Playing on the beta client, I've found that:

- I can't edit options for text alignment, time stamps and possibly more on the combat log, only the General chat frame.

- When using channel name abbreviations (rather than channel name replacement), a space is included after the [abbreviation], before [name]. There is no space using the regular channel name replacement. "Show space" is unchecked.

Also, could you add to some module, an option that will remove the space that is included before an inserted link?

Thanks

Sorry for bumping my own post, but I still have these issues (and request) using r56.

Though the second issue I realised it's probably more like the "Show space" option is only being applied to channel name replacements and not channel abbreviations, which always have a space.

And while I'm at it, in a previous version I added "LFG" as a replacement for "LookingForGroup", but I can't find it anywhere now. Not in channel abbrevs, not in channel name replacements. The channel name is still being modified to "LFG", however.
Edit: It appeared later.. possibly after a relog, shouldn't it already have been there, though?

Enabling (in game) the Timestamps module causes the following (possibly more) message types to have their timestamp displayed twice:
- Creature say
- Emote
- Channel (left, joined, etc - not chat messages)
- Loot (money and items)
Goes away as soon as you relog/reload.

Enabling the experimental module(s) causes the font shadow of the timestamps to disappear. It also adds an extra space after the timestamps.

Pre 3.0, locking chat settings in the Interface options disabled the chat frames' fade effect. It no longer does. Could such an option be included in some module?

Lastly, is every module really supposed to have its own profile as I've gotten the impression they do in the saved variables?

Thanks

Edit: One more thing. The scroll down reminder button. It doesn't hide when you reach the bottom, not until you scroll down one more time, it just stops flashing. It also appears when you try to scroll up, but there's actually nothing to scroll. (eg, all the text fits into the chat frame currently)

As far as I've noticed, it works fine in 3.0

But of course, everyone loves updates!

Perhaps this has been asked before, but is there no way you could make the direction arrows reposition correctly when using a non-circular layout?

I could've, but I'm nowhere near qualified for it, I'm afraid. :(

Sorry to pester you, but I just have to ask if you found anything regarding global cooldown on the buttons and also the Blizzard-style border when not using ButtonFacade.

Thanks

Edit: Oh and, I've been meaning to report this, but it wasn't that urgent. When loading Yata on a non-shaman character I'm getting various errors (attempt to index global 'Yata' (a nil value)). I realise I have no reason to use Yata on non-shaman characters, but no one likes errors. :)

I'm wondering, what's the point with the "delay skinning" feature? I mean, is there a reason why you'd want a delay, 'cause I can't think of any. Related to performance?

Also, would it be unnecessary to use Skinner if I just want to skin my tooltips? Is there another addon that does this?

- The swap/no-swap keys won't work without auto-switch (with auto-switch disabled it behaves exactly like the old yata)

- Not showing any global cooldown will be only possible with bars I think, not with the button cooldowns.

Sorry, I meant that global cooldown currently isn't displayed on the totem buttons.

I was thinking, that maybe when you have auto switch enabled; press swap and the totem will be put on the main button (totem won't be cast). No swap I'm not sure if there'd be a use for in this mode.

Thanks for your answers

Just tried r50, and...

The totem set feature looks nice, but
- This is an odd issue. When I first went to the layout editor and created a set, the dropdown menu wasn't created. I had to first close the editor and reopen it, and there it was. In addition, the dropdown menu isn't visible if I just viewed the "Totem buttons" or "Totem timers" options sections before going to "Totem bar" and opening the editor. It's again visible after closing and reopening the editor.

- Is there any easy way of changing set? If not, could you add that? A keybinding or a slash command would do.

- The swap and no-swap keys doesn't seem to do anything while having auto-switch disabled.

- Unchecking Short tooltips doesn't show any tooltip at all.

- Lastly, just want to bump the global cooldowns not displaying on the totem buttons. Or was that not possible?

Ok, thanks for answers!

Edit: Just for clarification, I was thinking of Blizzard button style without using ButtonFacade at all.

about the size of the icon etc. that is actually the official CooldownFrame_SetTimer and BuffFrame_UpdateDuration functions in use. I won't modify them, I guess there are other addons out for that.

Sorry, I meant the size and position of the numeric timer that appears below the button. Or was that what you meant, too? Anyway, it's kind of partly hidden behind the button using the Blizzard style. Either displaying it inside the button, with a larger font, or below the button with some dark background would be good imo. (can be hard to see in light environments)

- The "Auto switch button" options doesn't want to uncheck.

- Could you include the full totem description in the tooltip? (instead of just the name) And maybe display it in the Layout config view, too.

- It would also be good if you could use a hotkey to put a totem on the totem menu to the main totem button, so to speak. (without throwing down the totem) Maybe the possibility to configure totem sets, with the ability to easily switch sets? Like PvE/PvP. Not that important, but would be neat.

- Lastly, would you consider including the Blizzard button style by default?

Sorry if I'm just appearing to imply that this addon is missing too many features, but I'm just saying what I'd like in the perfect totem addon. ;) I can of course understand if you won't include any of it for any reason. I can live with it, a (good) totem addon is invaluable! :)

Ooh ;x Thanks, hehe. How could I have missed that the zip files were named "nolib"! You'd think that the version with embedded libraries would be set as default download, though.

Hello,
I've noticed several addons I've downloaded lately has no embedded libraries even though they are required, Skinner being one of them. What's this all about (or is it just a coincidence?) and whhat am I supposed to do about it?

Okay, got it working now, but there seemed to be some errors in embeds.xml. It said
<Include file="Libs\LibBars-1.0\lib.xml"/>
<Include file="Libs\LibKeyBound-1.0\lib.xml"/>
<Include file="Libs\LibSharedMedia-3.0\lib.xml"/>
rather than
<Include file="Libs\LibBars-1.0\LibBars-1.0.xml"/>
<Include file="Libs\LibKeyBound-1.0\LibKeyBound-1.0.xml"/>
<Include file="Libs\LibSharedMedia-3.0\LibSharedMedia-3.0.xml"/>
Global cooldown isn't reflected on the totem buttons, and the numeric button timer could be a bit larger. Or maybe some options to hide it, change size (and position and font?).

Other than that it looks nice. :D

Edit: I found that my fire totem menu was gone when I logged in next time, it behaved a little odd before I logged out last time. Only thin I can think of is tampering with various options while I had a fire totem active. My savedvariables now look like this:
[...]
["ElementsOrder"] = {
"Earth", -- [1]
"Air", -- [2]
"Water", -- [3]
[5] = "Fire",
},
[...]

Edit2: Clicking the "Totem buttons" options section I get this error, having disabled ButtonFacade:
...nfig-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0.lua line 1121:
attempt to index local 'values' (a nil value)

Right, I don't really understand all this SVN stuff, but anyway... in the latest build I found on the project page (0.0.3 or r32), there are no embedded libraries included.
