I assume you are using the latest beta version; this is unstable and largely untested, as noted in the changelog, and there are multiple known issues with the layout system, which is in the middle of being rewritten. If you need full functionality, you should roll back to the lastest release version.
I have been getting that same error for awhile. It also happens if you are using GridStatusPriestAoe which is coincidentally by the same plugin author.
Yes, I deleted it, as it was basically non-functional and I haven't had any time to spend working on it, so there was no point in leaving it up and letting people to continue download broken code and report the same issues over and over.
Hi. I love the addon, however I wonder if there is any way that we can get either 30 man group option or a return of the unclamp option. (So that we can use Group 40 and move the last two groups off screen)
As it stands there is no way of having grid at the edge of the screen while in a 30 man flex group.
Everyone should revert to the latest release version. The beta version was unsuitable for general use, and has been removed; it is not supported.
@Jeniwyn:
No, sorry, you'll just have to live with that for now. I have no plans to update the current layout system to add yet another raid size, and the new system is not finished yet. However, you should be able to work around the issue by changing how you have Grid anchored. For example, if you want to place it against the bottom of the screen, change the anchors so that the layout grows from the bottom instead of from the top. That way, extra layout space will be at the top of the frame, rather than below it, and the visible frames will be against the edge of the screen like you want.
"As Grid is currently written GridInvertedColor is not possible to be implemented. It'll take a pretty big workaround to get it functional again. Something I don't currently have a lot of time to work on."
Well, the author of that plugin is wrong... the main change they'd need to make to update a "mangle the bar colors" plugin would be to simply hook different functions. It's very far from "not possible". However, I have absolutely no interest in doing the work for them (or you) even if I had time, so I guess the end result is the same.

is what I got from the author, damn :/
I think that maybe this thread can help you. It did for me and I was using GridInvertedColor.
Is there any way to create new Status categories under Health like we can with Auras? I'd like to display Health as a Percent and the current plugin for that is fubar.

No, individual auras aren't a whole new way of displaying information, so that system can't be applied to other statuses. You'll have to either wait for the plugin's author to update it, or find another plugin, or write your own.
Currently I'm trying to use frame alpha to indicate out of range units, in Grid2 everything is fine, in Grid(1) however, all frames turn white in addition to getting a different alpha. Can I change that?
I'm going to assume that your range status color is white, in which case the problem is most likely that in addition to assigning it to the frame alpha indicator, you also assigned it to the health bar and/or health bar color. If you only want it to modify the alpha, and not the color, only assign it to the alpha indicator.

There's a ticket about that here but I haven't had time to debug which module is causing that.
There used to be a plugin for that, but I don't remember offhand what it was called. Check the plugin list for "color" or other such keywords.
Thanks. After that error, the next one was from GridStatusDirectionArrow, so maybe it does something wrong (http://www.wowace.com/addons/gridstatusdirectionarrows/tickets/2-error-on-switching-profiles/)
I joined an MC 40man raid today, but could only see 5 players in Grid. How can I make Grid show all 40?
I found this page:
http://www.wowace.com/addons/grid/tickets/337-grid-fails-to-show-proper-raid-size/
However, I cannot find the option:
Grid > Layout > [Group Type/Size] > Select "By Group 40"
What am I missing?

"Out of Range" is only assigned to "Frame Alpha"

This is the thread for Grid, not Grid2.
