Read the WHOLE thread before posting, enderniniel. This is a blizzard bug.
I opened a ticket with blizz and they said it was an addon problem.
Here is a copy of the email i received in response to my ticket:
Thank you for contacting the World of Warcraft Game Master Department.
After some research it appears the issue you are having may be related to your User Interface (UI). This applies whether you have a custom UI or not. To help resolve this issue we recommend the following steps:
With the game closed please try moving or deleting your WTF, CACHE, and INTERFACE folders out of your World of Warcraft directory. These are temporary cache files that will be recreated by the game the next time you launch. Moving them to the desktop makes it easy to replace them if necessary.
Please also note these folders contain your saved macros and UI addons. By moving or deleting these folders you will also remove any saved preferences, UI addons, or macros you may have added. However, in order for us to troubleshoot the issue we need to remove any modifications to the game and make sure we are diagnosing the default settings.
Step by step guides for your operating system can be found below.
---
Then they gave me a bunch of troubleshooting instructions that I followed to a T and it still doesn't work :( :( :(
Blah, they don't know what they're talking about. Check around this forum, it's well known. Pitbull 4, for example, has removed/renamed that option from the menu to stop people reporting it as a bug when it's really a Blizzard issue. Use /focus to focus something if you use a unitframe addon.
The cleaning out WTF folder trick always amuses me...
Is there a way to add support for LFG's new system for showing which person is in the group as what role. While leveling, its often that the can (being undergeared) could have just as much HP as a plate dps. Having to ask who's my tank makes me look stupid to the other group members, just because I love xperl's look and feel.
Thanks in advance, if there is an option, I just may not have seen it yet.
I noticed a problem with my Death Knight the other day. It seems as though that no matter what I cast on a target, the target frame does not show their debuffs. Debuff highlighting does function, however I get absolutely no indicators neither under or over the unit frame telling me that there are any debuffs on the target. This is only death knight specific and debuffs function normally on my other toons.
I've attempted to reset the settings for Xperl for my death knight, I've made sure castable debuffs are enabled, I've made sure that only curable debuffs is disabled... none of the options seem to show me anything under the death knight target unitframe.
Any ideas? I've read through the thread and searched it as well, and I didn't come up with any similar issues... so if this has been mentioned before I'm sorry!

I'm having a problem with the party debuffs. I have them set to show underneath their frames, but it only works properly with the first party member. For others, it either shows on the side or 1 row too low.
Party member #1 works properly.
Party member #2 is one row too low.
Party member #3 is shown on the side, and no indication on duration.
Party member #4 is one row too low.
The above applies to every party I've been in - not just the one shown.
I noticed that when I mouse over the party options window, the problem fixes, but I don't want to have to do this every time someone gets debuffed. Thanks.
I'm having a problem with the 'flip' setting for party frames. The frames will flip for use on right side of screen but then the buffs randomly roll to the left or to the right. They should roll to the left under the party member frame when 'flip' is enabled. Occasionally they will roll to the right and I do a reloadui to get them back on the correct side but then new buffs are just as likely to continue rolling to the right as roll to the left.
FIX:
The following 4 lines of "XPerl_Player.lua" should be removed:
if (not self.statsFrame.greyMana) then
mb.text:Show()
mb.percent:Show()
end
Thanks for finally correcting this. (As of r353)
My fix was a little more hacky; Although I think you're still double-drawing the percentage if it's enabled. When I removed those lines, the options still allowed me to enable to percentage (IIRC...) but you've wrapped the lines mentioned above with "if pconf..." so now they'll respect the settings chosen. I wonder if the mana percentage is also being displayed somewhere else using the (correct) "if pconf" line?
I might be wrong, this is my (horrible) memory we're talking about here, and I posted this fix about a month ago as a comment on Curse.
Is it possible to see who has the "Weakened Soul" debuff (for instance, by coloring the unit border), by enabling something in X-Perl? I've tried disabling "Only Curable" under "Highlight Debuffs", but that doesn't seem to make it visible.
Any help would be appreciated.
i'm very happy with the raid functions etc, but i miss a feature for 5-man groups to see if i have the same target like the others or like the tank.. for example with a different background-color oder a little symbol (like the mt window).. is something like that possible?
Every time I log in im seeing the following error msg.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm having a problem with my alt. His health bar doesn't change at all. X-Pearl is working properly with my main char, the player health bar is precise. But my alt is ALWAYS with a full health bar. Even if my life is 100/5200 it shows 5200/5200 on player health bar.
Any tip to fix this ?
Thx
I'm having the same problem with my health bar updating as NARk.
A few of things I have noticed:
If I set myself as focus the focus frame updates normally.
If I have myself targeted the target frame updates normally.
If I have the /xperl options window up if I mouse-over the options window it updates my health on my unit frame, leave mouse over options frame and it does not continue to update, take mouse out then put back over options frame it re-updates..

Turn off percentages; Mana percentage stays enabled.

In the Target tab were you can select either Elite Text or Elite Graphic, how about No Graphic?
