Yep, I've reported it again, but the entire Curse platform is on "no development of any kind, not even critical bugfixing" status while they're devoting all their efforts to developing a new even more annoying platform... despite the fact that they've been working on it for 2+ years and there are some REALLY obnoxious bugs that would REALLY be nice if they would fix. :mad:

Hello, after latest update from curse my grid got downgraded to some shit old version, so i updated it after from wowace, no problem. But what happenedafter, my options to adjust raid layout for set amount of ppl disappeared, and right now i am facing quite a big problem for me. In mythic HFC i need my grid to show 4 group of 5 ppl, so layour for 20 ppl. But for soem strange reason, its showing also the substitutes which are in groups 7 or 8, and its totally doing mess on ym screen, having 4 proper group, then few empty then few player in last two groups being shown as well. Any solution to fix this ?

What version number are you using? If you are using the latest beta version, you may want to try rolling back to the last release version.

Yes, the beta version is automatic. The release version is manual. We probably need a version with both options. Although there are options that can improve the automatic like hiding groups where everyone is in a different zone for raids that have sitting groups.

thanks, swithching to release helped. i tried finding those option in the latest beta but i just couldnt find them

Grid was working beautifully until this afternoon's "Required Battlenet Update" (late afternoon PST 8 June 2016) -- now all my profiles are gone (had healing profiles for every healing class), and all settings look to have reverted to default.

Any idea what might have happened? (It's as if a pathname has changed?)

I have an issue where my option menus just show up blank. None of them have setting so I can't customize anything with grid.

Also the only version up is a nolib does that mean I have to download a library from somewhere else.

This was fixed in the new update, but now another issue arises, you can no longer show raid layout in specific party sizes or force the addon to only show a specific number of people.

I only want the addon to show me 25 people in my raid group like previously, but that isn't an option anymore.

I guess these forums are dead?

I haven't done extensive testing (some dungeons and a little raiding tested on my druid, shaman, and priest so far), but there is a known issue with LibResInfo for the new mass resurrection spells.

If you download a -nolib version, then yes you need to manually download the libraries and install them.

Phanx and I have been having problems getting Curse to build Grid. Wowace doesn't support manually uploading zip files (we would have to move to Curseforge). Phanx uploaded a manual build zip file to WoWInterface, but that is giving lua errors (looks like an issue with the localization files probably) so I wouldn't recommend that one. I am sure we can do a manual build that works if Wowace supported uploading zip files, but since it doesn't, it would just be for WoWInterface.

We may be a little slow releasing Legion fixes/updates until this issue on Curse is resolved. If we have to, we will use WoWInterface. However, the current version seems to have no major issues.

What about the change to the group layout so I can't limit the amount of players the addon shows?

Before you could limit it to a certain number. Now the addon just shows everyone in the raid group.

Is that a "feature" or something that was overlooked?

Looks like some step in the manual build replaced "\n" with actual line breaks. After replacing those, the 7.0.3 version works without any problems.

A couple things I've noticed since the prepatch update:

- On some characters, debuffs (like magic debuffs etc) will just flat-out not show up at all, even though nothing about their settings has changed since the prepatch and everything is ticked and looks like it should be in order. This problem seems to be fixed if I disable then re-enable the display of each type of debuff, and relog. So far this has happened on my holy paladin and resto shaman.

- Reloading UI will turn grid into a tiny square box. Need to relog to fix this.

Adding back the option for manual group sizes is on my to-do list. I really need the Curse Grid building issues solved before I can make a lot of changes as I am unable to test builds at the moment.

Flamey, those issues should not be happening and I am unable to reproduce the issue with what you have described. I do not experience either issue. Can you please open a ticket with all the information filled in?

Yes, the option for By Group 25, By Group 40 are gone. Those are what we are missing and need badly. I have space allocated on my UI for just the 5 groups (25 units) and when I get into a raid and some RL throws an afk person into the 8th group, it appears over my buttons.

Barring those options, adding a checkbox to hide 6,7,8 would work as well.

Eka, have you looked at the ByGroup options to hide offline players and players in the wrong zone?

For example, if you have players in group 1-5 and the raid leader puts offline/sitting players in group 6 and you have the options set to hide offline and players in the wrong zone then group 6 will not be shown.

That said, adding back manual options is on my to-do list. I just really need Curse to fix the packaging issue so that I can release updates.

Hey there grid team! Love your work. How do I get grid to only show what I can Dispel? Can i some how set it to only show what my class can dispel?

Just a user here as well but, I assume audience engagement. A lot of people know to look on curse, less people know to look on other sites.
