Hrm, although I second the question. Especially with pet-support coming, and since one can show Grid when in a party, it's not beyond thinking (I tried the same) to use Grid as partyframes, not only as raidframes.
It's a quick&efficient way to see stuff.
I guess it's something for after the pet-part is ready for public, as only then Partyframes could be removed, but once that is in I too would love a feature to hide the Partyframes :X

I have searched a bit, but could not find out how to hide the party interface in normal play, such as 5 man heroics or just questing, using Grid.
I am using Pitbull as a stop-gap measure for now, but loading Pitbull just to hide the party interface seems overkill =|
Anyone know of a way to hide the party interface? Maybe Grid can do it, and I'm just dumb =(
