Anyone know how to have the HP/Mana bars visually show how much you have instead of just giving a number? At the moment all I can do is color the text using "Health color".
Example of what I'm trying to do is: at 100% mana the entire mana bar would be filled, but if I had 80% mana only 80% of the mana bar would be filled (like with the default unit frames).
Love SUF, but this is the only thing bothering me :(

Eh, this works just fine. There would've been more peopel complaining if it didnt :p

You mean it already has it or it isn't really an issue?
Anyway, where can I find the option to color the entire bar instead of text? 'Health color' says "this works the same way as as the color by health option. But for the text instead of the entire bar", where is the option to color the entire bar? Can't find it in Text/tags.
Is it possible to hook into the cast bar variables so I can use it as an empty bar and hide text fields while casting? I did this in PB4 using an Alpha(x) variable relative to the cast timer, but since I know virtually nothing about LUA I'm a bit lost.
Looking for someone with the aura indicators plugin working that is willing to share the shadowedunitframes.lua file out of their wtf/saved variables folder with me. Please copy/paste it into a pm (if it fits) or pm me for my email address. TX much.
I just found the reason (or at least one reason) why the Aura Indicators Module breaks SUF on init. The problem is that a lot of spell ids have changed, and some spells have been removed.
I am currently working on a modified ShadowedUF_Indicators.lua with corrected values. For the moment I am going to ignore things like "Gift of the Wild" and "Blessing of Kings" giving the same bonus but not being the same buff (the buffs still have different spellids).
EDIT: It worked! The problem really was just the changed spellids. Since I don't want to start a new project I'm uploading my updated ShadowedUF_Indicators.lua to pastebin.com. Click me and hit "download" near the upper right corner of the code. Save as "ShadowedUF_Indicators.lua" and move the file to your ShadowedUF_Indicators folder, overwriting the old file.
Maybe Nevcairiel can cook up an updated version of the complete package soon?
Feel free to use the file I posted, should save you some time looking up the spellids.
I just modified the old spells already in the file with their new ids, I didn't check if there were any new things that need to be added.
OK something is funky with the latest alphas, I have the incoming heal bar turned on for my raid frames, however instead of stacking on top of the current health it covers the entire frame and turns it green, thus obstructing the actual view of the raid member's health. Also, Incoming Heals (short) are broken for me, I expect a 2000 heal to show up as 2k, or a 10000 heal to show up as 10k but they dont, on that note if the combat text HAS to be turned on in order to get Incoming Heals data to show up, might want to toss it in a tooltip somewhere, took me a sec to figure out they were connected. Just to explain what I am trying to get at the end: replace Grid. I have gotten bars and texts and all of those positioned/colored right, now I just need to figure out the above bug/feature and how to make it behave a bit saner :).
Update: ok got another bug, the border size is not uniform around the raid frame. I have it set to 5 and its 5 on the top and left sides of the frame but bottom and right are maybe 2-3.

It doesn't quite work, it allows it to load but there are no options to actually use it. If its working properly for you I would be grateful if you could upload the ShadowedUF.lua (dont remember if there was a shadowedUF_Indicator.lua there too) file(s) from your WTF folder so I could snag them.
So they apparently added the ability, in a raid, to add smoke flare markers in 4.0.1. through the Blizzard raid UI. Is this something that would be accessible through SUF, through another menu, etc? Would it need to be added to SUF?
I haven't yet been in a raid where I'm RL in 4.0.1, so I haven't been able to test this.
dunno is this by design:
the paladin new holy power bar is not always visible. on idle mode it;s not there, but when 1 hp is generated it appears by shrinking the other bars (xp, mana and health bars).
could it be so that ..either have the bar always on (like the shaman totems) or make it appear below when needed (preffered).
(in the config u cannot see the power/resource bar and the XP bar at the same time - they seem to take the same space and when both need to appear, the frame shrinks the other bars )
@Hazun: actually it does work. I removed all my old configurations and started blank, as if I had just downloaded SUF+Aura Indicators.
After my modifications SUF successfully loaded and I could access the configuration for the Aura Indicators - obviously you still need to configure the ones you want to use. Some of the default spells in the configuration tab may also have changed, and I only fixed the ones preventing the whole addon from working. All other configuration can then be done ingame.
Also please note that even though "configuration" and "program" files have very similar names they go in different directories. The file I posted here is a "program" file, the file I sent you via PM is a configuration file that goes into your WTF/xyz/Savedvariables/ folder.
There is no "ShadowedUF_Indicators.lua" in WTF/Savedvariables, all configuration data is stored in "ShadowedUnitFrames.lua".
ok so in regards to the bug with incoming heals I have it narrowed down some more, the problem comes from HoT ticks. When I put Riptide on someone their health bar turns fully green and it doesnt change/update until the HoT is off, for other heals it works as expected. Really weird.
Is it intended that with enemy cast bars, it only shows the duration left on the cast time without showing the icon or name of the spell? If not, how do I fix it? I have it enabled but I don't see any other options.
First, let me say thank you for picking this project up! Very much appreciated, was panicking after 4.0 what I was going to do, so kudos to you!
I do however have a few enhancements. They're litterally just things I would like to see, and not the end of the world.
1. Configurations for raid size. I have an area on my screen where I like to place my raid frames. However I always consider the possibility of 10, 25 or 40 man in the case of AV. And though I can set the frames to accomodate BGs, I can't have it addapt to raid size. The reason for the request is I would like to have my frames "fill" the designated space allocated. Though I set this to accomodate the largest raid 40 man, it leaves a lot of extra space in the case of a 10 man raid. Again, not life or death, just a convenience thing. I could probably even accomodate this with profiles, but I'm lazy =P.
2. I would like to be able to attach the text tags around the outside of the overall frame, the "wrapper" so to speak. The reason being, in advanced settings I can choose to add tags to Health Bar, Power Bar, Totem Bar, Experience Bar, etc. However there is no way to accomodate the overall size when I show portrait. I think being able to attach these tags to the overall frame would accomodate this. Again, not a make or break feature, just something to save me from having to put text in a bar, and tweak all of the advanced settings to move the fontstring to the outside edge.
Anyway, you rock and keep up the good work!
Also, in advanced settings, the text strings weight value is a little vague. Possible could we make this a percentage instread? I wasn't sure of the logic here, but I'm always having to tweak the settings to get as much of a UNIT_NAME to show when sharing a line with another value.
Currently, I am using the release that is posted on Curse. For some reason I cannot get my pet's (water elemental) health frame to appear. I see his pet bar, which I typically place under the pet frame, but no frame.
I checked the options and do have pet frame enabled where applicable. Is this a known issue? I apologize if this was responded to in someone's else's post. I did try to scan through for an answer.
Thank you.

Enable bar, color bar by %, etc. Text/tags are just that, the text and tags for the text.

I wonder if the AuraTracker module made by Proditorlol will be updated ?
Thanks !
