Is it possible to add a black border to indicators?
E.g. the debuff indicator i have in top right corner. If the color is the same, or almost the same, as the class color it's pretty hard to see.
an example is if a mage get a magic debuff. Blue on blue aint good.
Generally when posting about problems with, or requests for, an addon, you should be more specific. For example, which addon are you talking about? This forum is for both Grid and Grid2, which are completely separate addons. Which indicators are you talking about? The built-in corner indicators?
If you're talking about the built-in corner indicators in Grid, they already have a 1px black border. You can clearly see it in the main screenshot on the project page:
I have no plans to add a "border width" setting for the corner indicators. There are several options you could try to help your situation:
1) Increase the overall scale of Grid. This will scale up the 1px black border, along with all other elements of Grid. This setting can be found under Frame > Advanced.
2) Change one or more of the problematic colors. For example, you could make the mage class color lighter, the magic debuff color darker, or both.
3) Use a different indicator for magic debuffs. For example, you could use the Frame Border or the Center Icon instead of a corner square.
Since it says WowAce Forums > Official Addon Threads > Unit Frames > Grid2
in the top i kinda assumed this was a Grid2 area.
But to make sure there are no confusion I'm talking about Grid2. I've used grid for a long time, and yes, there is a border, but not in grid2.
Is this because i just can't see it because of scale or is ther eno border in Grid2. And I am talking about the builtin indicators as shown in your screen shot.
Grid2 might not have a border on the corner indicators; you'd have to check with Azethoth though. If Grid2 has a scale setting, you could try adjusting it to see if a border shows up.
Right now I dont think there is a border. Certainly there is no way to manipulate it in preferences. Eventually there will be. Most "visual" features of Grid will eventually get ported.

A border would be appreciated.
