544's has fixed the problem to the point where I can see pets in Grid2 again. :) There is still the same error thrown when I take a portal, but the pets still remain visible and interactive.
Grid2 not working properly when playing a warrior.
I tested on several different toons and even more then 1 warrior on different servers. It looks like only my warrior is having errors. Even without loading any other addon.
In screen the boxes where the toons should be shown are completely black. Border is shown, when hovering over with my mouse, highlights work, but no info shows.
The error message is recieve is:

I like Grid2 i cannot let this software die, so this week i could spend some time cleaning de code:
I removed all layer stuff and configuration is saved in a standard way now.
Added profiles and libDualSpec support.
New indicator for raid icons in core.
Grid2 can run without Grid2Options now.
General options using Tabs.
Some bugs fixed.
Is there someone who wants to continue the development or at least have knowledge and some time to support it?
Appears that all originals authors are gone, Jerry has not updated their projects for a month.
I have insufficient knowledge about some parts of Grid2 , especially Grid2Layout code, so i cannot support that, for example i could not fix something like the pets bug.
I no one can help, i think I must keep the work for my guildmates and me, at least until l I have more knowledge about the Grid2Layout stuff.
Sorry Torhal, my english is not very good, it was not my intention to bother anybody using the "gone" word, appears it has some negative connotations i did not knew about.
Jerry has not updated talented addon for patch 4.0.6 so i thought he has left.

I've just switched over to grid2 from grid1. Back in Grid1, I was able to filter a specific debuff to not show up. Is this possible in grid2? And also probably a priority list to display which debuffs comes up first. An example, Fear -> Silence -> Frost Nova.
Hi,

Posible and mandatory, its a basic concept in grid2 configuration, all statuses mapped to an indicator are displayed in a priority list with and arrow up/arrow down to reorder the priority of the statuses. Statuses on top have higher priority.
You may be thinking of GridAlert, which was a plugin for Grid that played sounds for aggro and other statuses, but it was abandoned years ago. Not sure how much work it would be to update and/or convert to a Grid2 plugin.

Yes i know that but what i'm asking for is a debuff filter and an a priority list within a the magic debuff itself. Frost Novas, Fears, Silence all fall under the magic category. For example, My top right hand corner always shows Unstable Afflction and my bottom right is my debuff: magic. I would like to filter unstable affliction out from debuff:magic or has it on the lowest priority compared to Frost Novas etc and would like my debuff: magic to show Crowd Control abilities first. An example would be Fear, Hex, Polymorph.
You could create a debuff group (Statuses->Debuffs-> Debuff group) , but grouped debuffs have no priority.
If you want priorities, you must create all debuffs one by one and use the standard priority list.
I would like to filter unstable affliction out from debuff:magic
I know in Grid, if you create an individual debuff status for Unstable Affliction (or anything else) it won't count toward activating the debuff type statuses; I don't know if Grid2 works the same way, but you could try it and see.
Grid2 does not filter created debuffs from debuffs type statuses.
Its very easy to add this posibility, but i dont know if its really very usefull to work in this way.
Hm, it doesn't work if i add individual magical debuffs and set it to a higher priority than debuff: magic. Would you kindly help me configure a specialized grid2 to filter created debuffs from debuff type statuses?

I'll try to find the time to look at the change in the secure header code. Thanks for your help.

i raided some weeks ago icc 25 hc with my warrior and had no problems (maybe 1 nil error which got bugsacked) but everything was working.
if you use the curseclient and the preffered release (rightclick on the addon) is set to:
beta you get 540.
release -> 545
alpha -> 545
or just get it from:
http://www.wowace.com/addons/grid2/
maybe its spec rellated since my warrior just has a prot spec i can´t say anthing about the other 2 spec´s.
if the problem remains after updating you can try:
/script Grid2DB = nil; Grid2OptionsDB = nil; ReloadUI()
(just past it into the chat -> all options will be reset)

Seriously? A month constitutes "gone"? Try using private messages, see if he's amicable to your changes.

Or was that another addon...
I am trying to get this feature back in my game...
If it was but is no longer supported that is fine...
That feature was removed from grid2 long time ago.
