Shadmar, I have a feature request for GridstatusHots. Could you add support for the Priest T2 8/8 hot? I've made my own version to accommodate for it, but it would be nicer if you integrated it;) The name of the hot is: "Greater Heal" and is a 15 sec hot.
Another modification I made for personal use is that if I have 2 hots ticking at the same time that I concatenate both the times together in a color between both, in the text of hot1. (like: "14.9 7.4" in greenish blue when renew color is green and greater heal color is blue)I use "center text 2" to show the hot times and I want to be able to see both the hots at the same time in this field. I'm unsure if this would be too specific for my needs though... Maybe there are other viable solutions.
I like your GridLayoutForHealers enhancement a lot, but would like to change the "tank" selection to any warrior/druid/pally(maybe selectable) found on the (ora2 or ct_raid) MT list. I ran this in our last naxx run but we had like 6 warroirs in the raid and it sort of expanded my grid gui outside of the area I allowed for it, and some of those warriors were DPS.
Unfortunately you can't differenciate between tank and dps warriors with the layout. It *IS* possible to write a status addon that will highlight oRA/CTRA Main Tanks for you.
Status modules I'd like to see (or I will someday write):
GridStatusHealer - Expand my current heal priority mod to show which spell to cast.
GridStatusDetox - Show filtered debuffs using detox's code. Maybe include a priority system similar to my healing mod.
GridStatusMainTank - Highlight the oRA/CTRA main tanks.
GridStatusFocus - Highlight the player's focus unit.
GridStatusResurrect - Listen to CTRA's communication channel for incoming reses and display who is already being ressed, highlight the person who you should res next.
GridStatusInnervate - Highlight when a healer needs an innervate, based on priority (priests, druids, paladins, shaman).
GridStatusBattleRes - Highlight when a raid member needs a battle res, based on priority (main tank, druid, priest, paladin)
I and some others of my guild use a module made by Krulguk in our guild called GridStatusGuildmate. It basically compares other members (in the party/raid) guildnames to your guildname and gives a special indicator for that.
So basically if you log in as someone in the guild <OMG CHICKENZ BAWK BAWK> and you join an AV you can give a special indicator to other members of your guild in that AV. Its handydandy if you like to give healing priority to guildmembers.
GridStatusMainTank - Highlight the oRA/CTRA main tanks.
GridStatusResurrect - Listen to CTRA's communication channel for incoming reses and display who is already being ressed, highlight the person who you should res next.
Yeah it would be awesome to have 3 things from oRA available as indicators:
1. Incoming Res (From the resurrection monitor list)
2. MT (on the MT list)
3. Zone (from the oRA zone check window, so you could know who to summon/who wasn't here)
As for innervate I just use low mana indicator and my own judgement, and added Innervate as a buff so I don't innervate someone already innervated.
I dunno if anyone is familiar enough with oRA and Grid both to write these, I guess I'll have to learn. ;)
I could probably write the main tank one since most of the code is already in my GridStatusHealer mod. I just need to figure out if there is an oRA event to use when someone is made into a main tank.

1. Yes I probably could implement this T2 8/8 hot in the module.
2. I dont know about your last request, its hard for me to test such a feature and Im not really sure would want it?

I have a version that almost works, but it requires you to /rl (reloadui) after MT's are set in oRA2.
Havent figured out yet how to do it.

I hope you write these :) Thinking about maybe writing something here myself.

Grita how wonderful this is!! Question I have: I have the Healer one I used as a base and made modifications in Grid for my Priest and another for my Druid.
Is there a way to combine them? I want to keep what I have since it took hours to setup and just add the guild indicator.

Where can I get my hands on it? If you wish to have someone beta test it.

I'm not sure what you are looking for...do you mean that you want to add guildmate as a priority indicator for the healer module? I'm sure that could be done...but I would think it should be done in the Heal module, not the guildmate one. Maybe ask that author?
Also I haven't had time to get into the game since I installed your Guild addon to see how it works. I was wondering if it just added the option to the menu to indicate guildmates or if it would replace, as in.. choose which grid layout I wanted to use. Maybe both?
I love Grid and a relatively new user. Racking my mind I am trying to remember if there is an option to show party/raid pets, as you have the option to add your party.

Okay its early and I haven't had my coffee...but the guild addon just gives you another option on your menu to indicate guildmates. You can indicate them with your border, any corner or with status text (a "G" will shouw up to indicate guildmate).
Here's an image with borders showing guildmate status:
[edit] in the pic above my guildmates have an orange border
[edit2] you can run this with GridStatusHealer at the same time if you like
@Grita
Thank you!! Just popped in and found it, I love it!
Noticed your grid.. the health bar (which I believe is the main color of the frame (little char square), is dark (like mine) and the health loss is light. I had mine like that and now the health loss is black. I've spent hours trying to get it back as it is much harder to see on a dark background exactly how much the loss is (healer here). could it be that I changed the individual frames to be colored by class?
Thank you for all your help.
G
edit: Don't think I was too clear again :P Changed mine to black with class names so it is like yours. But the health loss, which I think is the blue/orange on your mage/druid in your screenie I can't get. So switched it back to health=class, name=class, as the health goes down it is still black to match background, actually whatever setting I have the background set to is what shows. I would prefer to have the class color be the amount of heath that needs filling (as I think yours is).
Few times trying to get my settings the way I want I had to /rl because the color sliders/changes etc. wouldn't take affect until I did. Probably confused poor Grid with all my playing around with it, :P
Is there a way to force the arrangement of the Grid to be restricted on how may rows/columns it will show? For example, when I use the module with MT + everyone else, the everyone else part is arranged so that it's a column of 5 people (regular Grid arrangement), but the MT just keeps on going if we have more than 5 warriors. So I'll have huge ass column (when we are overpopulated with warriors) and then a nice regular grid for everyone else. This makes it tough to fit Grid on the screen. I'd rather have it so that each column only has 5 people, and any "spillover" goes to a 2nd column.
Thanks!

the Guild addon will replace, as you have to select a grid layout for it.
There is no option to show pets.
