I don't know if there's any new API for this, but I doubt it. Dividing by 10000 and 100 and using % is an easy (and good?) solution, and there's no real reason not do to so.

Nov 1, 2008Could we have an option to lock the map, please?Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
Also, just thought I'd ask if it's intended that the "Profile" options subsection is at the top? Most addons have it at the bottom. Thought that maybe it's related to that bug some which existed at some point where the order was reversed...
Oct 31, 2008I'm afraid I'm getting several of these on login for different shapes:Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
Message: AceLocale-3.0: SexyMap: Missing entry for 'Rounded - Top Left' Debug: ...ddOns\AtlasLoot\Libs\AceLocale-3.0\AceLocale-3.0.lua:19: ...ddOns\AtlasLoot\Libs\AceLocale-3.0\AceLocale-3.0.lua:18 sexymap\Shapes.lua:211: in main chunk
In addition to this:
Message: ..\AddOns\sexymap\ZoneText.lua line 185: bad argument #2 to 'max' (number expected, got nil)
Oct 28, 2008Better bug report:Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
I downloaded the latest version and deleted my saved variables. I then logged in and chose the Default profile.
- The default minimap border appeared, and the option to toggle it seemed to be inverted.
- At first the minimap was also locked in place, had to tick and untick the option to be able to move it.
- Scroll-zooming the minimap gives me this error:
Message: ..\AddOns\sexymap\AutoZoom.lua line 44: attempt to compare number with nil Debug: [C]: ? sexymap\AutoZoom.lua:44: sexymap\AutoZoom.lua:43 (tail call): ? [C]: SetZoom() ..\FrameXML\Minimap.lua:141: Minimap_ZoomInClick() sexymap\Buttons.lua:208: sexymap\Buttons.lua:204- Clicking the Zone Button options subsection gives me:

- Trying to drag a minimap button gives me:
Message: ..\AddOns\sexymap\Buttons.lua line 237: attempt to perform arithmetic on field 'radius' (a nil value) Debug: [C]: ? sexymap\Buttons.lua:237: sexymap\Buttons.lua:226 sexymap\Buttons.lua:247: sexymap\Buttons.lua:245All of this was after I chose the Default profile. Everything (or, at least these issues) worked before that.
In addition, all the minimap buttons are all bunched up initially, I think it would be better if they were at their original positions. Maybe it's not intended? And perhaps an option to disable dragging.
That's all, bye SexyMap!
EDIT: The issues that appeared after choosing Default profile were gone upon relogging, but appeared as soon as I changed to another profile again.
Oct 28, 2008Actually, "style" is a change I made. Using "inherits" (which it did before) the text isn't visible.Posted in: Lua Code Discussion
I found this in UIPanelTemplates.xml and so I did it the same way.
<Button name="UIPanelButtonTemplate" virtual="true"> <ButtonText name="$parentText"> <Anchors> <Anchor point="CENTER"> <Offset> <AbsDimension x="0" y="1"/> </Offset> </Anchor> </Anchors> </ButtonText> <NormalFont style="GameFontNormal"/> <HighlightFont style="GameFontHighlight"/> <DisabledFont style="GameFontDisable"/> <NormalTexture inherits="UIPanelButtonUpTexture"/> <PushedTexture inherits="UIPanelButtonDownTexture"/> <DisabledTexture inherits="UIPanelButtonDisabledTexture"/> <HighlightTexture inherits="UIPanelButtonHighlightTexture"/> </Button>
Oct 28, 2008Hi SexyMap, you are hot!Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
I have noticed something funny about profiles, too. Loading the Default profile, the default minimap border appears, and slightly below the minimap.
Oh and, could you add an option not to bring up the config when you touch her gently with the right mouse button? :)
Oct 27, 2008Thanks, but how would I do if I wanted to set Highlight and Disable font, as well? Anyway, I found that I could just as well use some of the font templates instead. Not sure why they didn't do that before.Posted in: Lua Code Discussion
Oct 27, 2008Couldn't find anything in ActionButtonTemplate, but I've looked at the other two and tried with the "system fonts" instead (they gave me a white font colour regardless of what I provided), I tried inherits instead of style, but I can't get it to work.Posted in: Lua Code Discussion
Oct 26, 2008I realise this is a Lua forum, but I hope it'll do. ;)Posted in: Lua Code Discussion
I'm wondering how I'm supposed to set a button's text colour in Xml? I'm trying to update an outdated addon. The old code looks like this, which gives me that standard yellowish colour:
<Button name="MyButton" virtual="true"> <Size> <AbsDimension x="100" y="20" /> </Size> <NormalFont style="GameFontNormal"> <Color r="1" g="0.82" b="1"/> </NormalFont> </Button>
I've tried using FontColor instead of Color, but no difference. I also tried FontColor outside the NormalFont scope, but that made the actual GameFontNormal template font text coloured.
Thanks for any help.
Oct 23, 2008Using 126.96.36.199 I noticed that, in the Visibility options, changing the "Friendly pets" option doesn't do anything, instead friendly pets go under the "Friendly NPCs" option. Also, critters' nameplates aren't hidden when disabling them, they are hidden if you disable "Neutral units", though.Posted in: General AddOns
