I am traveling at the moment so I cannot test this for a while. Are you saying that if you go to layouts and select 1 of the various options for solo / 5 man that you see nothing?
yes, i also tryed 10 / 25 man layout + relog but the only thing that worked was to downgrade to 155 (156 not tested)
A couple options/features from Grid I would like to see implemented in Grid2 if at all possible.
First off is the HoT countdown. I would like the option rather or not I see the decimal point when the countdown is below 5 seconds. Basically I want to see the decimal (3.2 for example) for my Lifebloom, because its important to know exactly when it will run out. However, I don't care to see the decimal for my other HoTs such as Wild Growth, Regrowth, and Rejuv, because its not nearly as important to know exactly when those will run out, even though I still need to see the countdown timer...and having the extra decimal point per countdown just clutters the frame when u have several HoTs running. The original Grid functioned exactly like this, and I would like to see it brought back in Grid2.
Secondly is the Incoming Heals. Grid had the option to toggle "Ignore Self" for Incoming Heals, which I really loved. I know how much my heals are going to land for when I'm casting them, I don't need to see that info in Incoming Heals. I only care to see other people's Incoming Heals so its easier for me to decide who desperately needs a heal and who is already getting taken care of, if that makes sense.
Lastly, I can't seem to get Death, Feign Death, Offline, etc to show up on the second line of text, nor can I get the frames to change color when one of those things occurs. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I tried to set it up just like how I have Grid setup and those things dont appear.
Anyway, I'm really liking the direction Grid2 is headed. Its come along ways and its currently very usable and is easier to configure and understand than Grid. Thanks for the hard work you guys put into this!
I think it almost works, but I need to go through the activation logic sometime and also test all 3 statuses. I know resurrection-incoming shows up sometimes at least.
In the original Grid, the ghost debuff icon would display if you assigned death to the center icon. I assume that's what you mean by death icon?
Using release 173, I am no longer seeing my pet when I'm in a 5-man group. I see my pet when solo and other people's pets while grouped, but not my own while grouped.
I just downloaded the latest version of Grid2 and get bad errors:

I have to say i am loving grid2, it has everything that i used to have to add as mini addons as standard and the delay is aggro indication is gone. YEY!!
I cant seem to get access to the grid2raidstatusdebuffs options. I would like to be able to select what debuffs i want shown, (eg sanity is really pointless for me to see and it only serves as a distraction when i am looking for more important things) a simple option to turn off or on what debuffs you would like shown would be lovely. (Or is this already there and i cant see it for looking?)
Another change i would like is the border size of each individual frame, i use that for aggro indicator and its far to thin, would it be possible to have a slider to set it to the size you like?
I could always just ramp the scale up and then make everything smaller like i had to with grid, but if i could avoid that it would be much appreciated
Sorry one last thing i cant seem to see an option to make or save profiles, i have a few alts and i have grid setup completely different from my main (resto druid) on a few of them.
Again i might just be blind and not seen it, point me in the right direction if its there please.
Even tho there are those 3 setbacks for the way i would like it to run, i am still using grid2 over grid for raiding. Keep up the good work its turning into a really nice addon now. Thanks for your time and effort in getting this built and running.
Make sure you reset SV (button under the debugging options) and use the latest alpha versions. The beta and release ones were just to get the packager going.

--Added a role status, it uses the blizzard system and icons.
--Added a wide layout. It may need more work or more versions.
--Frame border size can now be 1-8 wide.
--fixes vehicles for party group at least, possibly raid as well. I should probably back out the guid stuff. Pastamancer says it didn't pan out as planned in Grid anyway.
--"aggro" has become "threat" and now uses the Blizzard api for that. I noticed in raid last night that it flashes temporarily at the start when many raid members may have more threat than the tank.
It will also later show for people that have higher threat than the tank, and probably downgrade the tank to insecurely tanking at that point.
I am switching to custom colors for this, in raid last night it seemed to all be red when using the Blizzard threat colors.
The next step is to split out settings for class/spec and then start cleaning up the ui and code.

Weird, Curse Client does not show http://www.wowace.com/projects/status-aura-group/
I tagged a release. I think that should fix the issue.
thanks

It defaults to being attached to text-down.

Sure, provide the texture path and I will add it. (Or a mod that has one.)

Yes, I'm missing this icon. I don't like "DEAD" people, but with the skull icon
I can see dead people.

This is not done yet, so at the moment its a single player setup. Discussion is here: Grid2 universal / shared settings
If the defaults happen to work for you, then you can reset from the debugging menu when switching.
The rest of your stuff is on the ToDo list.

-- death icon

vehicles targetable (ulduar 25 @ flame) but the driver is not target/click able.
does the name lenght limit also apply for vehiclenames? (breaking layout because it uses 2 lines / long names)
