To import other people's layouts posted on these forums, just copy their text, open up WoW, go to the main PitBull menu -> Layouts -> Import, then paste the text in and press Okay. If everything goes well, you'll get a message saying that it successfully imported. You'll then be able to choose it as a layout.
Sorry for stupid question im too noob I guess in using addons!
In menu I have no layout option to select Import, what im doing wrong? Menu by right click on minimap button right?
Velveeta, what EXP addon is that at the top with the bright colors and what damage addon do you use?
The XP addon is FuXPFu and the damage addon is Assessment which is pretty amazing.
Offtopic: can someone tell me how to get eepanels to stick to myTargetModel? I put the parent frame in eepanels and when I move the myTargetModel portrait it moves with the eepanel but the eepanel doesn't disappear when I don't have a target.
Sorry, back to the regularly scheduled discussion.
@Velveeta: it's possible that the frame is always there... Anchor it to the target frame instead and offset it so that it's behind the myTargetModel frame.
Sweet, thanks. The myTargetModel frame was always present weather it was showing or not, simply attaching the eepanel to my Pitbull target frame and the myTargetModel to the eepanel and it works like a charm, thanks again.
How do I import the whole layout ?
Just noticed that I have to import the single layout for player/target and so on.
There should be an option to import a general layout for raids, for party and for solo ;)
i have tried to import some of the layouts here, to try to help my friend to get it to work but it dosnt work.
its looks easy enought. i copy the code > import > save > and i get the text the layout is saved.
then i go down to the part i want the new UI on, lets say the perfect raid frame. I go to raid > other > layout > chose > and pic the right saved profile.
but when it loads i get a *standard* frame, not the one the creater posted.
so, anyone care to sheed som light over this? pretty frustrating not getting it to work.
