Not really. The goal of my Healing Reduced module is to treat all healing reduction debuffs as a single debuff. Although it's possible to show it on the center icon to see which specific debuff it is, my intention with Healing Reduced is to simply show "this target will take less healing than normal" or "this target cannot be healed". By contrast, the debuffs in the Raid Debuff module are all distinct, with different effects that require different actions. I would not consider healing reduction debuffs "raid debuffs", as many of them occur outside of raid encounters, nor would I want to display healing reduction and raid encounter debuffs in the same way.
Edit: Also, with the Raid Debuff module, users have (and should have) the ability to disable some debuffs they don't want to see. By contrast, it would defeat the purpose of the Healing Reduced module to disable any of the debuffs it watches for.
Phanx, I agree, but the logic for scanning for buffs, sometimes limited to a single zone or trigger-mob is the same. The addon could still display different functionality for healing reduced debuffs and all other debuffs.
In that respect, then, yes. I'm still not sure they should be merged, though. Raid Debuffs is useful only to raiding players, while Healing Reduced is useful only to healers; not all raiders are healers, and not all healers are raiders. While the buff-scanning logic may be the same, the practical application is not.

Well, it could be one app with three (including "hostile unit") submodules that can be enabled and disabled per default. This will keep the number of extra modules low, and we'll only have one addon that does smart aura checking.
An option that I missed in GridRaidDebuff was that I was only able to add the status to one indicator (center incon). I use the indicators sideicons and it would be really sweet to be able to set some of the minor important (for my role) debuffs in those indicators. for instance "Bloodboil", I only need to know if a an entire grp doesn't get it and a smaller icon at the bottom quite is suiting for that.
Perhaps this would be a bit hard to implement and it probably shouldn't have first prio, since I could just disable it in the raid debuff status and add it manually as a single debuff for scanning.
As maia said, a way to share ones debuffs with others easily would be a really great feature!

The debuff list in the current implementation seems to be complete.
I haven't done Sunwell yet, but up through Illidan it seems to have all the raid debuffs I've needed.
The only odd thing I've noticed is that when fighting Gurtogg with a recent version of this Plugin that shows stack count, it shows the icon both in the center icon *and* the lower left corner with a stack count. Useful info but I haven't been able to disable one or the other icon without disabling both.
--------------- re: module design-------------------------------------------
I currently use GridStatusHealingReduced, GridStatusRaidDebuff, and GridStatusHostileUnit (And GridStatusHotStack). I use this information for all 6 of my level 70s:
Even as a non-healer, HealingReduced can effect my healthstones/pots. RaidDebuffs are important for all classes. And HostileUnit for anyone that can dispel/purge/hamstring/CC or stun mind controlled people (Rogues/Warriors during SSC Kael, Warlock Fear, Mage Sheep, Shamans/Priests to purge, Paladin can HoJ an MC'd, Hunter could Scatter Shot etc). It also helps me to just know what is going on. If leading a Raid, I can call out "more heals on XYZ" if I see a tank get healingReduced, or HotStack plugin allows me to see HoTs on tank (vital in some encounters).
I don't really care whether these get merged into a "SmartAuras" or not, but I think it would make sense. In the long run it would be less confusing for users (less plugins to install) and easier to maintain for developers.
However, I'm fairly sure the "GridStatusHostileUnit" isn't doing an aura check at all. It uses "isHostile()" logic to generically check for all mind control effects without having to manually enumerate them.
I guess I personally find these plugins so valuable that I don't see why they wouldn't be included in Grid itself. Or perhaps module out Grid's Aura checking and create one GridAuras module and include it in the main package.
-------------------short story-------------------------
One day in Botanica I was talking to a paladin who tried Grid and had decided to go back to Xperl or something because he couldn't find the information he wanted. I told him about the various plugins I use and after installing them he became a dedicated Grid junkie like myself.

You guys have done a truly amazing job fixing Blizzard's interface. I'm positive I will be happy with however you guys implement these ideas and also very glad this plugin hasn't completely slipped through the cracks.
Agonizing Flames from Illidan also deals more and more damage over time, sort of like Burn. Can't think of other effects that are somewhat special in this sence.
Sunwell Plateau, Felmyst's Encapsulate debuff is not showing up for me. I assume it's associated to the wrong Spell ID. Adding the spell manually under Aura Debuffs does make it show up.
Encapsulate seems to be a tricky ability spell wise, the person afflicted by Encapsulate for example doesn't emit the damage unlike Vashj's Static Charge which on first sight seems similar, so multiple spells are in action here.
I never had this work, it's set to center icon but nothing ever shows. the test does show things. Anything I'm missing. I'm adding debuffs via aura's currently but I'd prefer to have the debuf showing without the fiddling.

I have exactly the same problem after a recent update using WAU. Everyone was asked to update their omen before brutallus and I did it through WAU including grid. After that the debuff just not showing anymore. Before that everything was just fine.
I can see the debuff using the test option, but in a real fight, nothing poped up. No it's not the piority, I set everything to under 90 and the Raid Debuff to 99.
Any help will be much appreciated.
I updated today and it seems like there was an overhaul of some kind i wasn't aware of.
I can now assign 3 different auras to the indicators (which is good), but I can't find any options (used to be Status->Raid Debuff, but that's gone now) where to toggle certain buffs on/off or switch them to the other indicator.
Which is really illogical. RaidDebuff purely provides status information so I would expect the options to that to be found under Status. There are no indicators or frame modifications involved any longer.
Is there a way to change border color for a debuff now? Before when it was under status I could choose the border color, but now if I enable raid debuff to show for borders, I don't have a choice what it shows. Problem is certain debuffs are using the same border colors as what I have for other aura/status's.
I use GridStatusRaidDebuff in conjunction with GridIndicatorSideIcons to show me a prominent raid debuff icon as the "Right Icon" on Grid status bars.
Since the revamp in April/May, RaidDebuff no longer shows Leotheras' Whirlwind debuff properly. Insidious Whisper still works, and displays the icon as folks are fighting off their inner demons, but the Whirlwind debuff no longer shows up as an icon.
I'm using version 74601.2.

I'm looking more for 6-7 range for the stack counter really...10 is bigger than all the other text in the UF
Since my Grid Frames are set to 20 height, the minimum of 10 actually causes bugs for me when I attempt to open the Grid configuration menu.
I have to change it to some number less than 10, otherwise the minimum is not less than the maximum, which is "height/2"
This font minimum is defined on line 54 of GridIndicatorDebuffCounter.lua

Am i missing something vital?
And text indicator is removed.
So If you want to use stack text, you register stack to some of text indicators.

I would like to know that too specially for Burn.
