hi new to pitbull got thing setup for the most part the way i like... i have the perfectraid in one row on leftside...just one thing i cant figure out..i would like to also have all raid tanks icons across the top of my screen with their targets cant seem to get this to come up
can semeone help with config of this
Activate MainTank and MainTankTarget from extra units set them up the way you want them. (remember you have to be in layout mode "Raid" for them to show)
Then in raid the MT module will recive the tanks set by the raidleader (either using blizzz system or various raid support addons)
Vertical pitbull ftw ;) dunno just toying around with them in this shot so didnt finish configuring things like buffs. Only have to change two words to get it started.. search and change the two words of "HORIZONTAL"in the pitbull lua to become "VERTICAL" instead. Dont change any 'horizontal spacing' values though, only the two (two or three) "HORIZONTAL" entries. Found this out a month ago or so but had the urge to start a layout using them just today, pretty fun change of pace though.
Ok, I am trying to do this I changed the following and its still horizontal fill bars on my raid frames:
if self.orientation == "HORIZONTAL" then
if self:GetHeight() == 0 then
self.fg:SetHeight(self:GetHeight() * value)
self.extra:SetHeight(self:GetHeight() * extraValue)
if not self.reverse then
self.fg:SetTexCoord(value, 0, 0, 0, value, 1,
if objectType == "FontString" then
local fontObject = v:GetFontObject()
if fontObject then
elseif objectType == "StatusBar" then
I changed all those instances of HORIZONTAL to VERTICAL and it's not changing the fill direction,
Ok for the love of all that is holy ive been looking around for 3 days now 3 SOLID DAYS!! just trying tof ind out why the hell i cant get this UI to work.... so please someone either shoot me or answer my question. i know very little abotu this so speak to me like im 5 yrs old ... anyway its the ui on page 19. the one toward the middle with the black and grey on it was posted in january thats the one. please sone shoot me and email or something so my noob ass will learn something email@example.com thanks
@Mooc0w: the layout you're referencing (from January) is for the old PitBull. Things have been tweaked and changed and added since then. As has been said many times in this thread, the old layouts will not work without tweaking.
The screenshot you linked is not PitBull. It is oUF with the oUF_Lily layout. Though you can make PitBull look similar (not the same, but similar).
ok well i went on a spree been playing around all day its now 3 am and ive got it FINALLY. when playing around in the global settings i was able to altar the status bar textures didnt even need full bar... well i downloaded every texture/font lib i could including 3 different dog tags and like 5 Lib(such and so forth)'s. im going to finish this up by trying to add the borders and things i think i can do that using eelPanels or w/e idk not sure but ima do some futzing around and ill get back atch if i finish my ui it might look nice for pple who knows ill post it here if i ever finish it.
Well that explains a lot lol... so where do i get the new layouts? and i dont want my layout exactly liek that but i want the look and feel to be similar.
Id say the best way would be to play around with the settings and make a layout urself using good old "trial and error", change a setting se what it does and play around with em untill u get it like you want it. (recomend having a backup with a decently working setup to save the hassle if u mess soemthing up) Took me about 2 weeks to get a layout that i liked, and atm im trying to alter it to make it more slimmed without loosing information.
Hello guys. I have seen the various examples of vertical UI frames posted in this thread and I wonder if it is possible to set up Pitbull as explained with this screenshot:
The fist frame (left) is a frame where the target got full Health and Mana and the second frame (right) is the frame of the same target after or during a fight. As you can see, the "bottom side" of the Health bar is anchored to the "top side" of the Mana bar and as Mana is consumed, the Health bar position (bottom achorpoint) follows the "top side" of the Mana bar. Does Pitbull allow this type of configuration or do one have to edit the .lua of Pitbull to make it work? Or are there any other Unitframe AddOns that allow this type of set up?
