Just a couple of things I noticed since the 5.0.4 patch. I am using Windows XP - DX9, so I have disabled 3D images - which is a shame. But what I have noticed is the following :-
1. couldn't see the fishing cast bar when trying to fish
2. hunter pets health doesn't seem to update quickly. Takes like 5 mins sometimes to update
Hopefully these few little issues can be sorted soon.
If you had a priest you would see this also. It is where shadow orbs are place if I am shadow. sure its the exact same thing for you just with druid and what ever they have that is like shadow orbs for spriests.
Hitpoint Bars, Energy Bar and Combo Point Bar don't update correctly.
Since 5.0.4 hit some of my UI elements don't update as they should: My Combo Point Bar often shows CPs even after a finishing move - until I build up new CPs. HP Bars and Energy Bar sometimes wont update the visual bar, while absolute numbers and percentages are shown correctly.
I added some screenshots to clarify:
Combo points: In "fel_CPs_correct.JPG" you can see that CPs are shown correctly by Tidy Plates, Blizz UI and XPerl Combo Bar. In "fel_CPs_wrong.JPG" I just used a finishing move - and while Tidy Plates and Blizz UI updated correctly - not showing any CPs left - the XPerl Combo Bar still shows some. This is pretty irritating since I am used to look at this bar and now I never really know if my finishing move landed.
Hitpoint bar: In "fel_target_hitpoint_bar_1.JPG" you see both in absolute numbers and percentages (and on tidy plates as well) that this spider is heavily wounded - the bar on the target frame however seems to be full. "fel_target_hitpoint_bar_2.JPG" shows that apparently the bar is correctly updated - it now shows the correct deep red bar of a near death enemy - but the "wrong" bar is still shown as well. This is why I think all these issues are connected: Old values are not "purged" from those bars. (The whole issues happens on my character frame as well btw.)
Energy bar: In "fel_energy_wrong_2.JPG" you can see the absolute numbers being updated while the bar is not. #1 also shows the HP bar issue again.
The whole thing happens in both 3.5.5 and r698.

(VuhDo) <- deactived this once for testing, bug still happened
Wowhead Looter
The only AddOn I could think of that MIGHT interfere with the given frames is VuhDo - but mostly because I only use this just since a couple of days and only know a fraction of its functionality. And since the bug happended even without VuhDo I assume its an xPerl-issue.
I skimmed the last few pages and didn't see something similar - except maybe the hunter pet thingy in posting #682. Btw: Don't have any fishing bar either. ;)
Consolidate the Totems/Special Class Bar into one section. In the next expansion pack, more classes/specs will get a new resource, and totems will be redesigned in their purpose and function. Judging from what Blizzard has done with the monk dark/light system, there will be a separate resource block introduced.
I envision the options will go like this:
Class Resource Section:
Show spec resource frame (including totems, combo points on target, mushrooms, dark/light energy, balance bar, demonic fury, holy power, shadow orbs, etc)
Dock with Player Frame / float?
Show duplicate power bar?
Scale (slider value)
Then there's the matter of xperl-izing the resource bars. This is another can of worms.
Indicate non-interruptibility on the target cast bar. I have the code for this in place, just working on the graphic, which will be a set of slanted stripes layered over the cast progress bar. Got a better idea in mind for how this should be indicated? Is this something that merits an option in the player config frame?
I realize I'm quoting something from over a year ago, but I'm having issues with what you were talking about here. Or an issue. One.
I don't play a shadow priest. I play a holy and discipline priest. Yet, after updating X-Perl for 5.0.4, my buffs under my player frame have been forced down about a full centimeter to make room for my non-existent shadow orbs resource bar.
Now, on my paladin, death knight, shaman, etc. I have the option in the X-Perl menu to remove this special bar if I so wish. I often do. This option is absent to my priest, however. I was wanting to bring it to your attention just in case you weren't aware of it. Not sure if it's intended to do that, but I would assume not. Driving me a little crazy.
If it's not intended, well, then there you go! Holy priests and discipline priests now have to deal with space between their player frame and their buffs that wasn't there before! How does one fix this or is this something you will have to change?
@ Kunami, not sure if you'll see this or back on Curse's website (I replied to you on Curse) I may have a solution for your problem, I play a Priest too, an 85 and a level 40 and the buffs not aligning were driving me nuts and on my Druid but I seem to have a slight fix for that... :D
Yep, I saw that! I thanked you there, but I feel I should probably thank you here, too. Thanks again for the help. I'll have to hold onto that folder until they get the issue fixed. Seriously, thanks a bunch! :D

Hi, quick question from a first time poster :-)
I cannot find a way to turn off Target's Target buffs but leave debuffs, as a tank its quite annoying that there is no separate option for this in the Target's Target options as i dont want to mess up how i see buffs and debuffs on my Target but would like nice clear debuffs on Target of Target for tank switching etc, do not need to see all the buffs they have but switching off buffs removes everything.

Not really an X-Perl bug, more of a missing icon and a green placeholder in its place (as it calls "Interface\\TargetingFrame\\UI-PVP-Neutral", which doesnt exist in the current patch) for the Pandarian race before they pick a faction but are marked as PVP (Including PVP Realms).

I have been using XPERL for a while now and have just made a monk.
I am a healing monk and am trying to track my buffs on my target and party currently xperl will not show these.
The main one i want to track so far (i am only level 65 so have not seen all the spells) is renewing mist as there are other spells that are reliant on this so would be great if you can see what part members it is on!!
That is my main request.
Another request I would love to be considered is allowing resizing or positioning of HOTs in raids. I track my HOTs through xperl on people in the raid for my druid but the icons are soooo small it is hard to see how many ticks they have left. So it would be great if I could resize and even reposition some of these.
Thanks for a great addon

1. couldn't see the fishing cast bar when trying to fish
2. hunter pets health doesn't seem to update quickly. Takes like 5 mins sometimes to update
Hopefully these few little issues can be sorted soon.
Cheers

Any thoughts on that? =/
If you had a priest you would see this also. It is where shadow orbs are place if I am shadow. sure its the exact same thing for you just with druid and what ever they have that is like shadow orbs for spriests.

Btw: Don't have any fishing bar either. ;)
Thanks in advance for any help. :)
If you add shadow priest power bar, then add a possibility of setting it switch off, that between buffs and character frame was not an empty space...
Example: http://i.imgur.com/6yeoo.jpg
Now, on my paladin, death knight, shaman, etc. I have the option in the X-Perl menu to remove this special bar if I so wish. I often do. This option is absent to my priest, however. I was wanting to bring it to your attention just in case you weren't aware of it. Not sure if it's intended to do that, but I would assume not. Driving me a little crazy.
If it's not intended, well, then there you go! Holy priests and discipline priests now have to deal with space between their player frame and their buffs that wasn't there before! How does one fix this or is this something you will have to change?
Yep, I saw that! I thanked you there, but I feel I should probably thank you here, too. Thanks again for the help. I'll have to hold onto that folder until they get the issue fixed. Seriously, thanks a bunch! :D

Fix below (Changes in red):
XPerl_Party.lua line 588
XPerl_Player.lua Line 424
XPerl_Target.lua line 287
Xperl_TargetTarget line 137
