I'm trying to figure out what went wrong with my debuff/buffs icons underneath my target frame. A couple of days ago I had it to where if it was a debuff I put on the target, i.e. moonfire, it would show up with a timer on the target while other debuffs had no timers. Buffs and debuffs for my target not put on them by me would have no timer but instead they would slowly have the shadow engulfing it.
My issue is that now all the debuff/buff icons for my target are showing countdown timers. Every time I try to remove the countdown timer I also lose the shading as well. This problem occurred when 4.0 came out and I'm not really sure how I fixed it, I may have had to install an older copy of omnicc. However, when I tried to reinstall an earlier version of omnicc it did not fix the problem this time and on the omnicc comments the issue was told to be a unit frame problem, not omnicc. If anyone understands what I'm asking for and can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. If I need to post screenshot's just let me know.
First of all, thank you for keeping this mod updated. I'm experiencing something unexpected. When I join a party, I get both the default Blizzard Unit Frames and Shadowed Unit Frames. I don't recall there being option to disable the default unit frames when I first started using Shadowed (some time ago). I checked the config and I didn't see the option to do so either. Is getting both unit frames a bug or am I missing something in the Shadowed config? Do I need to disable some new WoW option that came with 4.0?

I know there is the option to hide most Blizzard features through /suf --> Hide Blizzard. If you are referring to the raid frames I have yet to find a way to completely get rid of them myself, but there is an option within those raid frames to hide them. Doing this you will still see a sliver of where the raid frames are, but they won't pop up every time you join a group. Hope this helps.
is there any chance that these two annoying bugs (blizzard standard rune and soul shard bar) get fixed? :(
I'm a bit confused. Whats the point of the "Hide rune bar" option, anyway?
It only works when "Hide player frames" is disabled as well, and when i disable that, the rune bar works just perfectly.

so, it's impossible to use the SUF player frame + blizzard rune bar/soul shard bar?
will there be an update on the positioning system for buffs/debuffs? I think there was a x/y position additionally to the anchor "buttom/left/right/top". For example after setting the anchor to "left" you could still adjust the position in x/y by a few pixel. Would love to see that again because I want to put the debuffs insight instead of outsight of the healthbar.
Quoting myself from wowinterface:
Is it possible to hide tanks in the normal raidframe? I love this feature in the blizzard raidframe - seperating the tanks in a new window. I allready list the tanks in a new window, but they are also shown in the raidframe. Is it possible to hide them there?
For Example: In a 25-man raid with 2 tanks, 23 are listed in the normal raidframe and the 2 tanks are only listed in the "maintank"-frame?
On a future patch will it be possible to sort the raid by role? Also a nice feature of the blizz raidframe
So I'm going to create my SUF settings from scratch since my lock isn't seeing her soul shard bar (I'm using pre-4.0 SUF saved variables file).
To just test out the new soul shard bar, I moved my current SUF settings to another folder to let SUF create a new settings file, and logged into the game on my warlock. My warlock had a soul shard bar beneath her health and mana bar. The bar was divided in thirds and had a purple color (close to the soul shard color).
The latest SUF notes say "Soul Shards now use a new, unique icon". What icon is it speaking of?
Am i missing something or is the menu from the raid frame messed up? When you right click is gives you a limited menu of "set focus" only, is there any way to enable the full right-click menu on this frame please?
Is it possible to display the percentage of xp (specifically under "Texts/tags" in the "Unit configuration" menus)? From searches, the only related code that have found is as follows:
local current, max = UnitXP("player"), UnitXPMax("player")
return string.format("%d/%d (%d%% rested)", current, max, GetXPExhaustion() / max * 100)
I've derived that assuming the variable names are correct, the following should result in the output I desire:
function(unit, unitOwner)
return string.format("%s/%s", UnitXP(unit), UnitXPMax(unit))
end
However, this returns a value of 0/0, prompting me to believe that the variable is different, or that I have done something wrong.
[edit] It appears to have spontaneously started working as expected. I will leave it here as a reference, but I think it might be a useful function to add
I have set up my raidframes showing only HP and classcolored it. Text is showing lvl, name and status (afk, offline, dead etc) I have enabled quick HP. When ppl go offline, sometimes the persons bar still shows the classcolor instead of a gray bar. Text is saying offline. When I do a /suf and disable and enable quick hp, the bar suddenly turns gray as it should, telling me, that the person is offline. Is that a bug or have I overlooked a setting?
PLEASE give a link for a fix to the aura filters =) This SUF has possibly one of the best raid frames out there, even beating Grid. But, its the aura filters preventing it from being top. It doesnt seem to work the filters. I try to filter out Earth Shield, Riptide, and others, it doesnt work. I made sure its on the blacklist filter, and then the correct zone type. I tried many different combos, just doesnt work.
Please, please update the aura filtering.

And when can we have warlock shard bar colored like the old soulshards?:-) Just a request.

Thats the color for death runes.

Go to Player -> Widget Size, and uncheck "Show as bar" for Soul Shards. That will switch to the icon mode.
