I have some border textures for Pitbull and I would like to know how I can use them on the frames. I've copied them in the sharedmedia library but I just can't fint the option in the Pitbull menu.
Thanks!

It's under (frame you want) -> Other. There is a dropdown menu on the right listing all the border textures from SharedMedia.
Belldandy, having an error when I try to import the coding, was this tweaked to work with the current Pitbull coding? And if it wasn't, do you have an easy way to tweak it?

Set all bar sides to "center" and the portrait side to "center" and it should look like that screenshot.
I know this is a little late, but I'm just seeing it now.
Anyway, I was liking how you had the talent spec showing in the target frame, but I'd have to agree; some of the hybrid specs need to be truncated so they're not taking up as much room in the frame.
In any case, my question is: how did you add the above lines to LibDogTag-2.0.lua? Or, maybe a better question would be, where did you add them? I didn't see any text when I opened the file up in Wordpad that would have made it obvious.
For the love of god Belldandy, where did you get that code from? It does NOT work if you import it into Pitbull. Just looking at the code it looks nothing like what everyone else has posted. Did you use the export feature or pull it directly out of a .lua file somewhere?
P.S. I love you setup...I'm just getting the same error as everyone else when I try to import the code you've supplied.

Unless I'm mistaken, Cabal's Frames are largely identical to Belldandy's, so maybe you could give those a go and perhaps tweak them to your liking.
On the other hand, in order to get the target's talent spec to show in the frame like she has, you'd have to make a custom text and apply the appropriate DogTag, which would be [TalentTree] - [TalentSpec].
Through more diligent digging found the answers to one of my questions. I would still like assistance with this one however.
Belldandy's layout gives me "Error importing layout:, [string "return },...]:1: unexpected symbol near '}'" I saw some other people with the same issue, but I was unable to make heads or tails of the "dog tagging" statements and how that directly solves this error message. Any assistance is appreciated. I'm heading over to the dog tag wiki to try to absorb some more knowledge.
thx in advance

Hey guys, I need some help here:
I downloaded a premade UI and wanted to import its pitbull layout to my UI. I tried to import the text in Pitbull.lua file from the SavedVariables folder, but it gave me a lot of errors.
So how do I do it?
Anyone know what causes my quest text to appear on the left side of the screen? Character screens, bags, quests, etc... also began to overlap and some i can't close by hitting esc.

The Blizz quest tracker is part of the Minimap cluster. You moved your minimap, so it followed suit. You will also have your durability man over there, quest timers, and capture timers for pvp towers, etc. If your minimap mod allows you to move them, then use that feature. Or get something else like FluidFrames or Visor2 if your minimap does not. Or just move your minimap back to the right.

I'm still getting errors importing this. I keep getting this error:
Error importing layout:, [string "return },...]:1: unexpected symbol near '}'
i dont know much about lua coding and dogtag and stuff.
it should be like http://ace.pastey.net/83297 i guess.

[TalentTree:Trunc(4)]
maybe?
wont that just trunc the entire output into 4 letters?
(making for instance "discipline/holy" into "disc" and nothing more)
instead of the desired "Disc/Holy"
