    1. About stuff not working in the "live" version: I code on the wotlk branch, as there is probably not long time until wotlk is released. I don't know how often I can be arsed to backport it and fix the changes. Sorry!

    2. The default ABF layout will not have text strings that float outside the window. Lucky for you guys you can write your own layout and make it do whatever you want.

    3. Layout options such as bar width and order is coming.

    Disable all other stuff you have running. You will notice it and works and that the error is caused because you're running another addon that includes old Ace3 libraries, incompatible with wotlk.

    I'm not much into full 3D models myself and where would you want it placed? Inside the frame? Next to? I don't think that is something I would write, but the whole deal is modular now, so you or someone else could work on it, it shouldn't be hard I guess!

    Thanks, that is something I missed! Very easy to fix, but I need to write something else there instead of just putting an if around it :)

    You have to edit ag_UnitFrames/layouts/ABF.lua to change the font size... It might look difficult but it's not, just look for the the places where it says FontSize, and change that number. If that's too much don't worry, I'll release a new unit frame soon where it will be changeable in-game.

For example, my UI places/sizes the chat and combat windows rather specifically. As far as I know or have seen, there's no way to manage this placement with an addon, it relies on the layout cache.

    You can move the chat windows through Lua code afaik.

    Layouts will be able to provide options that will integrate into the options frame though, so this mean that you will be able to set the bar heights or bar order through the GUI.

    Lets say I include this with my addon, and it is the only unit frame running. If the user doesn't want fast updates, can the events of this lib be unregistered so that it doesn't use cpu/mem? I might be more inclined to include a separate implementation of this, because I would have better control over when it was enabled or disabled.

    For example, the tooltip could need continuous updates for as long as it is visible. And it is not possible to know when the tooltip actually is visible, some displays might not do it on leave (it could be kept visible if the mouse was over the tooltip but outside the frame).

    But yeah, I can just make it do show/hide itself I guess. Or hook the OnHide of the tooltip passed to OnTooltipShow. I think I'll do that :P
