Is it possible that "ignore by level" doesn't ignore spam messages? I've been under the assumption that ignore by level is a blanket, higher order rule than the spam catcher and would simply ignore any and all messages from players below the set threshold. Is that not the case? I ask as a non-friend, non-guildie lowbie was being correctly ignored, but I was still seeing notifications about spam messages from level 1 players. Just curious. Thanks!

Last time I checked it was working properly, but I have to admit that that has been quite a while. I will run some tests and get back to you.

No rush from here, though I'll offer up thanks in advance...

Hi is it possible to block whispers from lvl 1's? Lately it seems it is the method of choice for godmods and lvling spammers. I got 10 from 10 different ones in like 20-30 minutes.

"/spamsentry" will show you the SS options. Just dig in there and you'll find an ignore by level option.

That said, that options hasn't been working for me personally lately. I'm pretty sure I have it turned on and set to 40, but I still see a lot of level 1 whispers, most of which get flagged. I'm not sure if it's an issue on my side or what... I've been too busy to really dig into it.

I've been having Auto Bar issues the last couple days...

    Date: 2008-01-10 16:27:33
    ID: 77
    Error occured in: Global
    Count: 1
    Message: ..\AddOns\AutoBar\Core.lua line 399:
attempt to index global 'AutoBarSearch' (a nil value)
    Debug:
      Ace2\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua:301: TriggerEvent()
      Ace2\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua:914:
       Ace2\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua:907

I'm running the latest Ace2 packages courtesy of WAU. I went ahead and did a clean install after I started seeing this bug, but it persists.

I'm seeing no Autobar, though I can futz with the options. I click "Move the bars" and nothing happens. Also, the error above appears on start-up as well as when doing things such as mounting.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

Never mind... Issue went away today. Not sure why.

For some reason the .zip files from http://code.google.com/p/jwowupdater/downloads/list are showing up as corrupted when I try to unpack them. Anyone else having this issue? I only checked the last couple revisions, so perhaps it's a recent problem...?

Meh. It's a work in progress. WAU gets you works in progress. People have been warned about that a zillion times in a multitude of different arenas. Those same people have also been warned to back-up their AddOn's prior to running WAU. Just be thankful that the WoW Ace community is on the ball, tends to move quickly on problems and has provided you with a way to easily grab the latest fixes and improvements.

Sure, it was a shock to see something new and obviously not 100% polished, but after about 30 seconds of frustration and borderline anger I _was_ able to get things working pretty much as they have in the past. Is it perfect? No. Is it better? Debatable, but probably eventually. Is it worth bitching at Toad about? Definitely not given that most of us AutoBar users would be seriously lost without it. Give it a few weeks. Assume a pleasant tone, post suggestions and the details of whatever bugs you encounter and keep updating. You'll be fine.

A shadow priest in my raid said the latest revision from last night still gave him very inaccurate results. Sorry I don't have more concrete data. Is there something wrong with the calculations for Vampiric Touch and Vampiric Embrace?

I was on my Shadow Priest in a Black Morass run last night and kept pulling agro on the Rift Lords despite Omen reporting that I was at least 2k or more in threat behind the MT. He was running KTM, I was running Omen. Everyone in the party observed the same thing, so yeah, I'm thinking the VT/VE calculations might be off. I haven't noticed this before, though I usually run with tanks that generate more threat so it's probably less of an evident issue with them.

For those that don't know, you can get tekKompare from WoWinterface.com, Google Code or direct from Tekkub's Google SVN (with a client) at http://tekkub-wow.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/.

Thanks... I was just coming here to ask. ;-)

And next time just try reloading your UI instead of Alt-F4, unless your game is unresponsive.

Oh, I know. I use tons of AddOns, which is probably the root of this issue. I also wiped out all SMM and reinstalled as part of that Alt-F4/reboot, just to make sure I had a completely clean install.

I'm having the weirdest issue. SMM appears to be loading, but I can't make any changes to it. Both "/smm" and "/smm show" behave as expected, but when I type "/smm show time" I'm unable to hit the <return> key. I can keep type anything except <return> after "show." Delete everything after show and the <return> is just fine. Other SMM options seem to be behaving this way, as well.

I just Alt-F4'd and rebooted... I'm seeing the following message when I start-up:

    Message: ..\AddOns\simpleMinimap\simpleMinimap.lua line 434:
attempt to perform arithmetic on field '?' (a nil value)

Anyone have any suggestions? This is the only Ace mod I'm having issues with... Everything else is working great. I read back a couple pages but didn't see this peculiarity mentioned. Thanks in advance.

    *STILL* not automatically applying lures.

Aye, I just realized that Auto-Lure is in there, just not working at the moment.

I think if you added the ability to auto-apply a lure, Fishing Ace would be complete.

Amen to that. I like and use Fishing Buddy, but only for the double-click cast, the auto-loot and the auto-lure. I can do without all the tracking, outfits, etc.
