That's correct, when you filtered Mine, Part, and Raid that effects what events it processes not what data is being displayed. Because the mob was attacking you therefore it was processed (otherwise it couldn't calculate how much damage you take). If you want the view to be filtered to only show damage done by you, your party or your raid you have to edit the damage filter.

Fall damage being credited to "No One" is correct as well since "No One" did the damage.

Right, I thought the filters would apply to the source only for the damage view, and I hadn't really looked at what the individual section filters did!

Then I'm wondering if you're planning to add any kind of profiling system so that I can use the same settings and filters on all my characters?

Thanks! I can't see any cooldown timer on the totem buttons now, though. Visual nor numeric. (timer bars do work)

Also, could you add a border to the Blizzard button style? Kind of like TrinketMenu has.

With r166 a mob that hit me appeared on Damage done, having only Mine, Party and Raid filters enabled.

Fall damage is being credited to "No One".

I reckon it's been protected from the moment it was implemented, or you'd be able to make all kinds of smart macros, wouldn't you?

posted a message on "New site" FAQ?
Hi,
first of all I must say I like these new forums! But I think a FAQ post about the new site would be good. (there isn't one, is there?) In any case, I'm wondering:

- What will happen to files.wowace.com? Will there be a similar page somewhere (is that the Projects section here?), will that site still be used or will there not be anything like it at all?
- Will we find "WoWAce addons" at Curseforge as well and vice versa or will they be separated, or what about all that stuff?
- Is there gonna be a "one-thread-per-addon"-forum or is the Addon Discussion supposed to be just that?

I didn't really read the thread where this merge was announced on the old forums. Again, I hope I didn't miss a really obvious place where I would find this info.

Thanks

Now Includes the first attempt for a coe style mode cooldowns (very alpha)

Is this supposed to be a visual cooldown effect like the default action buttons have? 'cause in that case it's not working for me.

I have some feature requests!
- An option to increase the distance between the four totem bar buttons.
- Make the popup buttons slightly smaller than the main button.
- A way to sort the totems. (or is there already?)

Thanks

Fair enough, but what part of the addon creates the tainted link, then? If that's a valid question.

Okay. There's also the ever-annoying target tainting.. is a solution possible/reasonable? I'm talking about the Target option in player link menus and typing '/tar' then shift-clicking a player name to insert it into the edit box, then enter. The former doesn't appear, and the latter generates an error message.

Edit:
Message: Error: AddOn Ace3 attempted to call a forbidden function (TargetUnit()) from a tainted execution path.
Debug:
[C]: TargetUnit()
..\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:1020: ?()
..\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:3135:
..\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:3106
[C]: ChatEdit_ParseText()
..\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:2873: ChatEdit_SendText()
..\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:2894: ChatEdit_OnEnterPressed()
[string "*:OnEnterPressed"]:1:
[string "*:OnEnterPressed"]:1

It works when I disable Prat (and leave Ace3 enabled).

Right, discovered some things:

- All sections where chat frames are supposed to be listed for selection (ie: choosing which frames to enable scrolling, timestamps etc for) are empty

- Scrolling works for the General chat frame, not the combat log (again, I've had no possibility to choose what frames to enable it for)

- I did something with edit box texture options and now it looks weird, like a black frame covering it. "Fixed" it by setting texture opacity to 0%

- Some of the editbox dropdowns doesn't seem to have a default value (strata, texture, border), dunno if this is intended, but it can be good to know what it was before you did anything

This is on beta.

Quote from OrionShock »

This is not a Prat issue, unless the externals are set wrong.
You need to download / use the WotLK branch of Ace3 while on the beta realms.

'SetTextFontObject' == Live
'SetTextNormalFontObject' == BETA (It has normal in there somewhere)

Right, I suspected that.. however, I have no idea where to get it.

Edit: Found it, I guess.

Ok, I got rid of the login error, but the following error appears upon selecting the Prat, Prat: Chat formatting and Prat: Display settings subcategories in the Ace3 config GUI: (they are also empty)

I was gonna test this today, but I got a little confused. Obviously you said it used Ace3, but I didn't know it wasn't embedded (is isn't, right?). Anyway, I had already downloaded Ace3 from files.wowace.com so that I could get the GUI config stuff, but I got a bunch of errors regarding Prat and Ace3. One at login (something about "revision - a nil value"), others when I opened various Ace3 config menus. I can post the errors if needed, but first I though I'd ask if I've done something wrong. Like, am I supposed to get the Ace3 from files.wowace.com? Is Ace3 supposed to be embedded but I messed up at the SVN part? Something else?

I was shocked tonight when I tried to enter the WoWAce General addons forum, and it said I had been banned! I tried another subforum, and it said the same. So I tried logging out to see if I could at least browse the forums for a potential thread about this would-be bug, and I think it went back to normal after logging back in again. (obviously it's working as I type)

I'm just wondering if anyone knows why this happened? No, I'm quite sure I have no reasons to be banned. :P

Sorry if this is the wrong forum btw, didn't know where to post otherwise.
