    Suggestion: Make a toggle to show the number of any given type of poison you have left.

    Maybe just in the tooltip. Its tedious to have to rightclick the fubar icon, then chose main/offhand and first then be able to see the amount of poisons I have left.

    One-click application of poisons is also something I'm waiting for. Maybe a "shift-leftclick = apply mainhand, shift-rightclick = apply offhand" - and then have it pick the poison you've marked in the list of stuff in your inventory.

    I second that. Perhaps a list of items to always put at the end in the "trash group" - regardless of what other group they are in. Grey stuff is just sellloot, but some white items are sell on sight as well (at least for me).

    If you want to replace your addons with working ace-versions, Ace2 might not be the best place to start. Ace2 is itself in beta, and all addons using it are also in beta. So your questions might be in the wrong part of the forum.

    But you might want to check out http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php/topic,1591.0.html here you can see a list of the more stable Ace1 addons to replace other known non-Ace addons. Otherwise I would suggest you go by http://www.wowinternface.com and check out the Ace part of the site - you can find lots of addons, read their descriptions etc.

    That is not what we are discussing here, quite the opposite. With Periodic Table you can create a set or collection of items - and give these items a value.

    Or you can use Engravings to add a note to specific items.

    I've added a custom set with the items my guild gives DKP and added that to Mendeleev/Periodic Table. That way it shows in the tooltip for those items.

    The only drawback to this approach is that the list is difficult to maintain, unless you know the ID for the items you need to change. Because the "list" is only the item id and the value.

    You could also add them all to Engraving - but Im afraid it will eat up too many ressources.

    No easy way to get all the names/id's without going through them manually Im afraid. AFAIK there is no list.

    PeriodicTable has all the ID's, but you cant see what the item is before you look the id up.

    I've started adding stuff to a modified version of Engravings - takes a while because I want to have comments for each entry (so its easy to update any pricechanges)

    Use Mendeleev - most highend loot is in there with itemID. Otherwise look them up on wow.allakhazam.com to get the id.

    Also FryListDKP does more than show what price the items have - it is meant to show lists of players and their dkp etc.

    I only want a simple and small addon I can throw to all interested in the guild - so they can see how much the items cost - and I dont have to look it up on the website and tell them each time they ask :)

    Since ExoticMaterial seems to be dead, I decided to try to make something myself. However, I cant quite figure out how PeriodicTable and Mendeleev works.

    I can see that its possible to add more info after the item id (16850:XXX) so I figure it would be the way to add my guilds DKP value.

    Since all (or almost all) the items worth DKP are already in PT/Elements/Raid/PTEmbedElemRaid.lua it is probably easier if I use this file to make a custom itemset?

    My problem is that I dont understand much of how the itemset is made. And I cant figure out how Mendeleev fetches the info (:XXX) and uses it. From what I can see, the version on wowi has dropchances for some items using this :XXX feature.

    So I could use a hand to make these small changes to Mendeleev and PeriodicTable to include my guilds dkpset. Or at least a HOWTO - because this seems to be a very easy and simple change - it might be time consuming, but its not something that require lots of new code.

    I just cant make my brain see how these sets are created, and how I add the dkp price to each itemid.

    Edit: I'm wondering, would I be better off using a modified version of Engravings, than modifying Mendeleev?

    Been running with it for a few days now - still havent noticed any heavy load. Memorywise it didnt really add anything. And I havent noticed any performance issues either.

    The author is very active and it seems like MetaMap is made out of modules. Dont know if you can just delete the ones you dont need, but it seems to only load them if you turn the features on. (Waypoints, BossLoottables, boss locations - that sort of thing)

    I recently threw in MetaMap and Im quite happy about it. It replaces Atlas for me, and it has mapnotes.

    Its not Ace, and I havent really tested how performance and memory heavy it is, but it seems quite ok.
