II would love to have a text option to display my current shard count on my player unit frame. I ultimately may end up using a poweraura to display this more prominently, but feel it ought to be an available, selectable option in the text pane.
Is there custom code I could type in presently, to achieve this?
In the SUF options, go to Add Tags -> Add new tag tab. For tag name use "soulshards" and hit OK. This will take you to the "Edit tag" tab.
Tag Name "Soul Shards", hit OK (yes there are two different tag names)
Category "Power"
In the Code box, there should be an empty line between the "function" and "end" lines, paste the following:
hit Accept, and it should auto-fill the Events field with "UNIT_POWER".
Now you can use it just like any other tag, you will find it in the Power section.
Now for my own request, I would really like to see a way to add additional text fields, preferably that can be anchored to any bar but even just to the frame itself would be fine.
I update all my addons through WoWInterface, and it's greatly appreciated that the page there seems to still be being maintained, not just the WoWAce page.
I have a few problems with raid/party pets.
When "Show party as raid" is checked neither party pet frames nor raid pet frames work. The second (and more severe problem) is that even in a raid i do not see the raid pet frames. The only way I can make the raid pet frames appear is an interface reload. After reloading the interface I can see the frames, but I cannot interact with them in any way, and they do not update (i.e. if there are 2 hunters and 3 locks in the raid I get 5 pet frames, but all 5 are white "unknown/offline" and none show any health changes).
Finally I have a request for the pet frames: is it possible to attach the whole block of raid pet frames to the whole block of raid frames? The goal would be to make the raid pets look like they were "Group 3"... in a 10 man raid, and "Group 6"... in a 25. Maybe even have them autoshift so when people are moved to "Group 7" the pet frames shift to the right (or left/up/down, depending on setting) to make room for the bigger raidframes.
If possible raid frames and raid pet frames should still remain 2 separate frame groups.
Simply put: is it possible to get Grid-like behaviour for raid pets?
its possible to update the aura tracker on portrait for me its rly rly important.. :(
i just wanna know if it possible and if u will do it cause i think everyone is in need of it thx for bringing this addon back cheers!
I posted a ticket a few days ago about the missing eclipse bar not showing up in config mode. I wonder why my ticket has been deleted when the eclipse bare still doesnt show up, making it impossible to place. I use the lastes build.

Tickets dont get deleted, they get closed. You can still find them through your ticket overview page in your wowace profile, iirc.
In any case, arbitrarily showing the eclipse bar and the druid mana bar is just not easily possible, because the config system conflicts with the way the bars are usually shown. On top of that, you would never show both bars at the same time, and position/size can be completly different for the two bars. So i declined the ticket as wont fix for the time being.
Want to move the eclipse bar? Spec moonkin. Want to move the druid mana bar? Shapeshift cat/bear.
Sorry if this has been covered, just didn't see it.
Even with the newest updates, I'm still not getting druid mana bars in any form, I got it to show up in the unlocked configuration section, but soon as I lock bars it disappears.
I'm also having issues where my player frames health does not update.
I just installed SUF and wondered if there was a way to show the HP/MP bar degrading as you take damage/use skills, like with the default unit frames. I'm a new player and it's hard for me to pay attention to just numbers :D
Howdy! Many thanks for taking over this project, SUF is by far my favorite and preferred unit frame mod and I was stoked to see it continued. Keep up the awesome work.
Now to the issue I'm having. I'm using Clique for my spell binds for heals and whatnot, and I'm having an issue. I use both mouse clicks (button1, button2, etc) and keybinds (mousepad1, mousepad2, etc) in this regard. However, all of my binds work perfectly, both mouseclicks and keybinds when using the player, target, tot, focus and pet frames. But when using the party or raid frames, only the mouseclick ones work. None of the keybind ones work on party or raid frames at all. I've disabled SUF and tested them with the default Blizzard frames, and they work perfectly, so it's something with how Clique is reacting with SUF, or SUF is not detecting them or something. Any ideas?
Update: Well, it seems they're working now after setting the keystroke-type binds to "hovercast" in Clique instead of "default". Heads up for others out there who might have he same issues. Thanks again!
Hi, I'm having an issue with the expanding totem bar appearing beneath my player frame. Is there a setting to specify that expanding bars such as the totem bar (and I assume the hunter call pet bar and mage portal bars, etc) have priority and appear on top of the frames rather than underneath where they can't be seen? Or could it be another addon interfering? I'm using Bartender4. Thanks for any help. :)
I'd really like to see some kind of options for the eclipse bar for balance druids. Option to change/add text, color the bar a solid color across based on current direction/power being collected, only show it when in moonkin form and such.
But, whenever/however you can get it figured in compared to the others. And I can't thank you guys enough for picking this project up and keeping it from dying
I am trying to figure out how exactly the Range Indicator decides if a unit is in range or not and as far as I can tell it basically just polls for zone info rather than actual distance. I am trying to use it in the raid frames in order to tell me if units are in range for me to heal, but as of right now they are always at 100% opacity no matter how far from me they are. Any chance to get an actual distance fade?

Raid range has been working fine for me, you may have something set wrong. Scroll down to the bottom of the general options tab and you can set what abilities to use for friendly/hostile range check (there should be something in there by default). Also make sure range checking is turned on for raid frames.

I second this. I hope that with the more finished version of SUF now released, you can give a quick look at the Indicators module. :)
