Hello,
Thanks for maintaining SUF, one of the best addon ever.
I recently discovered that I didn't need Grid because SUF can show raid (shame on me ^^).
My problem is the following. I want to put the raid to the right of my BT4 bars, and fill from left to right.
Despite having chosen all the right options (rows added Up, columns added Right, 8 max col, 5 units per col) I can't get the raid to align properly.
e.g. it aligns from the center. In an 8 column raid the alignement is as wished but in a more traditional 5 column raid it aligns from the center of a certain point, e.g. it is not aligned to the right of my BT4 but farther to the right.
Is there no way to make the alignment work? FOUND
BTW now the raid has completely disappeared and I can't make it reappear again. I locked/unlocked frame, aligned to center of screen, disabled then enabled raid unit, nothing seems to worK. FOUND. Redownloaded from curse
Another question I'm trying the option main tanks in a group somewhere else but in LFR only one tank is shown, not 2. Why? Will test again by next raid
Is there any chance of ever getting a smooth bar update feature, or does any know of an addon that adds this functionality to SUF?
If you don't understand what I mean, it's when health/mana/whatever other bar moves up and down smoothly instead of instantly changing values. For example, if you're at 100k health and get hit for 50k, instead of the bar instantly moving to 50k, it will quickly but smoothly (say 0.2 seconds or so) move from 100k to 50k.
I get this bug while putting out the weed at farm...
I get the same bug whenever I log in as a Shadow Priest:

What's happening is that sUF's hideBlizzardFrames sets the priest "shadow orbs" bar frame's parent to sUF's own hiddenFrame, which is (as the name implies) just a Frame table with no fields.
When a shadow priest does something like exiting a vehicle (which is how the sunsong ranch weeds are implemented), the shadow orb update function calls this:
local numOrbs = UnitPower (PriestBarFrame:GetParent().unit, SPELL_POWER_SHADOW_ORBS)
Except that now, PriestBarFrame's parent is sUF's hiddenFrame, with no "unit" field. So that first argument becomes nil, and UnitPower complains. The bar would not have been updated with the proper number of orbs, but since the default bar isn't shown anyhow, the only real "effect" is the error message.
So the quick fix would be to put a .unit field with "player" value on the hidden frame :)
I thought about that, but the hidden frame is used to hide other things as well, and I don't know that some other piece of update code somewhere doesn't also look for a unit field. (Sorry, lots of negatives in that sentence).
If any of those other routines could be triggered for frames other than those associated with the player, then a hardcoded unit="player" would silently give answers that can easily result in visual confusion.
Not saying it couldn't work, just that somebody (Shadowed, presumably) would need to look through the other frames being hidden before making a decision. I suppose the worst case would be multiple hidden frames with varying units: hiddenFrameForPlayerStuff, hiddenFrameFor....

Thansk in advance
I seem to be having the exact opposite problem as you. I want my raid frames to stay centered no matter how many columns/groups there are but I can only get it to grow either right or left. Can anybody tell me how to have it grow evenly in both directions and stay aligned to the centered?
How do you "turn on" the Layout Manager tab? I have it on my main account in WoW, but on my other accounts I can't get the tab to appear so I can import.
Oh I do like this addon! I've been looking for something similar to Pitbull since they don't have support for boss frames. I've tried to customize it to look like my original Pitbull frames and have managed to get it looking almost identical. I'm testing it out now.
Tested and is working awesome. ^^ Glad to see the boss frames too.
I was wondering if it would a nice option the possibility to have something like "clique" inside suf itself ... Also a thing simpler with the binding of LMB, RMB and MMB only.
What's the point of duplicating Clique's code when you can just use Clique? Addons that include their own click-casting features are generally really annoying for people who use more than one unit frame addon (or even use some Blizzard unit frames alongside their one unit frame addon) and want click-casting to work the same on all unit frames, as they're going to be running Clique anyway, and then the addon's built-in features are just in the way and wasting resources.
Hello,
I have problem with found how to change Enlarge your auras. (target-auras-enlarge your auras)
Where is amount of this?
If my think is good its some on basic amount of some % ? And I want change it to more visable if basic is 110% I want change it for 130-140% .
Sorry for me English but I hope u understand me issus.
Hey I'm pretty sure there was an option or a changing of the text code to anchor a part of the text to right or left side or am i wrong?
If I'm wrong would that be something you would be willing to make ?
PaladinPowerBar has a similar problem to the priest bar, and should only be hidden and not reparented. Blizzard_CombatText uses PaladinPowerBar:GetParent().unit for its holy power display (see Blizzard_CombatText.lua:266).

Quick question..
How do I always show the combo point bar (even with no combo points on the target) ... I've looked everywhere and I can't see it!
Thanks!

You did all the debugging work I'm just stating the obvious :P

Just a .2 :-)
thanks for explanation.
Now I am sure it is a bad idea, even if I was not so sure it'll be a good idea when I wrote about it :-)
