're possible at the moment or not, so please pipe up if they've already been implemented and i've missed'em. :)

    Firstly..

    1/
    Grouping of raid frames - i like the setting where you can group all raid frames together, however - it doesn't appear to group these frames based on class. Is it possible to do this? IE - Instead of having seperate group headers for each class - have them under all one heading, but ordered by class.

    2/
    As opposed to the above option - an ability to have the class "groups" snap together.

    The reason i mention this, is that it's a pain to have to re-layout your raid groups constantly. For example, i stack all of mine down the right side of my screen - however - if the groups are re-configured by the raid leader, then i'd have to fiddle with them again. If say the top group only had 3 members in the first instance, and then is reconfigured to have 5 - it then overlaps the group below it because it has grown.

    Essentially i'd like an easier way to layout the raid groups, or have the ability to lump them all under one group and an option to order them.

    Easy or no? :)

    Secondly.. is it possible to have an option to scale the portrait differently to the rest of the frame?

    Thirdly.. I notice that the status icon sits UNDER the portrait, which looks kinda wierd.

    Ta!
