Ok, have been playing with this for a little while and really enjoying it.
However, is there a way to have a frame AND center text alpha fade with range, but still have the text show deficit health? Currently when out of range just the name shows regardless of how damaged they are.
Edit: it doesn't hide the blizz frames? It still shows the party. I know grid isn't designed for 5mans, but I seems pretty useful like that.
Edit2: Pastamancer said he won't add it.
Also is there a way to add leader/assistant/masterlooter/pvp icons to the frames? Perhaps as a module (hmm, I should go look at that).
I've just started experimenting with grid and my first impression is great.
I play a holy priest and I currently use a mod called Healbot to do all of my healing. However, I like many of the features grid+clique offeres over healbot. However, my biggest reason for not switching over all the way is that I have not found an option nor am I sure it exists for grid to handle incoming heals the way healbot does.
Rather than just notifying that a heal is incoming, healbot also shades in the portion of the players healthbard that it expects the heal that is incoming to fill. Is this an option I've missed or is this available with one of the many grid addons out there?
I thought I saw one on WoWInterface, but I can't find it now, so I may be mistaken. If it doesn't already exist you (or someone else) could use the PitBull Estimated Heals plugin as a model and adapt it for Grid.
An option to control the alpha value for the alpha change indicator. I'd like the "faded out" frames to be a bit less visible than they are currently.
You could try ClassColors here on the SVN. I downloaded it last night on my way to bed after realizing that the new shaman color was horrible, but didn't have time to test it. Hopefully it'll do the trick; the blue is way darker than the other class colors and is really hard to read in color combations that make the other class colors easy to read. :(
First, I absolutely love this addon. Grid and Clique has been a godsend. However, the program just stopped working.
While trying to fix a crash, I ended up clearing all my past data. I've reset clique and grid, but now the two programs aren't working together. When I click on a frame in Grid, all I do is select it as my target. I used to be able to use Clique to cast all of my spells directly in Grid.
I've got a feeling that I'm forgetting something very simple. Any suggestions? (And it's not a 2.1 issue, because I didn't have a problem last night after the patch.)
Using deDe-client and latest Svn versions of Ace2addons, i'm getting this error when rightclicking on the Grid FuBar icon:

With 2.1 is anyone getting an error where the minimap button doesn't do anything? It worked prior to 2.1, but not the next day.
I have changed maps and moved other buttons around to no avail. I haven't yet disabled all other mods except for grid but I have disabled some of the more likely candidates. I'll disable all of them tonight and check.
Probably a mod conflict (I use Trinity Bars, MetaHud, X-Perl and Fubar but not Fubar-Grid) but thought I would check here.
Grid still working fabulously for me - thanks to Pasta and the others for a great mod.
After seeing several videos of Grid in action, i noticed a few were mousing over the Grid display and healing that way, wondered if thats achieved literally by a mouseover macro, or a module available for Grid perhaps. any ideas? obviously a mouseover macro is by far the easiest.
edit: question on the side related to this: is there such a mod that allows for mouseover functionality for all spells? (within reason) because macroing all spells is painful :P
